Dr. Wendy Musolf was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania the youngest in a family of four girls. She has lived in the D.C. Metro area off and on since 1987. There is a long history of Dentistry in her career. She started her study in dentistry in 1980 at the University of Vermont, School of Allied Health in Dental Hygiene and graduated in 1982. She practiced as a hygienist for twelve years, seven of them in the D.C. metro and Baltimore area.
In 1990, Dr. Musolf attended dental school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. She received a scholarship for her senior year from the United States Air Force and graduated in 1994 from dental school Magna Cum Laude and earned the distinction as member of the honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU). She then completed her residency in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) in Tucson, Arizona at Davis-Monthan AFB. She completed her service as a general dentist at Onizuka Air Station in Mountain View, California. After her service in the Air Force, she has been in private practice in the D.C. Metropolitan area since 1998.
Dr. Musolf most enjoys the relationships that she has with her patients and maintains an active interest in her continuing education in dentistry. She is a long standing member of the American Dental Association, Southern Maryland Dental Society, and several study clubs in the local area.

Dr. Musolf is one of the best dentists I have ever encountered. She is extremely skilled and has decades of experience. She did an AEGD in Tucson, Arizona at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and has been in private practice in the DC area since 1998. I am very particular in my expectations on restorative dental work and Dr. Musolf meets them. I am parting ways with her since our personalities don't seem to be compatible with each other but I can recommend her to anyone who is expecting outstanding dental care. Her office is in the Friendship Heights location.

Was referred to Dr. Musolf by others. Had an excellent experience, both with the office staff, who are polite and very thorough, and with Dr. Musa herself who is personable, professional, and an exceptional clinician. Very pleased with my initial visit and will be back. Highly recommend.

Update for August 2020: I have visited Dr. Musolf's office during the COVID-19 pandemic and felt completely comfortable being in the office. It is very apparent that the entire staff is committed to their patient's and each other's safety, while still providing a great experience. Dr. Musolf and her team are exceptional. The staff are friendly, professional, and you can tell that they do truly care about the patients. Dr. Musolf is thorough, gentle, and I appreciate that she takes her work very seriously, but is always lighthearted when chatting with me. I highly recommend Dr. Musolf and her team!

Dr. Musolf and her team are the cream of the crop! I feel especially fortunate to be a patient of theirs during the pandemic - I have been to several doctors' offices during the pandemic, and their office was by far the most thorough in terms of taking precautions against COVID-19. Huge thanks!

My experience with Dr. Musolf's was exceptional, particularly because I have not had the best experiences in the past. The Dr was very thorough and the assistant I think her name is Carla, she was very attentive and could sense I still had some nerves getting the best of me. The patient care coordinator Kim, took time to follow up with me the next day and see how I was feeling after my treatment. Thank you to your whole team for making this my first positive dental experience.

Your new dental hygienist, Victoria, is very good. Also, when Dr. Musolf encourages me to continue wearing my braces at night, it helps me to know there's a good reason to do it. To me it's daunting to know I have to do it for the rest of my life. I will probably need a new pep talk in a couple years.
