Dr. Vlad Sudacov is a graduate of the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University, and general practice residency at Hackensack UMC Mountainside Hospital. To stay up to date on the latest innovations and research in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, especially veneers, crowns, and implants, Dr. Sudacov attends continuing education courses on a regular basis. He takes pride in his meticulous attention to detail, creating healthy and beautiful smiles.
Dr. Sudacovs multi-cultural upbringing afforded him the ability to speak Russian and German fluently. As a member of the LGBT+ community, Dr. Sudacov creates a safe and welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. JR Cassidy is a graduate of the Creighton University School of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Society, and a former officer of the United States Navy, where he participated in specialty residency programs in oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Dr. Cassidy has been in private practice in the West Village for over 25 years.

Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful, also really appreciated going over my insurance with me to discuss what it covers and what I'd owe before I got anything done. Dr. Sudacov and everyone there is great, the dental hygienist gave me an incredible cleaning, getting fillings was easy. Smooth and painless all the way through.

I just switched my dentist to Dr. Sengos at West 10th Dental, and I highly recommend them. The office is intimate, clean, attractive and has a great, friendly staff. I was seen promptly and felt comfortable. Dr Sengos is terrific.

West 10th Dental provides a CoVid Safe environment with patient safety a top priority! All team members have PPE which gave me a sense of trust. I had a teeth cleaning and oral exam on this visit which left me with a happy smile! Past visits have included crowns, implants and other dental needs which were always exceptional. The hours at this practice are convenient. Scheduling is a pleasure, always accommodating to my crazy needs. Pricing reasonable. The Dentists + Dental team understand Honesty and Compassion. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Today was my second visit to West 10th Dental and I cannot express how happy I am for finding a dentist where I am treated with respect and dignity instead of being pushed into decision and tried to be sold and upsold. Every person I dealt with, from Peter (office mgr), front desk staff, hygienists and dr. Segos were more than friendly, followed covid-19 rules and respectful. After dr. Sengos did his initial examination back in December he was very straight forward with me clearly explaining what needs to be done and options available to me. He also explained that dental work I need cannot be done in one single visit nor overnight so I do not need to rush with my decision. Instead of that, he let me think about those options and referred me to orthodontist who will do free initial consultation and tell me his opinion. Hygienist's appointment today went very smooth, dr. Sengos followed up with me, Peter scheduled my next appointment in June at my convenience and even sent me an email reminding me that I have forgotten specialist's business card at the front desk and sent me all info I will need to contact him. I think this is the way to treat patients and I make them feel like a friends of family members instead of being just a number. Thank you.

I've been a patient at West 10th for close to 15 years, and I have recommended them to MANY friends over that time! The front desk staff are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I've always consulted with them when I'm considering a change in insurance coverage, and their advice has held me in good stead. I've had the same two hygienists for the entire time I've been seeing Dr. Cassidy, and it's made a real difference to have that consistency. The fact that there's been so little turnover THROUGHOUT the office in more than a decade speaks to the quality of the practice overall, and I'm so grateful to have found such capable partners in my dental care.

I was a patient for over 20 years. I always got the best dental care from Dr Cassidy but I was treated very rudely several months ago when I needed to cancel an appointment. In the past they would charge me which I understand, but this time I was told I couldn't make appointment anymore but I was welcome to call the day of and see if anything was available. It was handled in an unprofessional and rude way. Also my husband was charged for an appointment cancellation when he explained that he had an emergency surgery he had to perform. Needless to say we are no longer patients.

Dr. Sengos has been my dentist for nearly 20 years. I became his patient shortly after moving to NYC, and have received all my dental care from West 10th Dental ever since. Overall, my experience -- whether for routine maintenance or emergency incidents -- has been fantastic. JR Cassidy has been my dentist for something like 25 years now, and he's just fantastic, a superb clinician, and a great guy. The staff are lovely and helpful, and I've gotten to know the hygienists and everyone else to the point where each check up is a chance to check in with old friends. Recently I had some old crowns replaced, and I was struck by just how modern their facilities are, how up-to-date their techniques and how caring and pleasant the entire experience was. Oh, and there are two sleeping poodles you have to step around (gingerly, please) on the way to the exam rooms! This is probably the best dentist in the Village, maybe in New York City. Very highly recommended.
