My dental visit was amazing! I was able to sign up for the Perio dental plan right in the office, their plan is cheaper than most insurance plans, covers my basic needs and the staff was wonderful...I just love Wesley dental!!!!

Front desk "team" is difficult. If you have a fear of dentists they really don't care. Dent and hyg are nice. Supper understanding and attentive. Love those guys.

This is the best dentist I have ever been to. Would totally recommend this dentistry. The staff is awesome and Dr. Marshall is amazing. He always makes sure your comfortable and never in any pain. You can tell he takes great care of his staff and patients. Thank you for making me smile again with my painless new grill. My teeth look and feel great again

My wife and I moved to the area nearly 2 years ago, and just recently started searching for a great dentist in the area. After reading several Facebook posts/comments and many Google reviews, I decided to give Wesley Dental a call. Unfortunately, my experience didn't end as I hoped. I knew I was overdue for a cleaning and to complicate things more, I do not have dental insurance through my employer. Wesley Dental caught my eye as they offer a "membership plan", sponsored by Kleer. This allows cash pay patients to receive 2 cleanings per year, plus a 20% discount off any other services for one low monthly rate. I scheduled a cleaning appointment for the end of September, and verbally agreed to sign up for the membership plan. Upon arriving for my appointment, the office staff greeted me and helped me get signed in. Within a couple minutes, the hygienist called me back for x-rays and a cleaning. She took a dozen or more x-rays, and asked if I had any areas of concern. I explained one spot had some very minor, occasional sensitivity, but nothing major. After she reviewed my x-rays, she said it looked more like gum recession, and didn't see any cavities in that area. She did tell me there was one, potentially 2 cavities *starting*, but she would let the Dr. Marshall review closer. She proceeded with the cleaning. Albeit, not the most thorough cleaning I've ever had, but good nonetheless. I expected more scraping considering I hadn't been to a dentist in 2+ years, but what do I know? Then, Dr. Marshall arrives as she's finishing up. He quickly greets me and begins reviewing my x-rays. He starts calling out tooth after tooth, and talking about all the fillings I needed. Mind you, not to me, but to the hygienist. Does not explain anything at all, then tells me she will review and go over a treatment plan with me. Then, walks out of the room. As the hygienist goes back to the computer, she proceeds to tell me he found 10 (TEN) total cavities that needed fillings. I was shocked. I'm a regular coffee drinker, but I don't eat a ton of sweets or drink soda, I brush at least twice a day, and floss once a month or so. At this point, there was no time for questions, especially considering Dr. Marshall was already long gone. Never once explained anything to me or showed me an x-ray. I then go back up to the front counter where they present me with a treatment plan for 5 total visits (2 fillings each), totaling over $2000 (with the "membership plan discount", mind you). This immediately looked suspicious, and I started searching right away for a second opinion. I asked Wesley Dental to forward my x-rays and records over to another dentist, to make sure we were comparing apples to apples. Today, I visited the other dentist and was told once again, I have 1 cavity starting, and 1 to keep an eye on. More frequent flossing would likely prevent it from spreading further. Wow. 1 or 2 is very different than 10. Even the second dentist said he doesn't see 10 "by any stretch of the imagination". I have a 10 year background in the auto repair industry, and I know we, as an industry, don't have the greatest reputation. People often feel lied to, taken advantage of, and find it difficult to take their car to an honest mechanic. That's exactly how I feel about Wesley Dental. It's quite a shame that you can't trust a dentist you're spending your hard earned money at. Had I not gotten a second opinion, and proceeded to go here, I would have spent over $2000 and have 10 new (unnecessary) fillings in my mouth. 1 star for the "membership plan", and for the friendly front office staff. Beyond that, there's nothing good to say, honestly. I will most definitely be taking my family and hard earned money elsewhere.
