Dr. Joshua Weitman received his undergraduate degree in Psychology at SUNY Binghamton and Cornell University. He received his dental degree at NYU College of Dentistry and graduated in 1984. He also attended the pre-College division of the Julliard School of Music for 3 years during high school.
Dr. Weitman has been practicing General Dentistry for 39 years, 36 of them in the village of Huntington. He has hundreds of hours of continuing education including prosthetics, periodontics, oral surgery, medicine, root canal therapy, TMJ/occlusion, oral microbiology and radiology. Among others he has completed a program in implant surgery at Montefiore/Einstein Hospital in the Bronx and maintains a working relationship with the hospital. He has recently added Adult Orthodontics through the Six Month Smile program.
Robin graduated from Ithaca college with a degree in Communications with a Business minor. She has worked in the dental field for 33 years, 17 of them at Dr. Weitman 's office. She handles all of the insurance, scheduling, billing, ordering of supplies, correspondence. and administrative duties that keep the office organized and running smoothly. She always has a big smile and warm greeting for her patients. 'I feel it is important to make people feel comfortable when they come to the office. It should feel like you are visiting friends.'
Welcome Denise to our office. Denise is a RDH with 26 years of experience. She graduated from NYU College of Dentistry and received her anesthesia license from Stonybrook University. Denise is a member of several dental organizations and has treated patients of all ages in both the public and private sector. She lives in East Northport with her husband, 4 children and their dog Buddy. She enjoys going to the beach, scuba diving and ballroom dancing

Started using Dr Weitman after my previous Dentist retired about two years ago and couldn't be happier . Dr Weitman kept his office opened for me on my first visit when I had a dental emergency and I really appreciated it . I recommended my whole family to him because of the way he and his staff treated me . When my son went also for a visit , Dr Weitman made a follow up phone call to him to see how he was feeling . Last week I had another unexpected visit to his office and he was again great and his assistant Ariana made me feel comfortable dealing with a tooth issue . I am glad to have found him and will be using him going forward .

Best Dentist I've ever been to. Saved me money by salvaging a tooth instead of putting on a crown. Also the best cleaning I've ever had, he's got a great touch, zero pain throughout. I was dreading going to the dentist - but was the best dentist visit I've ever had.

Such an archaic, dirty facility. It's scary quite frankly. The office staff is rude and furthermore when I had a family emergency and missed a cleaning appointment for my children, Dr Weitman himself called me weeks later demanding to know why I wasn't at the appointment and asking me, 'what my problem was'. I felt so harassed and demeaned. To top it off...our new dentist revealed that a temporary filling was placed in my son's molar..by Dr. Weitman. Dr Weitman never told us it was s temporary filling!!!!!! The best was when we received a letter from their office telling us they can no longer be our dentist, along with a final bill for missed appointments. Please avoid this office.

Our family has been going for 20 plus years, and my kids NEVER WANTED a different Dentist (and we even considered pediatric dentistry for them)~~ I think that says it all!!! (And my oldest son has needed a lot more work done than I ever had- teeth pulled, cavities filled- and at a very early age!) Genuine, gentle and wonderful patient CARE!

Dr. Weitman has consistently provided top notch care to me and my family for years. He and his team, especially Robin (the receptionist) and Val (a dental hygienist) are very professional, trustworthy and compassionate health care professionals. I could not recommend this practice more highly!
