When you understand this connection, you are empowered to improve your overall health! As an example of the whole-body health approach, our Idaho Falls dental team looks beyond the mere elimination of disease to the restoration of the natural form and function of your teeth. Our Idaho Falls dental team will help you achieve the dental health you have always wanted and help you maintain optimal healthfor life. No matter the condition you start in, we support health and healing by assessing areas of infection or decay, periodontal condition, risk factors, heredity, breakdown and/or possible toxicity of existing dental materials, functional abnormalities (Digestion, TMJ, and Sleep Apnea), and then, in partnership with you, find a plan to assist in the improvement of your overall health by focusing on the utilization of biocompatible, mercury-free dental materials, support of nutritional supplementation and essential oils, a personalized home care and maintenance plan.

We would like to help you become proactive about your dental health in Idaho Falls, not leave it all to chance. Together we can develop a personal and comprehensive care plan geared toward your goals and your personal health needs.

Many Idaho Falls dentists use standard metal when installing dental implants. At Wellness BioDentistry, we avoid metal implants in favor of non-metal Zirconia. The benefits of these implants are numerous, so much so that even many dentists who do not consider themselves holistic or natural dentists are beginning to adopt them. Zirconia implants are:

  • Often referred to simply as silver fillings, amalgam fillings are generally comprised of about 50% mercury, which is a toxic heavy metal. Simply put, the human body and mercury do not get along very well.
  • Amalgam fillings are non-cohesive. This means they do not naturally stick to the teeth and thus have to be wedged and forced into place. This often leads to microfractures in the teeth that can later lead to considerable tooth damage, an increased risk of cavities, cracks, and breaks.
  • Amalgam fillings dont look like natural teeth. They arent exactly the prettiest option for repairing dental decay and cavities. They can also lead to great amounts of discoloration in areas of the tooth surrounding them.
  • At Wellness BioDentistry, youll find one of the few Idaho Falls dentists who will remove your mercury fillings and replace them with biocompatible, non-amalgam, resin fillings. Not only are these fillings non-toxic, but they also offer the following benefits:

Biodentistry is the practice of biologic or holistic oral healthcare which focuses on a comprehensive, whole health approach to dentistry and patient wellness. With increased prevalence of chronic disease including heart disease, cancers, and chronic fatigue, the oral-systemic link has been scientifically proven and patients are seeking dental providers who can help treat the root cause of their disease through proper dental care.

Wellness BioDentistry is a holistic general dentistry practice and the only one of its kind in the Idaho Falls, ID area. Our services include comprehensive dental care with a whole health, biological, and integrative approach proven to help treat the source and prevent chronic disease.

Wellness BioDentistry is a family-centered, integrative, biologic dental clinic dedicated to restoring full-body health and WELLNESS by treating the sources of disease through the implementation of evidence-based, cutting-edge practices from all global healing traditions. Our aim in our patient protocols includes:

The unique element of holistic dentistry and the kind of dentistry Wellness BioDentistry offers is the safe removal of amalgam fillings, treating the source of infection and disease, cavitations, ceramic implants, grafting procedures, sinus lifts and the promotion of healing modalities. If youve ever experienced a toothache, you know how nasty it can get. The throbbing pain keeps you awake at night, and no matter how hard you try, its all you can think about. Even though the ache is in your mouth, your entire body feels it, and sometimes carrying out simple tasks feels like a tedious chore. This example is proof of just how much your body is interconnected. Your oral health has the ability to impact your mental, emotional and physical well-being.

Unlike conventional dentistry, biocompatible dentists recognize that your mouth is the gateway to your body, so they take a holistic approach when treating you. Healthy teeth and gums may help you smile with confidence, but holistic dental services are the key to your overall health.

Wellness BioDentistry - General dentist in Idaho Falls, ID

Bio dentistry is also referred to as organic dentistry, holistic dentistry, or natural dentistry. Its based on one of the most obvious premises that regular dentistry tends to overlook; your mouth and your body are interconnected. Think about it; your mouth is the door to your entire body, and if you have a tooth infection, the bacteria may find its way into your bloodstream, ultimately impacting your overall health.

In fact, studies have revealed that people with gum disease are 2-3 times more likely to suffer from cardiovascular diseases. This is why at Wellness Biodentistry Idaho Falls, we offer you more than just the average dental treatment. We use your mouth as a lens to look into your mental, physical and emotional health. We understand that your oral health doesnt exist in isolation; its connected to who you are as an individual.

An organic dentist understands that even though oral health is critical to a confident smile, treating your teeth and gums without considering your overall well-being is equivalent to building a house without a weak foundation. The job will get done, but the house will be shaky!

    Biocompatible dentistry is all about protecting your body by promoting natural oral health treatments. We recognize that holistic dental services are the most effective way of investing in ones general well-being, so we focus on treating your smile and body simultaneously.When you visit Wellness Biodentistry, you should expect;

Wellness BioDentistry - General dentist in Idaho Falls, ID

Your oral health is critical to your overall well-being, so we take a comprehensive approach to your dental treatment. We are committed to giving you the best dental experience, which is why we dont recommend the fastest or most expensive treatment option. For instance, if were dealing with a diabetic patient, in addition to treating their dental problems, we will also advise on the best oral care practices and on the effective ways they can manage their blood sugar levels. We will also recommend an exercise program and a healthy diet.

