Dr. Maryann grew up in Parma, OH and attended Padua Franciscan Catholic High School.She is a graduate of Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, OH with degrees in chemistry and history.Dr. Maryann attended Ohio State University College of Dentistry, graduating in 2000.
Dr. Jon grew up on a farm outside a small town in northwest Ohio called Kalida, where he attended public school.He graduated from Vanderbilt Universityin Nashville, TN, then attended the Ohio State University College of Dentistry, also graduating in 2000.
Within three weeksof graduating dental school together, Dr. Maryann and Dr. Jon were married in Lakewood, OH.Dr. Maryann's earliest dental experiences took her into nursing homes where she provided dental care to the sick and elderly.Dr. Jon's earliest dental experiences were providing dental care via the Cleveland Veterans Administration Hospital.
Together, they came to Wellington in late 2002, assuming the practice built by Dr.Dane Adams. The doctors quickly outgrew their little facility on Dickson Street, leading them to build their current facility on Heritage Drive, where they have been caring for the patients of Wellington and surrounding areas for the past ten years.
During this time of building a growing, thriving practice, Dr. Maryann and Dr. Jon started their family and have three incredible children, Andrew (age 12), Jack (age 9), and Elizabeth (age 8). The family has been living in Medina for the past 13 years.They love the honest, hardworking people they have met over the years, and they enjoy learning new ways to enhance the dental health of their patients. Additionally, in 2010, Dr. Maryann and Dr. Jon took over the stewardship of yet another dental practice in Doylestown, OH, near Akron.

Everyone is so friendly and professional. I hate going to the dentist but they made it okay. I think they are a little pricey compared to other dentist I have seen and the chairs aren't very comfortable but all in all a good place.

A crown fell off my tooth, and Wellington Dental was able to schedule an appointment for me within 48 hours. They are caring, considerate, and do their best to accommodate the patient. Great job and I am so thankful!

Amanda did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. I drive half an hour just to go to Wellington Dental. They are that good!

I appreciate the staff getting me in for an appointment before the Thanksgiving holiday, as I developed an infected tooth while on vacation. The entire staff is willing and able to answer questions in a way that a patient can understand and they are courteous and compassionate. Highly recommend!

They explain things in a way that is simple, but without talking down to you. They also helped me with my very strong gag reflex. If you have a strong gag reflex, I definitely recommend them.

You cannot find a better, nicer, and easier to deal with group than Wellington Dental. The best of dentists can't fix in twenty minutes what problems were generated over sixty years. So, unfortunately, I've had to have some teeth extracted. Sounds painful? It wasn't. Some physical pressure was the most I experience. Dr. Jon and his staff took care of me. Oh, how I wish I had found them earlier.

Love everything about this place! The staff is amazing. When I'm there I feel like I'm the only patient in the building. The hygienists are so gentle and they and the dentist explain everything very clearly. I won't go anywhere else!

Staff and dentist were very friendly, however be cautious and don't be afraid to get a second opinion before having dental work done. My husband and I went there a few years ago when we were new in town. They told us we each had 4+ cavities and wanted to fill them that day. We declined and went elsewhere. We both have been to two dentists since and neither of the dentists have found any cavities.

They charge too much compared to other dentist, and they always find a way (make excuses) to come back and bill you for additional money for work already finished, they did this twice to me, poor billing practices. I complained to them in person and they did not care!

Horrible patient care. I was late to an appointment by a few minutes and instead of trying to reschedule or working with me they simply told me they couldn't do it after I had requested off work and drove over an hour to them. I am a healthcare professional and I would never treat a patient this way.
