As an adult, I've developed pretty serious anxiety about going to the dentist. I heard from a friend that Dr. Brad and his staff are patient, kind, and experts in dealing with people like me. I couldn't be happier with the gentle cleaning I received from Rebecca. She talked me through everything she was going to do first and asked me multiple times if needed breaks or had any questions. Additionally, Dr. Brad finally solved a medical mystery my previous dentists could not identify regarding issues with my teeth. He and Jen beautifully restored my teeth and brought back a sense of confidence I thought I had lost. I didn't worry at all during the procedure because I knew I was in good hands. In fact, I fell asleep during it! Kaitlin in the office is always so helpful and incredibly accomodating trying to schedule appointments for me. I've very grateful to my friend for recommending Wellesly Square Dental!

Dr. Mattison is an excellent dentist! My immediate and extended family all use him for dental care and couldn't be happier. I had two significant dental issues that he resolved perfectly (one of which was an emergency which he graciously handled on New Year's Day!). He is professional, highly skilled, communicative, gentle and personable. He uses the latest state of the art technology and tools. I've seen many X-rays and images on large screen, and he used computer aided technology to create the impression for my crown (no more nauseating goop!). The crowns fit beautifully. In fact, it is difficult for me to discern them from my real teeth. In addition, the dental assistant and hygienist are very experienced and wonderful people. I love having my teeth cleaned! The office manager Kaitlin is friendly and helpful with the administrative side of the house, such as with insurance and FSA paperwork. The office was redecorated top to bottom in 2020 and is super clean, bright and comfortable. This practice scores an eleven out of ten! Very highly recommended!

Super-clean and modern office that plays great music. Team that is friendly, easy to chat with and doesn't herd you in/out like cattle. Cool dentist tech/software unlike the old yellow analog machines you see at other dentist practices. And my teeth are super clean! You should check it out!

I have been coming to Wellesley Square Dental for 25 years. Both Dr. Mattison and his predecessor, Dr. Vassos, are absolutely phenomenal dentists. Dr. Mattison is careful, calm, and positive. As a patient, I completely trust him and his team to treat me with kindness and understanding. They are always available via phone if any issues arise. Dr. Mattison also is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that his patients get the best possible option in dental care. His crowns are fantastic. He and Jen are an amazing team!

Incredibly professional and friendly -- it was easy to schedule my appointments and the staff followed up after to make sure things were going well. Dr. Mattison kept me informed throughout any and all procedures, and went out of his way to answer my questions. It's clear the staff care about their patients, and recommend WSD to anyone who is looking for a consistently positive dental experience.

I had not been back to the dentist in a very long time when I showed up at WSD, Dr. Mattison and the whole staff were nothing but respectful and patient with my many questions. They practice all COVID precautions very strictly at all times. WSD has state of the art diagnostics and equipment, including a large monitor in my treatment area that showed very clear images of my teeth and which one needed work. Dr Mattison was calm and focused while working on me, and not once did it hurt -- during or after my procedure. Wow!

The team here is exactly what you would wish for: caring, meticulous, responsive. From regular exams to more complicated work (I've had fillings replaced and crowns), impressed (and grateful) for their great attention to my dental care. Highly, highly recommend.

I just had a routine cleaning and a couple cavities filled here. The dentist was really good at minimizing pain, used a plastic filter thing so that I didn't have to hold my own mouth open or feel like there were dental things in my mouth, and made the whole process as pleasant as it could be. I've had cavities filled at other places and this was definitely less unpleasant.

I cannot speak highly enough of Wellesley Square Dental. The staff and Dr Brad Mattison are top notch, always ensuring one is comfortable during and after each dental procedure (i.e., providing instructions for after-care and prescribing appropriate pain and antibiotic medication, as needed). I had to temporarily change dentists due to an insurance change not of my volition. This other dentist was uncaring and failed to provide proper after-care treatment. Luckily, I was able to switch back to Delta Dental (at extra cost to me, but well worth it) and resume treatment at Wellesley Square Dental. A five-star dental practice!

Top Notch team - front desk, hygienist, dental assistant, dentist - all wonderful and make you so comfortable while delivering excellent dental cars. I love the convenience of their location (train, walk, easy parking), the fresh office with state of the art equipment and their welcoming attitude. They make a visit to the dentist a pleasure.
