After working for many years as an early childhood educator and advocate, Alicia joined the Wellwood family in 2020. Though children certainly hold a special place in her heart, Alicia enjoys working with patients of all ages on the many details that make their experience at Wellwood Family Dentistry as comfortable as possible. Alicia offers every patient and family personalized attention to optimize their dental experience. A Baltimorean for most of her life, Alicia lives locally with her husband, centrally located to their grown children, with whom they could never spend too much time.
Joining the Wellwood Family in 2020, Shannon brings over 7 years of dental insurance and treatment planning experience. Her main goal each day is to make sure all patients are getting the most use out of their insurance benefits. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, brunch, and watching independent films.
Miriam joined our Wellwood Family in 2013 as the front desk receptionist. In 2015, Miriam transitioned to working as our dental hygienist. Miriam graduated from the University of Maryland dental hygiene program in 2012. Miriam lives in the area with her husband and four children. In her time away from the office, Miriam enjoys spending time with her family.
Nomi has been a dental hygienist for 4 years, joining the Wellwood team in 2021. She and her husband are the parents of two adorable little girls. Although much of her time is spent cleaning people's teeth, she also enjoys interior design and decorating..
Virhinia has over 15 years of experience in dentistry, working with children and adults. Virhinia will help you feel at ease and ensure that your visit is pleasant. She has a passion for helping people and for making sure they feel great about their smile. Virhinia is a mom of three beautiful daughters, and she enjoys traveling, theater, shopping, white water rafting, and motherhood.
We are glad to welcome Amber to the Wellwod Family as of 2021. Amber has over 8 years of dental assisting experience. She has a passion to help others. What she loves most about dentistry is creating a great experience for the patients and seeing people smile. She is raising two amazing teenagers, who keep her young. In her free time, she loves to do any and all things real estate.
Tikki is a proud native Baltimorean. After earning her B.A. in Psychology from Towson University, she met the love of her life and began a journey that took her to California, Israel, Florida, Texas, and Michigan. Tikki attended the Michigan Dental Assisting School in 2019. She returned to Baltimore in 2020 with her husband and three children and joined our team in October as a Dental Assistant. She loves unpacking boxes, traveling, and relaxing on a beach any chance she gets.
Dr. Edo Lavi is a graduate of UMDNJ Dental School (now Rutgers) and NYU Post Graduate School of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. After graduating with honors from the University of Dentistry and Medicine of New Jersey, Dr. Lavi was a general practice resident at Long Island College Hospital, where he gained a deeper appreciation of dental treatment in the context of greater overall health and quality of life. He became experienced with medically compromised and handicapped patients, as well as severe head and neck trauma emergencies.
The following year, Dr. Lavi became chief resident at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. During that year, he had the opportunity to research, publish, and lecture on the topic of sleep apnea, which had just begun to gain recognition.
After once again graduating from NYU orthodontic school with honors in 2003, Dr. Lavi established his office in Israel. He felt truly blessed to be one of the few members of the American Association of Orthodontics to practice orthodontics in Israel at the highest level until relocating to Maryland in the fall of 2019.

This place made me feel like I had yuck mouth. I do admit. It's was years since I had seen a dentist. But that doesn't mean I wasn't brushing and flossing doing them year either. The min I told them that. I felt like I should have just kept it to myself. I too grown and responsible of an adult for another adult to tell me how bad it's is that I did that. Without even asking what happened. No worries. Won't be going back. And the customer service at the desk, I would compare it to check it a mortuary. Cold and stiff.

Besides phenomenal personal service and offering Invisalign (which has been amazing in and of itself), Wellwood Family Dentistry is an incredible one-stop-shop for all our dental needs. I appreciate the purposefully synchronized timing of multiple services in one visit - instead of requiring separate appointments. I'm always impressed by the team's efficiency and the smooth hand-off from prep, to exam, to cleaning, to the orthodontist... it is quite remarkable to see how well this team works together and delivers excellent service to their patients.

Wellwood is an outstanding dental office. They take care of every kind of dental need. They really care about every patient and go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and taken care of. I have had routine care and dental surgery at Wellwood and have always had good results. You should try them out yourself.

Everyone at Wellwood dental are very nice I truly enjoyed the way they treated me they ,,explain-and they let me know in detail the different procedures and helped me to understand if I was doing something right or if I was doing something wrong as far as keeping up my teeth it's one place that you can go to where you don't have to feel embarrassed because some dentist make you feel uncomfortable for being there but not this place I recommend you try Wellwood Dental .

My family has been going to Dr. E at Wellwood since we moved to Baltimore about four years ago -- for both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. The kids actually ENJOY going to the dentist so much that, after not going myself for more years than I care to admit, I finally made myself an appointment. The entire staff treated me with kindness and absolutely no judgment towards the fact that I hadn't kept up with my cleanings recently. This is an absolutely amazing practice!

Naomi was so reassuring and gentle, she put me right at ease! I had an impeccable experience at the practice, starting from the reception I received to the exam from the dental provider. I made an appointment on a recommendation from a friend and I will be recommending them in turn!

My visit to Wllwood Family Dentistry was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and made my experience pleasant. Becca the dental assistant was the BEST. Dr. Einbinder was the BEST too, he explained every part of the process while he examined my teeth and even talked about next steps to my dental care that were easy to understand. I cannot forget Alisha (hope I am spelling her name correctly) at the front desk, she was so professional and helpful right up until the day of my appointment. Thank you to all of them, this is a review that is well deserved!!

What a phenomenal experience. My first time at the office and I felt like I've been a patient forever. From the front office (Alicia and Shannon) to the back (Tikki,, Becca & Miriam) hygiene staff to Dr. E. As far as having to go to the dentist goes, you can't go wrong!! I strongly recommend!!!
