Dr. Jesse Welsh is the proud owner of Welsh Family Dentistry. He takes a conservative approach to dentistry and he spends significant time with each patient because he wants to get to know each person on a personal level. Understanding as much as possible about each patients oral health goals helps him create optimal individualized treatment plans. He also strives to help patients understand the reasons for their treatment.
Dr. Welsh grew up in middle Tennessee and is proud to call it home. At the age of 12, after spending quite a bit of time shadowing a local dentist, he decided that dentistry was the career for him. After completing high school and his undergraduate studies, Dr. Welsh moved to Memphis to attend the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and graduated in the top of his class earning the Deans Award for Clinical Excellence which is awarded to one graduate per year.
Dr. Welsh was then commissioned as an Officer in the United States Air Force and moved to St. Louis, Missouri to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Scott Air Force Base where he was ranked number one in his class. During this time, Dr. Welsh received one-on-one training with dental specialists where he learned to complete advanced cases including removal of impacted wisdom teeth, IV sedation, root canals, and implants.
After his residency, Dr. Welsh spent another three years in the Air Force before deciding to separate from full-time active duty and return home to Tennessee. Dr. Welsh continues his military service part-time in the Tennessee Air National Guard.
Dr. Welsh has been married to his wife Marissa for 12 years and they have three wonderful children. When hes not practicing dentistry, Dr. Welsh is busy participating in various activities with his family.

We have been seeing Dr. Welsh for a few years now and absolutely love it! I am able to take all 3 of my kids and myself to have our teeth cleaned at the same time and they help with them as if they were their own. I love the family atmosphere, the ladies in the office, and Dr. Welsh is incredibly smart! I trust his opinions and know he always the patients best interest!

I started coming to Dr Welsh a few years ago after having the same dentist for 45 years. Loved that dentist but he retired and the dentist who took over his practice had the personality of a fence post. He also broke one of my teeth after gouging on it the day before. This happened on a Thursday and his practice was closed on Fridays. So I called Dr Welsh and even though I was a totally new patient, he saw me and repaired my tooth within two hours of my call. Needless to say, he is now my dentist and my whole family sees him as well. He is friendly, professional, and very skilled. His staff has always been a pleasure to deal with as well, whether it's office staff or a hygienist. I recommend Dr Welsh to everyone who asks me who my dentist is and highly recommend him to anyone who reads this!

I'm a new patient of theirs but I was thrilled with the treatment I received. They were thorough and I didn't feel pressured to buy or go with treatments I didn't want. Which I've heard of dentist offices doing. Plus they were patient with my two small children when they got fussy. I'm so glad I found them!

Love this place! The staff are all amazing. I have super sensitive teeth/gums and severe TMJ, so I am not a fan of the dentist! But this team is gentle, understanding and always make my trips less stressful. Thanks for the wonderful service as always!

These folks are amazing! I recommend them often! Great customer service; the staff is so down-to-earth and friendly. Dr. Welsh has a great bedside manner and is always so nice. I'd give them 10 stars if possible!
