Bio: After earning his degree in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Wendel established his family practice in Vancouver, Washington. His goal is to achieve excellence in professional care, represented in a manner that reflects the utmost respect and consideration for the patient. For over 40 years, this philosophy has allowed Wendel Family Dental Centre to become a leading provider of quality dental care in Clark County, and has earned Dr. Wendel a reputation that has reached beyond Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest.
Bio: Dr. Youssef received his undergraduate degree from Portland State University where he obtained a bachelors degree in Organismal Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He later attended OHSU and earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Throughout his studies he received multiple Letters of Commendation.Dr. Youssef had quite the sweet tooth growing up. When a dentist restored both his smile and his self-confidence, dentistry became a passion for him. Dr. Youssef listens to his patients concerns and addresses them with compassion and empathy. He doesnt simply treat patients; he also helps them understand their role in the proactive prevention of dental disease.He continues to keep his training and knowledge up to date by taking numerous continuing education courses. His philosophy is based on evidence-based dentistry and patient centered care.
Bio: Dr. Demian Woyciehowsky was born in California and raised in Northern Nevada. After high school, he attended Arizona State University and The University of Nevada, Reno for his undergraduate years and obtained a B.A. in History and a B.S. in Biology. After earning these degrees, Dr. Woyciehowsky attended dental school at UNLV.
Dr. Woyciehowsky enjoys swimming, hiking, camping, skiing, traveling, reading historical books, and cooking as well as eating the delicious product with his wife Marcela and dog Scarlett. It is for these reasons that Dr. Woyciehowsky relocated from the dry, dusty desert of Nevada to the Pacific Northwest as it offers unparalleled green scenery and opportunities to get out and be active.
Bio: Shelly obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1988 at Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry. She has been with Wendel Family Dental Centre since 1988 and is our managing hygienist. She has a special interest in providing periodontal treatment.
Bio: Jenna has completed her schooling and is excited to move from her role as a dental assistant into a career as a dental hygienist. In Jennas off time she enjoys white water rafting, kayaking, skydiving, traveling and exploring the Washington and Oregon coasts. Some of Jennas other interests in her time off are cooking, sharing a meal with family, friends and her cat Charlie.
Bio: Paulette was born and raised in Vancouver, Wa. She completed her Dental Hygiene degree in 1998 at Clark College. Paulette truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats. She especially feels accomplished when she can make people with previous negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy to be receiving care.

Dr Kris, and her whole team, go above and beyond for our whole family. They explain every procedure well and put my kids right at ease. We have been going here for years and are thankful for such amazing care!

Dr Kris is a wonderful dentist! I had my 2 front teeth crowned as a teen for cosmetic reasons. I never liked how it looked. Over the years I saw many orthodontists and dentist but they all said my bite didn't have room to close my gaps. Dr Kris along with Modern Orthodontist helped me redo them and they look amazing! I finally have a beautiful smile! I get so many compliments. Dr Kris takes her time, listens and supported me through the whole process as I was very nervous! I can't say enough good things about her.

When walking into Nova Family Dental office you can see everyone there is like family to each other. Every time I came in for my appointments, I am always welcomed with smiles. Everyone there is super nice and helpful. I've been seeing Dr. Kris for years and she always takes really good care of my teeth and always give the best recommendations. I would recommend Dr. Kris and her team to anyone who's looking for a trusting dental office.

Our family has been coming to this wonderful dental clinic for many years. Dr Chris and her long time staff are like family to us now. She is a skilled, kind, and personable dentist who is very fair and reasonable in her recommendations. We will keep coming to her as long as we still need care of our teeth. I have been coming here for many years. The staff is friendly and professional. The warmth of Dr. Christine is amazing. She is so kind and mindful of what her patients need. She is always fair and reasonable with her recommendations. Medial billing is exceptional as well. All claims are processed dependably and I am never surprised with my copays. One hallmark to a great dental practice is loyal staff and most have been with her for years. It shows how well this practice runs. I recommend to all my friends. The dental hygienists are also very good. Very happy with this place!

Dentist is highly skilled! Had my cavities filled here and everything was painless, even the numbing needlestick. Service was prompt, I didn't have to wait around. Many dentists unfortunately do not take patient comfort seriously so I definitely recommend!

I recommend Dr Kris for all dental experiences. I've traveled throughout the country and have seen many dentists. Nothing compares to the staff, the experience and the Doctor. Dr. Kris is gentle, kind and worked with me on everything I came to her with. Concerns, questions, nerves, dental insurance. I won't go anywhere else. I highly recommend the Hygientist. I've seen them all. They're all fabulous.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kris Pham for almost 20 years. I have been very happy with the care Dr. Kris has provided. Her staff is awesome. Dr. Kris has a gift to calm someone with high anxiety. She listens to the concerns I may have and very thorough with her work. The Professionalism of Dr. Kris and her staff is top notch.

I have been going to this location for many years. Service is always wonderful. All staff members are very kind, welcoming and professional. Very child friendly, they always give fun little toys for the kids, there are children's books for kids to read, and extra dental goodie bags! I personally want to thank Dr. Kris for years of amazing dental care for my family and I, and I hope for many more years to come!

Had a cavity filled between tooth 4 & 5, and about 6 weeks later had excruciating pain in both teeth. Was told it was possibly just normal sensitivity but also could be inflamed. I was given sensitivity toothpaste, found no relief. I moved back to Idaho in the interim and saw my old dentist. He said that my fillings were a bit too deep and caused pulpitis. I had to have two root canals, one of which is now failing and is scheduled for extraction. Obviously this is very upsetting. I know this can happen, but it is still frustrating to hear that the fillings looked to be too deep.

I have been her patient for several years. Without a doubt, she is the most caring and professional dentist I have ever had. She is thorough, communicates on a layman's level and provides care gently, which is most appreciated. I would give her and her a staff a sixth star if it were available.
