Dr. Han Vu attended UCSF School of Dentistry and received her dental degree in 2008. After working as an associate for several years in California she decided to move to the Pacific Northwest with her husband.
Dr. Vu's emphasis is on preventive dentistry for all ages. She has implemented a Caries Management By Risk Assessment (CAMBRA) protocol at her practice to helpassess her patients risk for cavities and provide a preventive and minimallyinvasive approach to dental health care. She believes it is her job to give her patient's the tools to successfully maintain a healthy smile.
Aside from being a dentist and a wife, Dr. Vu is also a mother of two. When she has any free time, it is spent with her husband, son and daughter at local farmers markets, playing in the park, hiking, and enjoying all the delicious food that Portland has to offer. Especially donuts! And yes, she brushes after she eats her favorite treat.
Dr. Casey grew up in Wenatchee Washington, but has called Portland home since her acceptance to OHSU School ofDentistry in2011. She was originally drawn to dentistry because of the unique combination of art and science, but it is working with patients that has made the career so fulfilling. Her passion is empowering patients with the knowledge and skills to make educated decisions about their oral health, focusing on prevention to help minimize the need for invasive dental treatments. When Dr. Casey isn't at the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well astraveling, hiking, biking, skiing, or exploring the local food and craft brewery scene.
Tonya was born in Portland, OR and raised in Bend, OR. She moved to Seattle, WA after high school where she completed dental assisting school. Since then she has moved back to Portland and found her true passion in office management. When she is away from the office she enjoys camping, traveling when possible and spending time with friends and family.
Sara was born in Clackamas, OR and raised in Gladstone, OR. She graduated from Gladstone High School in 2008 and went straight into a dental assisting program at Concorde Career College in Portland, Or. She graduated from there and has been working as a Dental assistant for the last nine years, with Dr. Vu the last two. Working with Dr. Vu has been a wonderful learning experience and has inspired and influenced the kind of provider she is now and would like to be in the future. She is currently in the process of completing prerequisitesto enter into a Dental Hygiene program. Outside of work Sara enjoys spending time cooking, biking, camping, and enjoying time with her boyfriend Andrew, their two cats, and friends.
