West Creek Dental is a locally owned, family-oriented dental practice. Our welcoming staff is highly experienced, and we pride ourselves in providing personal care with a smile. Our services include care for young children, adults, and seniors.
We do not believe that a high-volume industrial-type dental office is right for everyone. Our goal is to provide a family-friendly vibe with a personal touchas well as all the professional expertise that you would expect at your dentist. We want to help ensure you and your family enjoy healthy smiles for many years to come. We promise to make your experience at West Creek Dental one of the best you have ever had.
She graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2001. Since then, she has worked in high volume as well as highly personalized clinics and has been the sole proprietor of a family dental practice near Dallas.
She has been in Austin since 2010 and started West Creek Dental back in 2013 when she decided that running a dental clinic was her personal nirvana, something that gave her life meaningful purpose. She finds that purpose still when West Creek Dental opens its doors every morning.
Dr. Gokhale has seen what works well and what patients really care about. She feels strongly that as a dentist serving in a family-oriented community such as South Austin, the primary goal of the practice is to provide state-of-the-art dental services in a family-friendly environment. This is what they strive to do at West Creek Dental.
Dr. Gokhale has enjoyed close professional and personal relationships with so many of her patients, employees, and peers because she is much more than an accomplished dentist with a 'gentle touch.' She is also a very empathetic person with a sense of humor.

Dr. Gokhale is the best dentist I have ever been to and I have ever been to so many in my life. I suffer from dental anxiety and she was calm and reassuring at my first visit. She took the time to listen to me and ask me questions of what I would like done. Then she gave me my options. She made time to fit me in her schedule. The staff is as amazing as she is. Always friendly and remember my name and what I do. When it came time for the procedure she gave me dark glasses and had me get my iPhone and provided ear buds so I could listen to my music. She would stop periodically to ask if I was okay. I had extractions and never felt it, even asking when was she going to pull them and her reply, I already have. Her prices are very reasonable, they were lower than the other 2 quotes I had gotten. Do yourself a favor and make her your dentist, you can thank me later.

Where do I begin, A dire situation turned comforting, after a deteriorating old bridge, called west creek dental, explained my situation, I was seen the same day. Dr. Gokhale looked at my X-Ray, came up with a game plan and we went from there. Wonderful and laid back practice, fantastic staff and fair pricing.

Wasn't gonna do this. Everyone was really nice. But I was drawn here by the fantastic reviews so if I can help someone to not go here I will. Got 2 crowns a little over a year ago. First one fell out just before the year mark. Got it put back in (which they charged me for). At the time I made an appointment to get the other side of my mouth done. Put down a deposit but ended up cancelling. Was told they would refund my deposit. They shorted my refund by $130 with no explanation. I let it go figuring I wouldn't go there anymore it wasn't the biggest deal. Tonight at dinner my second crown fell out. I'm livid. This is clearly not an outlier but an issue of the individuals in this practice just being bad at their jobs. If you're thinking of going here, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

I went to West Creek Dental for a second opinion. From the minute I walked into the office and when I left it just felt calming, I know crazy about saying a dentist office is calming. I did stay with them and have had the work done. I will get my bridge n 2 weeks. I highly recommend West Creek Dental from the office staff to Dr Gokhale are just amazing..you know what's going on at all times.

This experience has been so... NICE. The front desk girl is so sweet. Bri the dental assistant was so easy going and reassuring. The Dr. was so nice and genuine. I got my teeth cleaned today and the difference is amazing. I'm literally shocked. They didn't make me feel self conscious. They didn't make me wait a long time to come back. Im so excited I was referred here. I got a new Dentist!! Finally I found one that is real. Check this place out for sure. A little corner office making a BIG difference.

