Dr. Fort was born and raised in West Chester, PA. He received a Bachelors of Science degree from Penn State University in 1999. Dr. Fort is a 2003 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine.
While there, he also earned a Masters of Education in Higher Education Administration as he would like to pursue teaching at the professional level in the future. Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Fort was commissioned as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. After completing Officer Indoctrination School in Newport, R.I., LT Fort completed a one-year hospital-based General Practice Residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.
From there, he was assigned as the Dental Department Head on USS WHIDBEY ISLAND (LSD-41) from June 2004 until June 2006. During his time spent on board, he participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom as a forward-deployed operational unit supporting both Sailors and Marines in the Persian Gulf. His ship was also an integral member of Joint Task Force Katrina in support of hurricane relief efforts in the gulf coast region, which included providing dental care to numerous displaced citizens.

Horrible. This is a business in which every one quite obviously is miserable. The opposite of friendly and welcoming. I was never pleasantly greeted or given any common niceness. The billing coordinator is demeaning and downright rude. Dr Kim has basically no bedside manner. He is nice enough, but he made comments during my appointment like: "Oh, that doesn't look good. Yikes." And then he'd just leave the room without further explanation. I think I had a different dental assistant each time I was there and, each time, it was a though they'd never worked with Dr Kim before. They were always unprepared and unsure. And neither the assistants nor Dr Kim offered any communication about what was actually happening. They'd just walk out of the room in the middle of a procedure, leaving me wondering if they would be returning and also what they were doing. Aside from all that, I never once left the office feeling like my teeth were clean and shiny like I had at other dental offices. If you value your teeth, your time, your money and yourself, do not patronize them. They make other dental offices look like a trip to Disney World. Update as of 9/2022 When I was a victim of WCDA, they had me wear a flipper prior to getting a permanent implant placed. They checked my mouth during the flipper placement and noticed the flipper had pushed my bottom teeth a bit until they were wiggly. Since I left their torture chamber, I've had multiple issues with my bottom teeth. So far, I've had two root canals, two crowns and I will need at least two more. I was almost in the ER with one. This place ruined my mouth. I will write as many reviews as it takes until they are out of business. I am now a grateful patient of Comfort Family Dental on WC Pike. I was in tears for my first visit and the doctor was amazing. The staff is so nice and treats their patients with decency. I am no longer afraid of the dentist!

Very rarely do you come across people who actually change your life for the better, I can't thank Dr Fort and his team enough, for changing my whole entire outlook of "The Dreaded Dentist". I love this practice. When I broke a tooth recently I was able to see Dr. Forte later that day. The shot didn't even hurt. All around it was a pleasant end to an otherwise bad day.

This is the place to come for your Dental works, I have to say the place is very clean and organized. On entering you are met with smiling faces, a very friendly and courteous staff who handles the paperworks professionally. Dr Fort with his magic touch along with Stephanie one of the Hygienist were the ones who met my needs. I would definitely recommend . Thank you.

Both Dr. Fort and Samantha came to my rescue with an emergency extraction. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable throughout the procedure and it is clear they the care very much for their patients!

Dr. Fort and all his staff are such great and caring people! I will never go anywhere else! Many people are worried about going to the dentist, but not me because of Dr. Fort...he is the best!! He not only cares about your teeth, he cares about you as a person!! He always knows the way I prefer to have any treatment for my teeth, since sometimes I can be worried lol. Just love him!!

I've been going to West Chester Dental Arts for about 10 years now, as a child I grew up with many issues with my back teeth. I am very afraid of the needles and the drills and all that stuff, and when I finally found Westchester dental arts they helped me with a plan to get several implants and the procedure was flawless. These people are the best from the receptionist to the oral surgeons A+ A+ A+!!!

I needed a root canal, an extraction, and 2 cavities filled. I am terrified of the dentist, hence my poor teeth. I can honestly say, I LOVE this office!! From the moment I went in to the moment I left they were very aware of my anxiety and did everything they could to keep me relaxed. I didn't feel any pain. None. Even the novocaine injections were painless. Dr. Kim constantly asked if I was ok, if I needed any breaks or anything else to make me comfortable. Hours later, I'm at home and only in tylenol and no pain. My jaw is sore from being open but that's it. Wonderful work, I've already scheduled my next appointment and will never avoid the dentist ever again! Thank you!!!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff here! Every time I am here they are calm, patient, and caring. They take the time to make sure I understand each step of the process, they go over in detail the after care I need to do, and they are very personable. I hated going to the dentist but I feel like I am seen as a person here and they understand my anxiety and are able to work with me so I am comfortable throughout the process. They are not judgmental and understand everyone is at a different place with their dental journey. I look forward to my upcoming appointments to continue working on my smile and with a wonderful team.
