Being an orthodontist is an honor for me. I feel truly blessed to be in such a caring and inspiring profession. Not only do I improve my patients oral health and make their smiles beautiful, but I help them feel better about themselves. I love that my days are spent surrounded by people making positive changes in their life. Being able to improve a persons self-esteem and the confidence with which he or she moves through the world, by creating a new a smile, is fulfilling. I cannot imagine a more ideal profession!
It is Dr. Weisss goal to continue to learn and expand his intellectual horizons. He participates in a wide range of dental and orthodontic continuing education. This ensures his patients receive the best care for their needs. Dr. Weiss is an active member of the Chagrin Valley Study Club (past president), the Southwest/Greenbrier Dental Study Club (past president), and co-leader of the Spear Dental Study Club. In addition, he attends conferences, lectures, and seminars to learn about the latest technologies and treatments.
Dr. Weiss grew up in Cleveland Heights and he and his wife have called Solon their home for more than 25 years. When hes not working, Dr. Weiss enjoys traveling to see his three children, and staying active whether by golfing, swimming, or lifting weights.
Dr. Tor knows that part of being an exceptional orthodontist is the pursuit of continuing education. This keeps her informed of the latest research, technology, and trends. By completing both local and national courses, she is continually expanding her knowledge and the care she is able to provide her patients. Dr. Tor feels its important to apply only evidenced-based research to her practice and to fully understand all treatments she uses on a daily basis.
Dr. Tor grew up in Beachwood, on the east side of Cleveland. She now lives in Shaker with her husband, Jeremy, and their daughters, Ariella and Dahlia. Outside of work, Dr. Tor spends as much time as possible with her family and friends. Shes an avid foodie who loves trying new restaurants, looking up new recipes, and planning her next meals. Sharing that love of food with family and friends makes Dr. Tor very happy. Dr. Tor also enjoys volunteering and giving back to her local community.

iTero is a scanner that allows your orthodontist to take a highly accurate digital impression of your teeth and jaw. The new technology completely eliminates the tray and putty impressions that often causes discomfort for patients.
To ease any pain, simple over-the-counter pain medicine will do the trick. If you are experiencing mouth ulcers, try rinsing your mouth with salt water. Topical numbing solutions are also safe to treat mouth ulcers.

Dr Weiss and his staff were always friendly and kind when I came here with braces...10 years later my permanent retainer came unglued (which was very uncomfortable) and they squeezed me in on the same day to glue it back on. Staff remembered me from 10 years ago which says a lot about they treat patients. I'd recommend Dr Weiss for anyone looking to straighten their smile!

More than a patient. The Dr.'s and Staff at Weiss and Torr Orthodontics are beyond skilled not only with their dental work, but also how all are treated. I am a recent single parent and when life happened, I can not express my gratitude at their tireless concern to help our situation and their flexibility with us. Their concern was us. Nothing more, nothing less. Amazing. Especially in this broken world, nice to be a part of! Bravo!

Dr.Weiss and Dr.Tor are terrific! They run a very professional practice and make the patients feel comfortable. When you have an appointment, they actually honor your appointment time which is not always the case with other practices. This is important when you are bringing your kids in to get their braces or Invisalign checked in a regular basis! I would highly recommend them to any families looking for an orthodontist.

Overall great experience. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. My only complaint was that not one single person that I interacted with during visit introduced themselves so I was never sure who I was talking to, including the doctors. This was my first visit to the practice so I did not know anyone.

It doesn't get better than Dr. Tor and all the staff! To think that my doctor-dreading, dentist-fearing child would ever be the same kid to ASK to go to the orthodontist...well, it speaks volumes. They are extremely thorough, take the time with their patients to make sure they understand everything, and are incredibly good at what they do. I'd recommend them to anyone.
