Dr. Fantasia graduated from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA in 1996 with a degree in Biology, and went on to graduate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2000. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry post-doctoral residency at Ft. Meade, Maryland / Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2001.

Upon graduation from Tufts in 2000, Dr. Fantasia began four years of active duty service as a Dental Officer in the U.S. Army Dental Corps before entering private practice in 2004. His duty stations included Ft. Meade, MD where he participated in his post-doctoral residency program, and Ft. Drum, NY. While stationed at Ft. Drum, Dr. Fantasia served in multiple leadership positions, including serving as the Chief of Restorative Dentistry for the dental activity, which served the 10th Mountain Division (LI), a unit with approximately 10,000 soldiers. Dr. Fantasia was responsible for coordinating patient care for both soldiers stationed at Ft. Drum as well as thousands of soldiers processing through Ft. Drum en route to overseas deployments. Dr. Fantasia joined the dental practice of Dr. Kevin Toomey after leaving active duty, and continues in this practice today.

Dr. Fantasia is very active in the dental community, specifically the Massachusetts Dental Society. He currently serves on the Oversight Planning Committee for the Yankee Dental Congress, Bostons annual dental convention held each year hosting 30,000 dental professionals. Dr. Fantasia also served as Chairman of the Yankee Dental Congress Scouting Committee, which is comprised of select group of dentists who travel to regional and national dental conventions to scout and select speakers for upcoming Yankee Dental Congresses. He is an active member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, as well as The Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the New England Dental Society, and the Charles River Study Club, where he previously served asPresident.

In 2008, Dr. Fantasia was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. The Fellowship Award is presented to dentists working to provide the highest quality of dental care by remaining current in their profession. In order to achieve the award, Dr. Fantasia completed 500 hours of continuing dental education and passed a comprehensive written exam covering all aspects of general dentistry, while maintaining active membership in the academy. In addition Dr. Fantasia was nominated and elected for Fellowship in both the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy, both world renowned dental organizations promoting the dental profession internationally.

Dr. Fantasia is very active in the Wellesley community, especially youth sports. He has coached little league baseball, youth basketball, and youth soccer over the years since moving to town. He coached youth lacrosse extensively starting in 2005, culminating in serving as the boys youth lacrosse program coordinator for Wellesely Youth Lacrosse for five years.

If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films or models are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
