This replaces my review from 3 years ago. West Cape Family Dental *used* to be a great provider of dental services. But in my last four cleaning visits, I've seen an actual dentist just one time for less than a minute. My most recent visit included x-rays, but I don't think anyone even looked at them. They even tried to charge me $50 for seeing the dentist. I recommend looking elsewhere for a dental provider.

I get timely reminders for appointments by call and text. The reception staff is very friendly. I don't wait long for my appointment and Dr Choi and her staff are friendly and efficient. They explain what they are doing as they go along and let you know it's ok to ask for a break if you need one. The office is clean and inviting. I would definitely recommend West Cape Dental.

Sept 16, 2022Another day of great care from the entire staff:-) Dr. Choi and Crystal, her assistant, were totally amazing in both professionalism and in there care of me!! They were easy going and created a relaxed mood so I was very comfortable having my teeth drilled on. I highly recommend West Cape Family Dental. Update: Dr. Choi went over and beyond in the care of my mouth. She's trying to correct another Doctor's mistake. I'm very grateful to her as this is a difficult task. I can't thank her enough for her empathy and gentleness as the mouth is typically very sensitive. I believe she also used some of her own resources and although that is NEVER expected it's definitely noticed. This tells me Dr. Choi is a doctor with a lot of character and integrity. Dr. Choi's staff was also flexible and understanding with my schedule. I'm a flight attendant so when I'm working I'm literally away. Meaning out of town for the whole duration of my trip. Sometimes I'm away for two weeks. Even being busy they were always able to work with my schedule. Her employees are very warm and professional. I enjoy all of the different personalities. Some quiet, some chatty, all are authentic and represent Dr. Choi very well. I'm very grateful for the care I received. I hope the whole office know that. :-)

West Cape Family Dental went above and beyond to see my wife on short notice when she cracked a tooth. We just moved here and didn't have a dentist. The staff was wonderful as well as Dr Choi. They provided us with an affordable treatment plan which fit our budget. I highly recommend!

I was extremely disappointed after waiting two months for my appointment with the hygienist . On the day of my appointment, I expressed my fear of the dentist and said I wanted the gas for the pain of getting my teeth cleaned. I was told that was not a option for me and I had to set up another appointment for another two months for me to have the gas during my cleaning. I have never experienced this before. Anytime I have attended the dentist, this was never a problem if anyting it was an option given before I asked. Very disappointed and had to find another dentist for me and my family.

2nd time they have to replace my crown. And now it's 2 months and I still havnt gave me my reimbursement. Over a hundred dollars. And you can never get a teeth cleaning . And I been waiting over 3 months. They said maybe next year. That's rediclius

I love this dentist office. I never feel rushed. Doctor Izaguirre is attentive and happy to answer any questions. He also is patient and goes the extra mile gladly to address my sensitivities. The office staff is kind, the assistants are friendly, and the hygienists are thorough. I feel blessed to have found them, as the last city I lived in took four tries for a good dentist office. Highly recommended these guys!

Great Dental Office , the minute you walk in they welcome you with a smile! Happy staff working there! Dr. Choi and her assistant were amazing , they took the time to take care of my dental issue and I'm looking forward for my next appointment :)Highly recommended !

Went there 6 months ago I have dental insurance. I received a procedure and was told I would have to pay until they got money from my insurance. I paid, about two weeks later I got notice from my insurance company that they were paid in full. I called and they said yes they got reimbursement will refund my payment. Here we are two months later and numerous calls and still no check?

Dr. Choi is terrific. So is her staff and especially Dayna . Was nervous about going to a new dentist but everyone was very friendly and helpful. Did not have to wait long to get an appointment.

They are all so very nice, gentle, ,and so caring. Not so frightened anymore. I WILL be back when needed not like the past where I didn't go, love this place