I wish I could say I had the great experience that everyone else noted about this office. My experience was terrible, and I would not recommend this physician to anyone. She filed my back tooth down so low for a cap she ended up breaking the cap while putting it on. She blamed the breakage on the vendor's material. I had to wait for her to mold a new cap. It took a few weeks for the cap to come in. What was the purpose of her replacing the cap? I went in for Invisalign. She claimed this back tooth had to be fixed first. Fast forward to my Invisalign experience, she told me it would be 15 months and my teeth would be perfect as long as I followed the rules - wearing the retainers 23 hours a day. I did. After 15 months, my teeth were not what I expected. The physician took new moldings, and the new retainers came in weeks later. After wearing the retainers for month I sought a second opinion. Apparently, this physician should have moved the "brackets" on my teeth so that my retainers would continue to move my teeth the way we imagined. I moved my records to the new dentist's office after wasting more than $3,000 with this doctor. This doctor has not called me once after my last visit to pick up my new retainer - even considering that she had multiple retainers that she had for me to use in the near future. She only gave me one retainer per month to ensure that I came back to see her, but she knew that I recognized her lack of professionalism and treatment at my last visit. This doctor took my money, and I had to pay more to have my new orthodontist and a general dentist fix everything she messed up - including the cap. I'm very happy with my teeth now although I could have been $3,000+ richer if I didn't stop at this office.

This review is a little overdue, and honestly I rarely review anyone. That being said, I HIGHLY recommend this place. Long story short, I had an old veneer break off my front tooth on a Thursday night. I looked like a hillbilly and needed to get it fixed ASAP. I called dozens of cosmetic dentist around Austin and got the same answer from nearly all of them... "We only do full mouth restorations or fix our previous patient's teeth". What a joke!! Of the dentist that would see me, it was going to take more than a week to even get a consultation. I had left a message on West Creek Dental's voicemail and to my surprise, I actually got a call back and they told me to come in on the following Monday (they're closed on Friday like most dentists). As others as have said, the staff "interviews" you in the chair and then once Dr. Gokhale comes in to the room, they repeat back to her what you told them. Cutting to the chase, Dr. Gokhale was able to take a mold of my tooth and get it off to the lab immediately and also install a temp so I didnt look like a hillbilly. She also recommended (which I knew) that I needed a deep cleaning done, so I scheduled that to be done at the same time I would get my permanent cap put on. A week later I was in the chair getting my permanent cap installed and, to my surprise, Dr. Gokhale actually performed the deep cleaning herself (I've never experienced the dentist actually doing that!). I opted for the nitros to take the edge off for a small fee, and it went as smooth as any dental procedure you could ask for. In the end, she did an AMAZING job matching my front tooth in both shape and color and I couldn't of been more happy with the whole experience. If you want a great dentist, this is the place to go!

Thank you Dr. Gokhale! This is the most patient and personable place I've ever seen. After neglecting my dental health for 8 years due to a traumatizing experience at the dentist, Dr. Gokhale and her staff were extremely patient with me. I even panicked and cancelled my original appointment but they worked with me, and are continuing to do so. Anali at the front is the sweetest! Also major props to Dr. Gokhale's dental assistant, She really helped when I wasn't able to get general anesthesia. 10/10 recommending to my peers. Thanks again ladies.

Communication between the assistants and dentist is made while you're present which was something I've never experienced before in healthcare. This made me feel more involved in the process of my care rather than a bystander. Very considerate and professional and I've never felt more comfortable going to the dentist before in my life, honestly. I wish I would have found them sooner!

Excellent dental office. I had a crown and a filling completed here. Dr. Gokhale is superb, very competent and gentle. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. Highly recommended.

The people were friendly, but the services are way too expensive. I told them I didn't need x-rays because I already know what my issue is, wouldn't see me without taking them. Then was quoted at 1400 dollars to have 4 teeth removed. I'm in tears in the chair from the amount of pain, and the doctors only recommendation was to take a mix of ibuprofen and Tylenol, even though I explained I'm already taking roughly 6000mg of ibuprofen at a time multiple times a day. They don't seem to care about pain management or finding cost effective solutions for their clients.
