Dr. Ben Hanson was born in Detroit, Michigan and has remained a resident of southeastern Michigan throughout his life. Dr. Hanson completed his bachelors degree and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. From there, Dr. Hanson completed an advanced residency program focusing on complex restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and IV sedation at the VA Hospital and the University of Michigan Hospitals in Ann Arbor. Dr. Hanson entered private practice in 2011 and has maintained a consistent focus on continued learning, completing hundreds of hours of advanced training.
Dr. Hanson firmly believes in lifelong education and is a founding partner and faculty member at the Foundation for Surgical Excellence an Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) accredited continuing education company supporting doctors in learning progressive surgical techniques to advance patient care. Dr. Hanson is also the Clinical Director of Implantology for Heartland Dental Care, the largest Dental Support Organization in the United States.

Twee, the hygienist was Amazing. Highly recommend for those who don't like going to the dentist. Dr.Garay was excellent. Highly, highly recommend.

They are very nice there. But mostly about implants.Which is good for the rich and entitled. The cost is almost as much as my home in 1969. House was 19,000.00. Well try almost another10,000.00. I had sticker shock. If they would of told me the cost up front. I would never wasted their time. They do have financing but who could handle a $350.00 payment a month. Smile and teeth are important. But I can live without the fancy frills.

This place is amazing! My 14 year old Daughter is very hesitant of Dentists, but this place made her feel very comfortable. From the back room to the front desk were very professional! We will be referring West Highland Dental to ALL of our Friends & Family.

Horrible experience! Would not recommend this office at all! I asked prior to making my appointment if my 20 month was able to come with me due to not having a babysitter. They agreed and said it was no problem. I had him in a stroller with his snack, cup and toys. He cried while I stepped away for X-rays so therefore I was told they would not complete the X-rays and the dentist wouldn't see me at all because of that. Also then told me he couldn't even be in the room while getting a filling which was not stated on the phone call while making the appointment. But then she said "I've had other babies sitting right there in the room while parents have had work done." So I asked her why am I being told my son can't be in the room then........ She didn't know what to say at that point and said I can get the dentist for you. I have never experienced anything like that. Couldn't help and sit with my little one for 5 minutes to complete X-rays ?!?! Other medical/dental offices the women have played with my little ones during situations like that. Very rude and not caring at all! I left there crying. Just an awful place and experience. Aren't women supposed to stick together to help other moms out in their time of need?!?!

Everyone at West Highland dental is very professional and very kind. The dentist and the hygienist did a thorough job on my cleaning and recommendations of what I need done. I will definitely keep going there for all my dental needs.
