I'm still giving this practice three stars, only because everyone was really really nice except for the first dentist that I saw. His bedside manner is not the best. He asked how long it's been since I've been to a dentist and when I said 5 years he immediately said that I need deep root cleaning without even looking in my mouth. I am meticulous about my teeth, I'm a dental flossaholic, and hand scale any tartar on my teeth weekly with dental instruments. Then, the dental assistant was the one who pointed out to the dentist that I have a tooth that had a root canal and never had a crown put on, which I was not aware of. He didn't catch it when looking at the X-rays. They made an appointment for 3 weeks later for the first deep cleaning and I asked him to numb my mouth. He rubbed the numbing gel on my gums, didn't even give it time to work, and started injecting the needles into my gums even after I asked him to wait. Then when I made some noises because it was so painful, he stopped and kind of in a disgusted tone said 'What?' They scheduled me for three weeks later for the other half of my mouth deep cleaning and I requested a different dentist. He was awesome. Very personable, funny, attentive. But it seemed like every appointment that I needed is 3 weeks apart. So I started with them in early August and by end of October I still needed a crown put on. After having my tooth prepped for the crown, a dental assistant is the one who made my temporary crown and put it on. I told her it felt really small and she said it was okay. But I still have it on and it is too small because I have a gap on each side of that tooth between the tooth next to it and food is getting stuck in there all the time. I called my insurance and told him I did not want to go back and I am choosing a different dental office now. Even though I paid for the crown, it's not worth it for me to go back because I have no confidence at all in most of the work that I've had done there. I do want to reiterate again that everybody, with the exception of the first dentist that I saw, was so super nice and helpful.

Dentist is more concentrated on talking about his personal life with the male assistance that doing his job. He seems nice but professionalism it's his thing. Dentist is always running late. Just schedule appointments accordingly.

I have high anxiety about dentist and there procedures and lack of bed side manner,I have been butcher so many times in the past,So when I finally came across this office after having many horrible experiences from others, Last one being Blue Hill Dental in Palmdale. Almost every time I come here to West Av Dental I feel comfortable and the treatment is not harsh,the receptionist are helpful.

Excellent dentists been burned in the past by other dentist offices in the past but never had an issue here kind staff and Dr is super careful and always making sure all patients are comfortable and never in unnecessary pain or discomfort 10/10 would recommend.

And to think I thought I had found our family dentist... so conveniently close to home. But after how they treated my child I Will NOT GO BACK. If you don't have the patience or compassion to treat children then you should be listed as only adult dentistry. My child was shock to hear what this dentist utter under his breathe when he saw he was going in for service. What in the world? My child already was nervous enough going to the dentist and to hear that ... very upset with Dr. Mark so unprofessional. I do not recommend him at all.

Will be going back to have second opinion with our previous dentist..because we change our dental insurance-we ended up being here.... He said my daughter have a cavity which I can't even say that it's a cavity because it's a grooves and fissures of a primary molar "k"..he even not explain or show what's the Dental xray on screen...1 dentist and 4 patients waiting to be treated in a the same 8am scheduled appointment..the receptionist near the window is the only nice person in that office.. I think they just want the money and no care of the patients. Good thing my daughter is a very good kid and not afraid of being at the clinic.

Amazing place I hate the dentist and they made me so comfortable. They do such a great job . The dr is so gentle and the lady staff there are super amazing .

Started going here about a year ago. Everyone was really friendly and very likeable. Had some work done and scheduled a regular 6 month checkup. I went in for my checkup and they had no record of my appointment. I gave them my appointment card to prove I really had an appointment, but because they had no record I was told I'd have to wait until everyone there had been waited on. Needless to say I decided to leave, had other things to do..I don't think it was fair for me to wait since I had already waited 6 months for this appointment..

Love them but I've been waiting 3+ months for insurance they sent for approval and they said 4-6 weeks I've called 5+ times and never get a call back about them figuring out what's happening. I love the office and staff -ive been there only once but Some of the other stuff is frustrating.ill be having lots of work done but it's been a struggle just talk to the person who deals with insurance....left messages and spoke once and she never called me back the next day after she said she would find out what's going on and call me next day. Bummed.

This is the BEST dental office!!!! Everyone is kind and friendly. Dr Go addressed all my concerns, answered all my questions and really listened and took note of my phobia of dentist. I have found my new dentist!!!! I will definitely refer my friends, my family and cowork to West AV Dental!!!!

My experience at West AV Dental Group is great. They are the best team the Doctors especially Dr Avo my orthodontist and staff are great !!!!! I highly recommend you to come and get your braces done here.

After spending over $3000 and 2.5 years and many miles on my care for braces, my teeth look worse then when I started with them. The office manager and new ortho are very sweet and offered to put my braces back on for free but the damage was done. They should have offered some form of refund my mouth is embarrassing. So here I am spending $5500 for Dr. Snow to fix what they couldn't and messed up. Once I went in to get my teeth cleaned and the woman cleaning my teeth was so unprofessional cursing and speaking Terrible about the dentist there. I'm not sure why he is a pretty good guy. The staff they have now are pretty amazing. I just feel like they stole my money when I did everything I needed to do on my ends and out of 2.5 year I had only missed 1 appointment.

At first I was skeptical about going here because I called in April and they told me to call at the end of the month to make an appointment for the ENdo specialist I was finally able to see the specialist May 31st and Dr. Wepsice was awesome. When I initially met him I was like he has a great sense of humor he informed me i needed a root canal and re treat. I came back that monday and he did both of them quickly and painlessly the whole time he made sure I was comfortable and could endure the pain of 2. For my retreat he found the problem the previous dentist missed the canal so It caused pain in that tooth still, but thanks to this specialist I'm good to go. Thank you also to the smile care staff for being so generous :)