At Wellness Biodentistry, we dont just view you as a dental services patient. We connect with you on a deeper level to provide treatment options that uphold your overall health. Our treatment options focus on aspects such as heredity, the condition of your gums, areas that are experiencing decay or are infected, the safety of your current dental materials, and possible health risk factors. We also look at functional disabilities, including sleep apnea and digestion.

Our holistic dental services focus on using the latest techniques and equipment to ensure you have a comfortable experience. We invest in dental non-toxic treatment options that are safe for you and the environment and use quality materials & safe dental procedures that dont impact your physical or mental health unintentionally.

We understand that missing teeth not only impacts your beautiful smile but also affects your ability to chew and speak. While we dont dispute that implants are the best treatment option, we strongly recommend against using metal implants, including Titanium ones.

We use non-toxic dental implants like those made from Zirconia because they are safer and are more compatible with your body. They are also stronger, denser, and healthier compared to titanium implants, making them a more functional alternative.

Our organic dentists never use mercury amalgam fillings because they lack adhesive qualities, which means that your dentist has to wedge them in your teeth. This is highly dangerous because it can cause microfractures in your teeth where bacteria can thrive, further worsening your condition. These types of fillings contain mercury which is highly toxic and sometimes results in tooth discoloration. They also expand and contract based on current temperatures and may cause microfractures.

We only use digital x-ray equipment because it reduces your radiation exposure by up to 50%. They are also comfortable, produce high-quality images, and the results are instant. This ensures that you get the best of x-ray imaging with significantly reduced health risks.

We work with you to create personalized treatment plans that are unique to your specific dental condition. Universal approaches dont work in biocompatible dentistry because every person has different needs.

Biocompatible dentistry is the future of oral healthcare, and its not hard to see why. It prioritizes your overall dental health and advocates for the use of safe dental products like organic dental fillings instead of amalgam fillings. At Wellness Biondetristsry, we not only treat your oral health but understand that physical, mental, and emotional well-being is integral to your general health.

I've visited this office several times- having had two invasive and traumatic procedures. I experience a lot of anxiety with dental care. During a blood draw I had a anxiety attack crying about how my dog died the day before. Their staff cared for me so supportively. Dr Baker maintained his care throughout telling me how good of a job I was doing while the assistant found me a warm blanket and ice water. It really changed my experience with dental care in general. I couldn't recommend them enough. Also, 333 Woodruff Ave is their address. Just saying.

Update: after not sending me my bill for months, they are now charging a bogus service charge to mail me the bill. Downgraded to one star. Charge substantially more $$ than other local dentists for the same services. Front of house and billing staff leave a lot to be desired.

I've had plenty of dental work done here and they always do a good job. I especially like the laser they use to really clean things up. I just had a dental cleaning this morning and everyone was personable and nice and my teeth feel great. My entire family goes here.

I cannot say enough about the experience I had at Wellness Biodentistry. I had been in excruciating pain for over 10 days. It started with what I thought was a toothache that turned into pain in the left side of my face. I ended up in the ER and was diagnosed with a horrible chronic pain condition that I thought was going to be a life long problem. I was referred to Wellness Biodentistry and when I called the receptionist was so kind and empathetic. I was able to get on the schedule and the day of my appointment they called me that morning to have me come in earlier so they could pull the tooth if they needed to. They did indeed have to pull the tooth and the excruciating nerve pain immediately resolved. I am so grateful to Dr. Baker and his amazing staff for their help. There really no words to express my relief and gratitude.

Had a ceramic, dental implant today, 2 more appointments to follow. Based on the actual implant experience, I would rate it a 5 *****, however after shelling out $2,669.50 clams, I have to knock off 1 star. As I'm not even done paying for the upcoming crown. Where these prices come from, I don't know. Are these prices "justified", I don't know, I do know it's a heckuva lot of money and I'm not done paying yet. I say, skip the root canal, because when that goes bad, like mine did, you'll need an implant. Wish I had known that, would have saved myself thousands of dollars on gold crowns & root canals. (3 have gone bad for me) Great Dentist, Dr. Jordan Baker was fabulous! Very "good" at his craft, definitely recommend Dr. Baker. P.S. They tried to sell me a $10, plastic (thin) retainer cover for my bottom teeth, for $150.00! My dental asst., told me their cost was $10.00 My dental insurance. Doesn't cover dental implants. I'm also retired After I told them I didn't want it, the dentist threw it in for Free. Very magnanimous of him. Too bad the plastic piece was so rough on the edges even after they filed it that it tore up the underneath of my tongue and my gums when I wore it and ended up not being able to wear it anyways. They could have easily melted down that little strip on the piece and it would have been fine but they didn't take the time.

Dr. Baker and his staff are very friendly. They were very busy, but I felt like they still took time to be thorough and careful while they filled my cavity.
