Every holiday season West Coast Dental teams up with the Salvation Army of Southern California to provide underprivileged children with unwrapped toys. West Coast Dental has donated thousands of unwrapped toys in the course of 10 years. West Coast Dental also encourages patients to help donate by giving them a 10% discount on any new service. Tis the season for giving!
While COVID-19 has affected our ability to gather, its also deeply impacted schoolchildren and their families who rely on their schools meals, support, and education. To help support our community, Magicland Dental has teamed up with local school lunch programs to hand out meals, and also toothbrushes, to ensure nutritious meals and continuous oral health education despite the very real limitations of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The program is a continuation of Magicland Dentals commitment to providing local children, in partnership with the local school districts, the quality oral healthcare that they, and every child, truly deserves.

West Coast Dental & Orthodontics, the leading provider of adult and childrens dentistry in Southern California, has partnered with First African Methodist Episcopal Church Los Angeles, (FAME Church LA) to offer free orthodontic screenings for local children aged 12-17 years old.

So kind. Friendly. Welcoming. Diagnosed problems I knew I had but other dentists ignored. (I knew I needed wisdom teeth extraction but no other dentist ever recommended it, probably because I've recently been put on dentical) They made me feel welcome. Did not medicaid shame me like other places (we all fall on hard times, doesn't make us bad people) Highly highly recommend. Best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Everyone is in a great mood and patient and just good vibes all around. From the receptionist to the assistants to the doctor. A++

I LOVE the dentist and Orthodontist but the office staff is very rude here. And also unorganized. I was called and told that I can change my September 7th appointment to August 25th or 31st (I chose the 25th). I was called around the 23rd and told that I can't do the 25th but I can do the 31st. I was then called a few days later (2 days before my appointment) and told that I can't do the 31st. I then asked to be switched back to the 7th and they only had one time slot available that was later than I schedule my appointments and told that if I can't take that one then I'll have to go on the 28th. I also called 3 or 4 different times asking for information on pricing on cleanings and was told they can't give me that information then finally said the manager/coordinator can but she's busy. Took my number down and never called me back. I finally went in and was given pricing then asked for my dental plan to not be auto renewed and the manager told me it doesn't renew and today I got an email saying it was set to auto renew!!!! So I called the office and stated that I was misinformed and she said "oh no this is set to auto renew." The manager is definitely the rudest of the bunch! Def going to see about changing offices this one is a mess.

Horrible man that took us in an office and was patronizing me, would not let me watch from a distance while my 5 yr old got a filling. Told me to call corporate if i had a problem. His delivery and interaction was rude and belittling. Will not return or refer, Denist lila K is extremly helpful and is the best dentist ive had. Sadly her coworkers are the exact opposite

Very disappointed, my last visit was for exam and cleaning, waiting time and examination 90 min,and set other appointments for cleaning, again more the 90 minutes at that time I was anxious, and the procedures was fine,until he started talking for more the 3 minutos with other person and I feel bad and told him "your get on my nervves"he get mad and stop the procedure.maybe mi traduccion to Spanish was incorrect ,I'm 68 years old and must be considered. I was so nervous ...talking and working in my mouth.....

Skilled employees who take care of their customers properly. Each time I go they explain what's needed clearly and do great work. Another amazing experience, been going for a few years and every time I visit they do high quality work. The wait time is short and every staff member I've worked with is very experienced!

Every time I come in the staff is so friendly and helpful. They always try there best to fit my needs as an ortho patient. I am so glad I chose to do my braces with west coast. I got a great deal and continuous support. Shout out to my dentist as well she rocks !

First visit: Had a 4pm appointment for a cleaning here as a new patient. Arrived early at 3:55pm. Waited in the lobby. Got called back for x-rays ONE HOUR and 21 MINUTES LATER! X-rays and vitals took over 10 minutes. Then sat in a chair waiting for the dentist for another 15 minutes plus. Dentist arrived. Told me I need a root canal and to come back another day for that--AND for my cleaning! Left very frustrated--without a smile, that's for sure. Second attempted visit: Had a 1:00 PM annual check up appointment. Arrived 7 minutes early. Asked how long the wait is. "Shouldn't be long; they're back from lunch" was the response I received. THIRTY-FIVE minutes later, was called back for x-rays. Then waited for the dentist, who, I was told would be "right in." Then waited for a person to tell me what my cavity was going to cost to fill. Was told I have one cavity that they can fill for $90+ which "may" become a root canal they can do for $740+ (yes, more than seven-hundred forty dollars!). These estimates are WITH my Delta Dental insurance! Then waited for the hygienist to clean my teeth, who I was told, once again, would be "right in." By now, it's 2:30 PM, which is when I told West Coast Dental of Rancho Cucamonga that I needed to leave. Hygienist started cleaning at 2:40 PM. I was out the door by 3:00 PM. Spent over two hours at this office. If you want to waste time, and be told everything will just be a "few minutes," come here. Please either pad your estimates, or tell patients the truth as to how long something will take. Dare I make a third visit?

This is probably the worst dentist to exist. I had the worst experience with my kids here. We waited over a hour for a cleaning and was finally taken back just to have to wait on the parts for the cleaning to be cleaned so another hour and half wait. Then we had to come back for the pediatric specialist. This lady was the absolute definition of horrible!! I wouldn't ever let her come near my kids to do anything ever again. She was very unprofessional and really didn't seem to want to work and said my daughter needed was more work. I recently went to another dentist and had a wonderful experience there and I am going to have to pay out of pocket to get my daughters teeth cleaned bc they didn't even to it right. Plus the work the dentist was saying was not even correct or right. She wanted to put a filling on a cap that is missing a piece!!! Not just replace it!! This place I will never go back to!!

Don't waste your time here. They make you wait 1 before getting x-rays for a simple cleaning appt. They also don't care. They overbook and they know it. I have to leave after waiting for a hour and half and still out in the waiting area. Will not go back and I don't recommend them.

Their wait time is too long My appointment is at 10 and they checked me in 11:20 - the 1st time I went there they did only the X-ray and today is only the exam and they mentioned for the 2nd time that they packed up and can't do the cleaning So my 6 month check up took them 3 visits to the office Worst service

Overall, I am pleased with this office. I do recommend Dr Kakar because she in very knowledgeable, and does a provide excellent dental services. However, the hygienist should clean more between teeth where there are permanent retainers, and/or under bridges. Also, in all of my past experiences at dental offices, I have been provided toothpaste, toothbrush and freshener after my cleaning. This was not done.
