Bio: After earning his degree in dental medicine from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Wendel established his family practice in Vancouver, Washington. His goal is to achieve excellence in professional care, represented in a manner that reflects the utmost respect and consideration for the patient. For over 40 years, this philosophy has allowed Wendel Family Dental Centre to become a leading provider of quality dental care in Clark County, and has earned Dr. Wendel a reputation that has reached beyond Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest.
Bio: Dr. Youssef received his undergraduate degree from Portland State University where he obtained a bachelors degree in Organismal Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He later attended OHSU and earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Throughout his studies he received multiple Letters of Commendation.Dr. Youssef had quite the sweet tooth growing up. When a dentist restored both his smile and his self-confidence, dentistry became a passion for him. Dr. Youssef listens to his patients concerns and addresses them with compassion and empathy. He doesnt simply treat patients; he also helps them understand their role in the proactive prevention of dental disease.He continues to keep his training and knowledge up to date by taking numerous continuing education courses. His philosophy is based on evidence-based dentistry and patient centered care.
Bio: Dr. Demian Woyciehowsky was born in California and raised in Northern Nevada. After high school, he attended Arizona State University and The University of Nevada, Reno for his undergraduate years and obtained a B.A. in History and a B.S. in Biology. After earning these degrees, Dr. Woyciehowsky attended dental school at UNLV.
Dr. Woyciehowsky enjoys swimming, hiking, camping, skiing, traveling, reading historical books, and cooking as well as eating the delicious product with his wife Marcela and dog Scarlett. It is for these reasons that Dr. Woyciehowsky relocated from the dry, dusty desert of Nevada to the Pacific Northwest as it offers unparalleled green scenery and opportunities to get out and be active.
Bio: Shelly obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 1988 at Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry. She has been with Wendel Family Dental Centre since 1988 and is our managing hygienist. She has a special interest in providing periodontal treatment.
Bio: Jenna has completed her schooling and is excited to move from her role as a dental assistant into a career as a dental hygienist. In Jennas off time she enjoys white water rafting, kayaking, skydiving, traveling and exploring the Washington and Oregon coasts. Some of Jennas other interests in her time off are cooking, sharing a meal with family, friends and her cat Charlie.
Bio: Paulette was born and raised in Vancouver, Wa. She completed her Dental Hygiene degree in 1998 at Clark College. Paulette truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats. She especially feels accomplished when she can make people with previous negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy to be receiving care.
