I chose dentistry as a profession because it allows me to provide direct compassionate patient care that has a positive impact on my patients overall health and well being, very often with immediate results.
Dr. Jason Arandia is a graduate of New York University from the class of 1996. While at New York University he earned his Bachelors Degree in Music. He went on to earn his dental degree from Harvard University in 2000. He completed his General Practice Residency at Hartford Hospital in 2001.
Dr. Arandia treats every patient individually and provides treatment tailored specifically to the unique situations of each patient. He truly believes in the conservation of a patients natural teeth and seeks to strengthen and maintain them for life.
Dr. Arandia is currently a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation. He received the International College of Oral Implantologists Research Award and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Implant Award. Among his many accomplishments during his studies at New York University, he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Presidential Scholarship.
Originally from Liverpool, NY, Dr. Arandia currently lives in Brookline. When he is not in the office, Dr. Arandia enjoys fishing local lakes and ponds, and occasionally from a kayak. He is a big foodie and gains great enjoyment from cooking at home as well as going out to restaurants to explore authentic traditional cuisines. He is currently studying Japanese and hopes to visit Japan one day. He has a 7-year old cat named Tito who is FIV positive. Among his many personal achievements outside of his dentistry work, Dr. Arandia restored an antique Steinway piano originally built in the 1870s.
Dr. Arandia offers a wide variety of comprehensive dental treatments including cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, implant surgery and restoration, extractions, bone grafts, wisdom teeth, Invisalign, night guards, and root canals.
Dr. Tania Rohany is our new general dentist who worked closely with Dr. Tocci. Over her many years of dental experience, she has developed a compassionate and thoughtful approach toward patient care. She looks forward to getting to know our current patients and accepting new patients as she settles into practice here.
Dr. Rohany attended Adelphi University in New York City, completing their seven-year joint degree program, and then went on to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. She completed her general practice residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx, NY. The program had an emphasis on oral surgery and enabled Dr. Rohany to gain valuable skills and become comfortable with all types of dental extractions.
Compassion truly sets Dr. Rohany apart from other dentists. I really want to give you what you need in a way that works best for you, says Dr. Rohany. While growing up, her family dentist was a key factor in her familys life and made a distinct impression on Dr. Rohany. In fact, that impression is what made her want to become a dentist herself. She saw the positive impact that quality dental care made on their familys lives, and the compassion that her dentist showed when he was willing to work with them financially resonated and stuck with her.
For over 20 years, Dr. Rohany has been in private practice in New York City and the Boston area. She provides comprehensive general dentistry, including dentures, crowns, bridges, porcelain veneers, professional teeth whitening, dental implants, and more. She proudly completed New York Universitys two-year dental implant maxicourse. She is a member of the Massachusetts Dental Association (MDA), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), and the New York County Dental Society (NYCDS).
Dr. Rohany has completed several dental mission trips to third-world countries, and doing so holds a special place in her heart, as she will tell you. She truly enjoys interacting with people from various cultures and likes helping others when they feel helpless. While in Haiti on a mission trip, she stayed with the family of a patient she had treated in NYC. They welcomed her into their home while she donated her time there, providing dental care and dental education to local patients in need.
Dr. Rohany has also traveled on dental missions to Belize, Brazil, Morocco, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Mongolia, and Jamaica, often staying in the homes of welcoming locals. Her work with Healing the Children Northeast is especially close to her heart. She donates her time with this organization, treating childrens cleft lips and cleft palates in underprivileged and underserved communities.
Born and raised in NYC, Dr. Rohany is excited to have the opportunity to work with Dr. Tocci in Wellesley, as her husband is originally from Massachusetts. They live in the area with their young son and dog named Lexi. In her spare time, Dr. Rohany enjoys being with her family, traveling, and reading.

I had forgotten about my appointment and received a call from the office. I said I could arrive in 15 minutes and they said no problem ( appt at 8 - I arrived at 8:25...fyi) I felt awful because it was an early am appt and I did not want to disrupt the rest of the days appointments. I arrived. They took me right in. Cavity work performed and back to work I went. Great people. Great professionals.

