Michael Buchler, DMD, graduated from Oregon State University in Biochemistry and Biophysics in 1998, and Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry in 2004. Since then, he has continued his education by taking hundreds of hours of professional courses to keep up with current trends, technologies, and advancements in dentistry.
Dr. Buchler takes pride not just in the quality of dentistry he practices, but also the quality of his patients experiences. He places special attention on the office environment, staff, and technologies that make coming to the dentist more comfortable, and even fun.
Dr. Buchler and his wife, Dr. Amy Buchler, are proud parents of 4 children. When hes not in the office, he stays active with family activities, including hiking, golf, and day and overnight road trips to family favorites Monterey, Carmel, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe.

I had some great procedures at Wellspring Dental. The work is always good and the staff excellent. However this year Wellspring decided to drop my insurance carrier. That's all fine and good except this dentist did my root canal without telling me that from now on I wasn't covered. He drilled and filled my tooth. They scheduled the crown, and not once thought they should bring up this fact. They KNEW the rest of the process was not going to be in network for them but didn't bother to tell me. I received an email which was lost in my inbox, but the way I found out was a phone call the day RIGHT before my appointment. I had to schedule time off from work for this and now that is completely wasted. Now I have to find a new dentist who might give me the decency of a heads up next time.

The practice is clean and the people are super nice. I'm kind of put off though, because when I was in college my dentist told me I had another cavity to fill after several fillings already. I told her I don't have the money to fill another. After college I moved to California and saw a new dentist and she said I didn't have any cavities. So I'm skeptical of the other fillings. Just be careful and maybe get a second opinion.

First time at 60+ age continually having a positive experience with dentists and staff I fully trust. Just wish I had found them so much sooner. Would have saved myself so much pain and heartache. Atmosphere is always warm caring and upbeat. A+++++++

I Absolutely LOVE my new dentist Dr. Whalen and my hygienist Toni! Wellspring Dental is by far the most friendliest, cleanest, they take their time with you throughout your visit, they are very informative & educate you during your visit. I am so happy now! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WELLSPRING DENTAL!

Caring and they use the safest procedures to protect the patients and themselves. People should keep their appointments and stay on track with their dental care through this covid 19 mess. Dr Kelly Whellan and Dr Chan are good. Hygienist was great too. I have had caps done and fillings done here and all were done great.

I've been a patient at Wellspring Dental for the last 10 years and I will never go to another provider! They have a fantastic staff and provide amazing care. I feel like I am seeing a group of friends every time I go in for an appointment.

The staff at Wellspring Dental are always extremely friendly and welcoming. They have also implemented extra careful new practices to deal with COVID-19 concerns. I felt perfectly comfortable and safe during my cleaning with Toni and Dr. Whalen.

I have recently became a patient at wellspring and have had a wonderful experience. I came into the office with existing dental complications but they took me right in and corrected all of my issues. Took a few tries but they never gave up until it was corrected for me. Staff is great, very friendly, caring. Will definitely recommend them.
