Dr. Wendy Lu has celebrated her 24th year of her dental career. In her earlier years of practice associating with several established dentists in the Silicon Valley, she had a vision to create a unique dental practice where her patients would feel at home.
Dr. Lu graduated from University of California, San Francisco, in 1994.Dr. Luhas acquired hundreds of hours of Continuing Education at numerous advanced learning facilities, including the prestigious world-class Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. She has employed the equipment and concepts of Neuromuscular Dentistry since 2003 and has helped hundreds of patients with extensive dental needs including Temporomandibular Disorders. While advancing towards cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, Dr. Lu continues to deliver routine and much needed basic dentistry to her patients of all ages and different needs.
Dr. Lu participates in several volunteering activities, giving dentistry to the disadvantaged and less fortunate groups who cannot otherwise afford the highest quality dentistry. One of her volunteerism is Dentists with a Heart, a free dentistry program coordinated by Santa Clara County Dental Society, for children from low-income families during the week of Valentine's Day. She also had donated dentistry to Donated Dental Services (DDS) whose clients included those from the Delaney Foundation in San Francisco.
Mother of two daughters, ages28 and 19, Dr. Lu communicates and works effectively with children and adolescents, changing even the most apprehensive children into the most delighted patients who look forward to their next visits. Her most popular hitsare balloon animals given as prizes after dental treatment.
As an amateur pianist, Dr. Lu accompanies the choir at Home of Christas well as numerous vocalists and chamber musicians in the Bay Area. She looks into recording and recitals after retirement from dentistry in the future. Her musical background also contributed to the calm and inviting atmosphere in her office. Many of her patients have enjoyed her performance at several recitals.

I've been going to Dr. Lu for over 10 years now and felt like it was time to write a review. She's very thorough and friendly and will be truthful about what's going right or wrong with your teeth. Maria the hygienest is also great and very good about getting your teeth as white as possible!

Today we visited this dental clinic for the first time, my five-year-old child was scared and resisted so she screamed, which was considered inappropriate by Dr. Lu, so the doctor held her face and yelled at least 2 To 3 times: You can't do this! It's awful! This is completely different from the online comments that Dr. Lu is patient with children, and it actually happened.

I had a very nice visit with Dr. Lu. She gave consultation and did not pressure one into any decision. I had to extract a tooth, after the local anesthetic, I did not even feel the jab and the whole procedure was rather comfortable. More so, she is fun and cheerful! I strongly recommended her.

It's a great dental clinic for my family. Both my kids visit Dr. Lu's clinic regularly and we all enjoy the service very much. Dr Tiffany is great with young children. No waiting as long as you arrive on time for your appointment. My regular check up and cleaning takes less than 40 minutes. The receptionist is very helpful, and you can ask about insurance cover and confirmed straightaway.

I have been a patient of Lifetime Dental Care for many years. Dr. Wendy Lu is a very competent and caring dentist, and everyone who works in the office genuinely cares for their patients. They not only take care of my teeth when I have a problem but also teach/educate me how to maintain them so that I can have healthy teeth, which I appreciate a lot. This is one dentist and dental office I highly recommend.
