Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

If you are a person looking for a new dentist, be ready for some surprises. I went for my first time. I was sitting in the dentist's room for 3 hours. For roughly only 30 minute of that 3 hours, either the doctor or one of their assistants was taking x-rays, cleaning my teeth or checking my gums. They will nickel and dime you to the extreme. I got a bill for costs that were not covered by my insurance. They charged 90 dolors each for 4 pictures (just a regular camera picture), one of which was literally just a head shot for a profile picture. Also, they charged 70 dolors for "hygiene instruction". I received no hygiene instruction. In fact I was complemented several times how clean my teeth were and how healthy my gums are. So I am a little confused why I got charged for being complimented. I guess complements don't come free anymore. These were just a few of the cheapest items listed on their bill. Let me recap, $90 for a profile picture, $70 for not being told any hygiene recommendations, and 3 hours of waiting for 30 minutes worth of actual dentistry. In summary if you have time and money to waste, this is the perfect fit for you.

Not sure if this place is trustworthy yet. They said I have a gum disease that I haven't heard of and need a deep cleaning instead of regular cleaning. I doubted 1st but ended up paying $86 and got the "deep cleaning" which only took 15 mins. Not sure if deep cleaning for gum disease is supposed to take only 15 mins as my regular cleaning at other dentists took 30 mins.

Very clean facility and loved how everything was explained to me as the visit went on. Julia was amazing and explained my benefits very well before we scheduled any procedures. Would highly recommend Dr. Guru!

Long story short. I been here on a recommendation from a co-workers wife cause I was having severe headache. They saw me the same day (which is rare). Figured the issue and was able to solve it. Dentists are my kryptonite. They are professional. Take care of your needs and make sure your comfortable before they keep going. I highly recommend them to everyone. I'm not even from here. But I'm willing to see them continuously for their effort and support for my mouth. They are with traveling into town for. They helped me tremendously.

I'm so glad I found this place while searching for a new dentist. The doctor and his staff are very nice and engaging which puts me at ease. I have been three times this year and never once had any pain. I highly recommend this practice if you're looking for a dentist.

Amazing experience! They are very thorough and the staff is all very nice! The lady at the front desk hassled with my insurance to get me the most coverage when my insurance was being difficult, and the hygienist gave me local recommendations, as I'm new to the area. Dr.Guru was very nice and helpful in explaining my treatment. I even got a cute goodie bag with a water bottle, chapstick, and candy!! 10/10 recommend!

I needed a root canal, made my appointment and had everything completed the same day including crown, Dr Guru's entire staff was atttentive to my needs they even brought me a blanket, they were amazing, I'll definitely be back for my whitening.

I have been trying to find a dentistry to complete the work I needed done. I unfortunately had to pay out of pocket, thankfully they take care credit, which helped tremendously. This was a wonderful experience. Dr Guru & his team have great bed side manner & they are very accommodating. They made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. Hope to see them in the future. I love this office! Location is great just off Tylersville and Cox Rd in the Voice of America shopping center. I made an appointment online and was able to get both of my girls into the office within 2 weeks for new patient exams. Which is great because every other office I tried to schedule with had their earliest appointments about 2 months out. The ladies at the front were awesome and the gave the girls the cutest little swag bags with West Chester Modern Dentistry water bottles, pens, chap stick, and let them pick out pop its. The dentist was very knowledgeable and great with the girls. Most children hate trips to the dentist but the experience my girls had they can't wait to go back! *Would highly recommend*

This was the only place that could get me in for an emergency dental appt (other than Aspen which I don't recommend!) and I'm SO glad I chose them. Dr. Guru is so nice and the rest of the staff is incredible as well. I can't recommend them enough!
