Dr. Daniel Weldon, his wife Elizabeth, their twin daughters, Georgia and McCall, and their son, Luke, live in Ocala. They are members of the First United Methodist Church of Ocala. In addition to spending time with his family, he also enjoys fishing and exercising.
Dr. Weldon earned his bachelor degree in Biochemistry from the University of Florida. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2008. Understanding that the dental education only begins in dental school, he has been continuing his education through the world-renowned Spear Education and completed their Implant Educators Comprehensive course in 2014. Dr. Weldon is former courtesy faculty in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Student Clinic at the College of Dentistry.
Dr. Weldon is a member of the Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and is the past president of the Marion County Dental Association. He is a member of the Ocala Metropolitan Rotary Club, and an officer for the Andrew J. Semesco Foundation (ajsfoundation.org) which helps fund oral head and neck cancer research. He also volunteers his time at the Marion County Health Department doing dental work for the less fortunate in the community. Dr. Weldon is trained in all aspects of general dentistry including dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and pediatric dentistry. He is also proficient in Spanish.
Most recently, Dr. Weldon has become a master in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Weldon Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry of Ocala is dedicated to providing superior implant dentistry.
Elizabeth is a highly experienced, board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with 12 years of experience in the field of dermatology, Botox, and dermal fillers. She is extremely passionate about creating natural looks for patients that help them both feel and look their best. She looks forward to providing these revitalizing services here at Weldon Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry of Ocala!
Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. She worked one year as a Labor and Delivery nurse, then earned her Masters in Nursing from the University of Florida in 2005. Elizabeth has continued her education in Botox and Fillers by attending many training courses and has earned the title of Master Injector.
A percentage of all of Elizabeths profits from these services will be donated to local organizations that help women and children in need. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her three special children, travelling, and exercising.
Claudia has been working in dentistry for nearly 15 years, both as a dental assistant and as our dedicated manager. She loves helping people and taking care of teeth, so the job is a perfect fit! At home, she is the proud mom of two grown sons. When she isnt busy answering questions for patients, she enjoys watching soccer and spending quality time with her family in California.
Kelly studied at Middlesex County College; today, shes been working in the dental field for nearly 15 years. She is extremely passionate about her job and providing excellent care to patients in need! Whenever a problem arises, its in her nature to fix it, and her goal at the end of each day is to leave people feeling great about their smile. At home, she has two teenage boys. Her top hobbies in her free time include taking cruises, lounging at the beach, and shopping.
Crystals hometown is Starke, FL! She attended Fortis College and earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification before joining the field of dentistry. Today, she thoroughly enjoys helping patients overcome their fear of the dentist. Outside the office, youll most likely find her soaking up every moment she can with her daughter and fianc. One interesting thing you may not know about her is that she grew up on a farm with mini cows and chickens.
Although Kelsey is relatively new to our team, she has nearly a decade of experience in the dental field under her belt! She is originally from North Branch, MN, completing her studies at Dakota County Technical College. Today, she is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with additional training in CPR. For her, the best part of her job is hands down seeing the joy and confidence that comes from bettering ones oral hygiene. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and Black Lab. She also likes going to the beach, visiting Disneyland, and working out!
As a Florida native, it was only natural for Felicity to pursue her studies at the College of Central Florida. Now, she is DANB certified and an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Some of her favorite things about her job include learning new things every day and helping patients feel more comfortable in the treatment chair. In her free time, she loves roller skating, skateboarding, doing yoga, and painting. Heres an interesting fact about her: she was in gymnastics when she was younger and strived to be in the Olympics!
Although Stacy is relatively new to our team, she has an impressive 25+ years of experience! She is also an expanded functions dental assistant. She attended Broward College after graduating from high school. Today, her favorite part of her job is meeting new patients and building relationships with them. In her free time, she loves being a mom to her two children and a wife to her husband of more than 20 years. She also enjoys working out!

Dr. Weldon and Felicity were tasked with removing my lower wisdom teeth. They were efficient and knowledgeable, going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. After having a traumatic experience at another dentist office they showed the utmost compassion and completely changed my perspective in regards to dentistry. I can't thank them enough and will definitely be going back to have the rest of my reconstruction done.

Everyone in this office from the receptionists, Kelly and Claudia, the hygienist, Jenn, to Dr Weldon are very friendly and caring. I actually enjoy going to the Dentist now ! I would recommend this office very highly !

Had a great experience with Dr. Weldon and his friendly staff. They make each patient feel important and you can tell they truly care. The office equipment and technology are state of the art, not to mention the newly renovated office decor is beautiful. I have lost a lot of teeth due to 8 months of antibiotic/predizone treatments for a poisonous spider bite. This past Saturday, one of my jaw teeth literally split apart. I had contacted Dr Weldon's office about implants and contacted them with my emergency. The receptionist was so helpful working me in Dr Weldon's schedule on my day off work. The tooth extraction went well with no pain! Thank you - DR. WELDON, ASSISTANTS & STAFF!

I've never written a bad review before about anyone. I had cancer and the surgery earlier this year, breaking some teeth while stressing. Knowing in advance and prepared to pay the high cost, I chose him based on reviews. I'm in need of caps, implants and possibly a root canal. Dr Weldon sent me to an orthodontist to have my teeth straightened before he would do any work. My teeth are NOT out of alignment, but a few are and always were crooked. I'm 69 years old and am not able to wear Invisalign or even a mouth guard. So today Dr Weldon's office just informed me that he will not do the work unless the orthodontist straightens my teeth first!! I definitely do NOT recommend him as a dentist.

I have extreme anxiety especially when it comes to the dentist. I am so thankful and blessed that they were referred to me. I was reluctant and so nervous but things need to be taken care of. Trey was wonderful to talk to when getting the appointment, Devon was excellent at her job of keeping me calm and building my trust, she took her time and made sure I was ok with everything she was doing including an abundance of x-rays to get the best pictures of my teeth. Dr Weldon was personable and very gentle and non judgemental of my neglect of my teeth. Kelly was amazing helping with insurance and how to manage my treatment and we laughed a little loudly. Thanking God I found them.

I needed an emergency extraction and Weldon's got me in the next day! I was able to get an X-ray of the tooth and have it extracted a few mins later! Reasonable prices, and beyond friendly staff. I'm a big baby but they had me calm and out of there in a snap! I highly recommend and will be going back for any future dentistry needs!! I suggest you do too!

Have been using this dentist for approximately 10 years. I sat in the dentists chair yesterday and waited for an hour before the dentist came in to examine me and not a word about making me wait that long. Time to find a new dentist.
