Demetress L Davis, DDS MDSCis a native of Augusta, GA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the Medical College of Georgia and practiced as a licensed Dental Hygienist in the Atlanta area. Demetress dental degree was completed at Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry. She attended the University of Connecticut Health Sciences Center, Department of Endodontology, where she received her Masters in Dental Sciences and certificate in Endodontology. Demetress has worked in the dental field for 25 years, including 8 years in Endodontics. For the past four years, she has been providing endodontic services for patients of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York. Demetress has published original research, Barriers to Dental Care for Older Minority Adults, in the journal of Special Care in Dentistry. She is an active member of the National Dental Association and American Association of Endodontics. Demetress is Board Eligible and currently working towards becoming a Diplomate of the American Association of Endodontics.
Demetress L. Davis is a member of the 1st Church of the Living God under the pastorate of Bishop Jesse J. White, Jr. and Elder Lorraine White. She is a leader in the Grief Share (Bereavement) ministry and member of the Womens Ministry. Past experiences in conjunction with her faith and trust in God and compassion for the underserved population, Demetress is devoted to creating a Christ-centered, delightful, and inspiring impression, making a difference in the lives of her patients that is authentic and bountiful. Empowered by the Holy Spirits guidance, leadership & counsel, she strives to create a positive, joyous and peaceful sanctuary that provides compassionate and relaxing experiences for all patients to alleviate their individual fears, assure quality care and fulfill the needs of their personal well-being. She makes provisions to continue building a reputation of being able to provide endodontic experiences so full of love, gentleness, and humility that everyone will be overjoyed with the excellence of their experience!

Receptionist is very rude. No one answers the phone, when call was returned, said there was a waiting list. No info on how long the wait is. I was referred by my dentist to this place and she just wanted me to go somewhere else. The Dr may be amazing, but the office woman is not.

I cant rave enough about Wellspring- Dr. Davis and staff- and the great experience I had in all details of the procedure, including the cost which is the most reasonable in the State of Ct. Hands down Dr. Davis is who I will refer family and friends to go to if they need a root canal and it is worth the drive from no matter where they are in CT.

These guys did an amazing job, very quick and painless. I was so nervous coming in the door cause it was my first root canal ever and I walked out calm as ever. The staff was so kind and very professional. Not an ounce of pain and I basically fell asleep in process. Thanks guys for the best experience I could have asked for!

From the moment I called this office, I was surprised by how patient, understanding and nice they all were! The woman who made the apt, was professional and so amazing. The dentist just as amazing! It's hard to find people who don't judge based on your financial situation, insurance situation or just in general. This office never judged me, was so accommodating and I really can't say enough about this practice! The dentist is the sweetest, as is the hygienist as is the receptionist! And the office was super clean!! I even went as far as to email them after I first spoke to receptionist to let the dr know how amazing she was over the phone!

Dr. Davis was both excellent and professional. Her excellent bedside manner helped to put me at ease, and she clearly explained all of what was going on and how to care for my tooth both pre-and-post procedure. My tooth split in half two days before the root canal (my fault!) and she arranged for me to be able to see the proper person to get that repaired ASAP after my root canal, so that we can still save my tooth. She's also an incredibly kind person who is serving the community at the sacrifice of a 'better paycheck' - she doesn't turn people away if she can, and she accepts all insurances, even the ones that don't pay as well.

I Love this place. I was so comfortable. I still can't believe a double root canal and I had no pain after. Everyone in the office is so nice. Dr is absolutely wonderful. I highly reccomend this office. I told my whole family to go here if they need any work done.

Clean and comfortable waiting area. Friendly and professional staff. I was there for an evaluation of one damaged tooth. The x-ray and evaluation helped me understand the condition of my tooth and what needed to be done. I'm very pleased with my visit to Wellsprings Endodontics.

Demetress was an absolute sweetheart and put me at ease. Getting root canals is never a fun experience but Ms. Davis made it as enjoyable as a root canal can be. She pointed out everything to me making sure I understood procedures and what was going on. Very happy I made the right decision choising Demetress for my procedure. Will be back in 6 months!!
