Dr. Michael Tumbarello grew up in New York and knew he wanted to be a dentist from the age of 4. He graduated in 1997 from the University of Connecticut Dental School. He moved to North Carolina in 1997 and immediately began his residency program at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC to further his education. In August 1998, he began his private practice in Dobson, NC where he solo practiced for 20 years. He enjoyed the small town practice and getting to know his patients and their families. After serious consideration, he decided to further his experiences and become the Associate Director of Clinical Services at one of the local East Carolina School of Dental Medicine clinics. He began mentoring 4th year dental students and 1st year residences completing their AEGD education. His experiences and the teaching of futuredentists has re-inspired him to treat patients in a small community again. When not working, he enjoys running, fishing on High Rock Lake, and relaxing with his wife and 3 wonderful children.

Kristi was recently added to the dental team. She received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Guilford Technical Community College. She has been a Dental Hygienist for 17 years. She loves getting to know her patients and their families. Kristi lives in the North Davidson community with her husband and two children. In her spare time she enjoys watching her kids play sports, trips to the beach and spending time with friends & family. She looks forward to seeing you at your next visit at our new office!