Always a great experience with staff; not so much with the procedures. Donna always greets you at the reception desk with a smile and calls you by name; Rita is the best hygienist ever; gentle, informative and caring and Dr. Rohany filled Dr. Tocci's space seamlessly. Like is true in all cases, we miss Dr. T, but my family LOVES Dr. R.

Such an amazing practice. Dr. Rohany is terrific. She and her team take care of my family of four. Donna, the business manager, is so helpful navigating the insurance game. Her hygienists are gentle and always willing to share their knowledge. You would be lucky to secure an appointment with Dr Rohany and her team.

My entire family of 5 loves coming here. We moved to a neighboring town and we still come back here, because all the staff is friendly, very professional, competent and listens to all of our questions and concerns. My kids, (7,13, and 15) keep asking if they can come in more often for cleaning than the 2 times a year! Ok so this Is going to be a long review and a bit overdue but a very very important one to all patients considering this office. I was a new patient to this office a couple of months ago and have been meaning to write a review but time has gotten away from me ,I am new to the area and my anxiety about finding a new dentist was overwhelming, being that my mother was a dental hygienist. I have some knowledge about how dental offices can be and heard lots of stories from my mother I've moved around quite a bit so I've experienced my fair share of new offices, But this office was different and as soon as I met my new hygienist Shannon I knew I had found my permanent dental home, She was amazingly open absolutely hilariously witty clinically excellent but that is not the only reason she actually made such a huge impact on me , it was her story. It was her traumatic absolutely horrifying dental experience of her OWN that every patient fears, As we were talking I came to find out that she ended up at this office as a temp hygienist because her former boss and dentist had passed away on Martha's Vineyard ,she had worked there for years, Not only had she lost her employer she lost her dentist. She was in need of replacement of some old dental work. WOW from here I cannot even describe to you how horrifying her experience was and how brave she was to tell me in order to calm my anxiety and give me The assurance I needed in dentist Dr. Rohani who I hadn't met until the end of the appointment, She told me she made the mistake of trusting a dentist on a simple referral from a friend who had only heard about him and that was the biggest mistake she ever made, It resulted in a dental disaster beyond your imagination and altered her faith in her own profession and in dentistry .She was so traumatized that she never thought she could go back to work as a dental hygienist again she did not believe that dentists had patient's best interest and money was the motivator and cutting corners with shoddy work was the norm, It will take her thousands of dollars pain and years to recover from the botched work that has left her without a smile. She even showed me what she was dealing with and it broke my heart that she was going through this and she had the kindness to pull her mask down and show me in order to help me understand that I had found the right dentist. I asked her why.? what is it about Dr. Rohani that made you come back to work and to drive 2 hours each way to work with her from Cape Cod every day?. she said "Dr. Rohany simply told me she liked my personality and she said that I could call her Tanya and asked if I wanted to come back again to fill in. Shannon said this told her two things that this woman was kind she cared about peoples personality not just ability to make her money And that she had no ego she was confident yet down to earth with no pretenses she wanted to be called Tonya because she was so down to earth and relatable Shannon said that she made such a huge impact on her that she eventually moved to work with Tonya and as the days went by she saw how Dr. Rohani always offered a patient a different Option and if she didn't feel comfortable doing a certain specialty procedure-she always refer the patient out which was so important to Shannon because this is why her dental situation was completely botched, she told me that she was also very conservative she was not trying to take advantage of peoples wallets and her dentistry was excellent and to the point of OCD which coming from Shannon was a huge compliment the two of them are very similar everything that Shannon told me in the hour I spent with her Dr Rohani came in and said VERBATIM same things. They are very much on the same page and they seem to have a mutual respect for each other I recommend them to everyone and I hope Dr. Rohani Understands that she has the best cheerleader any professional could ask for and Hope she knows how much Shannon respects her work and enjoys dental hygiene now ,I am so happy for the both of them LOVE THEM
