Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

This is a good office but very hard to get appointments. I pre paid for my daughter ms braces here and it's been so hard to get appointments. I picked this office since they're open on Saturdays but it's pretty much impossible to get a Saturday appointment. Tough for working parents to schedule between school etc

Everyone here is super friendly! And they always ask how you're feeling and if you need anything. They told me I needed to get some work done before getting braces and I was able to get work done that same day! Which was great for me. Best dental office I ever been too. Victoria is super nice and she help me understand the payments plan for my treatment. Thank you all and Victoria for making my experience here wonderful.

KAYLA and FALINE, are both wonderful and amazing Oral Hygienists! I am extremely sensitive. They have both given me a deep cleaning and for the first time ever, I did not experience any pain. They listed and were very compassionate when I informed them that I am very sensitive due to prior trauma from Dentist when I was a child and previous dental work. I have explained this to other hygienist and they just seem to think that I was over exaggerating. I would highly recommend that you request FALINE or KAYLA, as your hygienist especially if you need a deep cleaning.

Doctor was friendly but the staff lacks communication, organization, and has no regard for patient's time. My husband booked me a dental CLEANING a few weeks ago and informed the staff I was 6 months pregnant upon booking. The staff member making the appointment simply replied with "ok, thanks for updating us". He also requested the latest possible time for a CLEANING (keyword) since I work late. The girl says, 5:45. My husband agrees. A few days before the appointment, I get a text to confirm my appointment. I confirm and get an automatic, "thank you for confirming" reply. THAT'S IT! THE DAY of my appointment, the office calls my husband since im at work and ask for a clearance from an OB. Of course were already upset because we informed the staff with plenty of notice and nobody bothered to mention this was necessary. Regardless, we call the OB office and explain the urgency and they efficiently get us a clearance by noon. I get to my appointment around 5:40 and all the staff is busy so I don't get checked in until 5:44, mind you my appointment is at 5:45. Upon check in, the blonde receptionist apologizes for the wait and makes a comment about how there were so many girls working the front yet I wasn't helped. I gave her my clearance since she didn't ask for it, but then She tells me, "Oh you didn't create a mychart account? That's gonna eat into your time". This really bothered me because of her patronizing tone but also your staff didn't ever send me an email or text to notify me of this new rule AND I'm an established patient so they have my info on file. She sends me the link via text and without making a scene, I just fill out the profile but I'm very clearly bothered by this entire interaction. So then I get called back only to get asked if I can do x rays? Apparently the clearance they so badly needed wasn't even reviewed! After the x rays, I'm Finally seated for the exam and cleaning. The Doctor, while nice, was speaking so fast with a mask on that I couldn't understand what he said at the end and had to ask him to repeat himself. He recommends a cleaning to the tech while I wait in the exam room. A few minutes later the tech comes back in. Surprise, surprise... no cleaning. On the way out I ask the tech, why we weren't doing the cleaning today since thats what we asked for? She starts to say "because were clos.... (Catches herself and says) you're scheduled for an exam and x rays" and points to the form in her hand. I work for a medical office. I understand changes in policy, etc, but we NEVER patronize our patients or punish them for our mistakes. We communicate and most of all never waste a patient's time because we treat them the way we would want our family treated. To waste my time and be so inefficient was so inconsiderate that its enough to make me start searching for a new clinic. Its not worth your money, time, or peace of mind. Go somewhere where they actually care about you as a patient.

Dr. Yashar does a great job. Sally is a good helper. I am having a dental implant placed to replace my two front lower teeth. The process has been explained well and the bone graft and implant were relatively quick and with little pain (controlled with pain medication).

All over experience was great. I had my tissue graft done by Dr. Yashar and the procedure went smoothly and done in well experienced manner. The recovery went well, and you won't even noticed any scars. Steve was amazing as well assisting me in the exam room.

Avoid this dental group at all costs. Been here since August 2021 of last year for a simple check up and that turned into a NIGHTMARE. The dentist that I worked with "Clarissa Burquez" said l I needed (3) crowns and me not knowing any better gave her the benefit of the doubt since she was the "professional" and had her do the job. Worst $3k+ mistake ever! I literally went there at least (8) times to have the crown fit properly because of poor placement causing gum boils and had to ease the pain by taking (8) Advils a day. They don't care about your health, their answer was "this is normal and should go away after a couple weeks." LIARS!!! Had the main dentist named Dr. Zaklama attempt to resolve this irritable crown situation and finally thought I had this problem resolved so I can move on with this horrible situation. Almost a year later, my top left crown has cracked and now causing pain once again. Keep in mind crowns are supposed to last at least 5-10 years, this didn't even last for a year. At this point, I don't even bother contacting them to "try" and fix this crown issue. I will be seeing them in court soon. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, just trying to help prevent this situation from happening to anyone else.

I have never been a fan of the dentist, until now! The dentists at West Covina Dental are gentle, friendly and explain what needs to be done before they do it! I like going to the dentist now!

Andrew is cool. He cleans my teeth and is very transparent when communicating about procedures and he will not sugarcoat it if you are doing a bad job brushing your teeth. I have a love hate relationship with him. I do recommend him and the dentist office. Everyone is really nice. And the music they play is nice. Like millennial elevator music.

Terrible dentistry! They told me that I needed 4,800 of work for my teeth. I got a second opinion from another dentist and they told me that I only had to pay 64.00 for my portion. Liberty Ins will pay the rest. I'm a senior and I feel cheated! They need to be more honest about what they do! Please make sure that you do your homework before you go to them.
