Just as technology alters your day-to-day life, it affects the world of dentistry too! You want the dental office you visit to be up-to-date, and so do we. Thats why we pride ourselves on having advanced equipment that helps our staff treat you promptly and effectively. Dr. Brad Weiss and Dr. Ali Fulreader know that our technology keeps us light-years ahead of the competition in terms of treatments available to our patients.
Our CEREC equipment makes it possible for us to create and place your customized crown or onlay in a single visit! We can scan your mouth and broken tooth to upload a 3D image to the computer, and then well plan the creation of your crown. Dr. Weiss and Dr. Fulreader will be able to formulate the creation of your restoration to fit your bite. The machine will fabricate your porcelain restoration during your visit and we will bond it in the same day!
We have an in-house lab which allows us to produce many appliances directly for our patients instead of having to send their cases outside the dental office. Since weve removed the middle-man, youll be able to contact us if you have any questions concerning the length of time necessary to create your prosthetic or how soon your case will be ready.
Our team believes that our patients should receive effective, quality care in comfort. Thats why we have patient amenities available at your request! We can provide a comfortable pillow and warm blanket while you wait, and if youd like to listen to music, our staff can lend you headphones. Dr. Weiss and Dr. Fulreader want to try as hard as they can to make sure youre at ease during your time at our dental office.
Dr. Brad Weiss and Dr. Ali Fulreader love being your dedicated dentists in Skokie and look forward to providing you and your family many years of dental service, no matter how simple or complex your needs might be. If youre curious as to how they came to dentistry, youll love their detailed bios listed on our website! We hope reading them will make it easy to strike up conversation during your visit.
Dr. Weiss first earned a B.A. in Biology and moved on to Indiana Universitys School of Dentistry in Indianapolis where he was awarded the Dentsply International Merit Award for Prosthodontics. Following dental school, Dr. Weiss practiced in Kenilworth and Winnetka and gained experience with Lasers, Computer-Aided Design, and Machined Dentistry. He continued his education at the L.D. Pankey Institute in Florida and is honored to be a part of the Visiting Faculty since 2008. He has also been co-facilitating a study group for dentists interested in developing relationship-based dental offices in Vancouver, B.C. since 2010. He was inducted as a Fellow into the prestigious American College of Dentists in 2012.
When not in the dental office, Dr. Weiss is a member of the Evanston Lighthouse Rotary club, where he served as the clubs president in 2016-2017. He enjoys hockey, yoga, tennis, cooking, and, most of all, making memories with his wife Tiffany, and their three boys Braden, Charlie and Nolan. The Weisses live in Evanston.
Fun fact: Although Brad was named the 1990 Gatorade Player of the Year (Indianas Mr. Soccer) his wife Tiffany accomplished something he could not. Her 1991 Libertyville team won the Illinois State Championship.
Dr. Fulreader was inspired to pursue a career in oral healthcare by her childhood dentist, Dr. Cynthia K. Slack. She was the ultimate professional intelligent, passionate, educated, poised, caring, and empathetic. She had an impeccable bedside manner and took wonderful care of all her pediatric patients. She made going to the dentist fun, even as a child, and always had the best prizes available. She also recognized Dr. Fulreaders interest in dentistry early on, giving her journal articles to read as early as middle school. Today, Dr. Fulreader couldnt be prouder to work in the same profession as Dr. Slack, and she still emulates her care approach every single day.
After graduating from Colby College, Dr. Fulreader pursued her dental doctorate at the University of Maryland. She also completed a Hospital Based residency at Evanston Hospital. Today, she has completed several courses at the prestigious Pankey Institute and is a certified Invisalign and CEREC provider. She is also a member of SPEAR Education, Seattle Study Club, American Dental Association, and Illinois Dental Association.
Dr. Fulreader enjoys spending lots of quality time with her mom, dad, and older brother. They all live in Rochester, NY, and she regularly looks forward to frequenting the local ski hills with them in the winter. As for other hobbies, she likes playing tennis and soccer, painting, going to yoga (she actually attends a class led by Arina, one of our dental assistants), reading non-fiction, going to the Art Institute, traveling, and exploring all of Chicagos different neighborhoods with good friends.
