Bangelle was born in Brooklyn, New York, and moved to Florida with her family when she was 11 years old. (When you hear her cheerful voice on the phone, she probably will be using her nickname, which is Bri.) She has two brothers and two sisters and loves to spend time with her niece and two nephews who live nearby. Bangelle graduated from Wiregrass Ranch High School in 2018 and began her undergraduate studies at Pasco-Hernandez State College the same year. She is an accomplished basketball player who also enjoys playing ... wait for it ... flag football! Her diverse ambitions include studying fashion design at The Tampa Art Institute and pursuing the study of pediatric neurology at USF. Bangelle already knows MUCH more about pediatric neurology than most people do because she was born with hydrocephalus. Timely diagnosis and treatment, including over seven years of close care from a talented team of physicians, neurosurgeons and neurologists, has enabled Bangelle to accomplish much so far -- and has equipped her to accomplish much more in her bright future. In the meantime, we will keep her busy answering phones and greeting patients at Wells Endodontics for as long as we can!

Johnny, a retired civil engineer, is also Dr. Wells father. Starting with the design and construction of the Wells Endodontics office building in 2006, he has been lending a hand with his sons endodontics practice from time to time. In addition to keeping up with building maintenance, Johnny has been adapting his engineering skills to the dental field. That comes in handy when theres a dental equipment maintenance issue, when any of the 21 computers in the office go down, or when another technical problem threatens to interrupt the smooth workflow thats so important to quality patient care. As the father of nine and (so far) grandfather of 17, Johnny enjoys his new-found life of leisure by taking full advantage of living between the beach and Disney World!

Trained as a dental assistant in the US Air Force, Vern brings a wealth of relevant experience with him to Wells Endodontics. The time he was assigned to MacDill Air Force Base (1986-1996) was interrupted in 1990 and 1991 for service as part of Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Although this Baltimore native has travelled extensively, he remains a loyal supporter of the two pro football teams he grew up with, (now named) The Ravens and The Washington Football Team. So far, Dr. Wells repeated attempts to convert Vern to a fan of Tom Brady and The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have failed. Completely. In his spare time, Vern enjoys working out, going to the beach and snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico.

Payton is one of the special people who really is a Florida Native. Today she lives in (and owns) the same house in Plant City where she was born and raised. Her blended familysome of whom live in Virginia nowincludes one brother, two step-brothers and two step-sisters.

Shortly after graduating from Strawberry Crest High School in 2015, Payton attended the Dental Assisting Institute in Pinellas Park, FL. For five or six years after graduating (before deciding to work exclusively for Wells Endodontics...), Payton worked as a temp at a variety of specialty dental offices in the area. It was while volunteering her time and talent with Florida Mission of Mercy that she developed her preference for working in dental specialty offices. In those free, large-scale, two-day professional dental clinics (set up each year in one of the numerous different fairgrounds around the state), Payton learned firsthand that sometimes full-mouth extractions are the only viable option for those underserved and uninsured Floridians who may never before have been seen by a dentist. Wells Endodontics is fortunate to have such a compassionate person helping to take great care of our patients.

Much of Paytons spare time is taken up now by her son, Hayden, who was born in 2020. However, she also shares other interests with Haydens father, David, who is an experienced heavy equipment mechanic. Growing up around machinery and mechanics, Payton acquired the unusual hobby of rebuilding internal combustion engines! For their latest joint project, building an airboat, Payton rebuilt an old air boat engine from the block up...and left the easy parts for David.

I've never had shots in the roof of the mouth area that were UNDETECTABLE! I couldn't believe it. I thought there was some new technology for the numbing shots, but nope, she was just THAT good! Now I did feel the last shot, which was farther to the back, but even that one was still much less painful than the least painful shot I'd ever received, ever. I get so much anxiety with dental procedures. Everyone was so friendly, from the Dr to the receptionist, they made me feel I was getting excellent care and that I was comfortable.

Dr Wells and his staff were absolutely amazing, especially when you hate having anything done to your teeth. Dr Wells made sure that I was comfortable before doing the root canal and then serenaded me the whole time while doing procedure. The girls all were very patient and kind. I would highly recommend this office! Oh and the best part was they have windows in their procedure rooms that have a stand for squirrels and birds to feed right in front of you, which made you relax while watching the squirrels feast.

The most amazing place I have ever been too!!! I had a root canal at a different place and it was horrible so I went in thinking I was going to be mistreated again but everyone was so nice and caring and really wanted to make sure I was at ease. If you take anything away from this review; know that you are in good hands and they will save your tooth!

The absolute best experience I have ever had when going to a dentist. I was referred to Wells Endodontics by my regular dentist to get a root canal done. From the very nice and friendly staff, to the high tech equipment onsite, including a massaging chair(while I was getting my root canal) to the professionalism and great sense of humor of the doctor (young lady) who did the root canal, my experience was just amazing. Wish they were my regular dentist. And get this, days later I received a call from the same doctor to ensure I was ok and doing well post root canal. Had not had a doctor do that in a very long time. I Definitely recommend them again and again.
