After three decades in dentistry, Dr. Mark T. Weiser is an experienced, caring and forward-looking professional. An author, lecturer, and recognized leader in the field of cosmetic and laser and ozone dentistry, Dr. Weiser is a pioneer of innovative techniques in the uses of lasers, ozone and air abrasion for drill-free dentistry. His approach of healthy mouth/healthy body concept, sees the tie in between the health of your mouth and your overall body health.
An international expert in aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry, Dr. Mark T. Weiser graduated from the University of the Pacific. As a partner in the Extreme Team that provided cosmetic dentistry for the hit TV show ABC Extreme Makeover Dr. Weiser has learned and perfected advanced techniques to improve anyones smile. Dr. Weiser has also completed filming for BBCs 'A Brand New You' where they changed the lives of English patients with amazing smile makeovers.
Lari is a California native and has been a resident of Goleta since 2004. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Advanced Dental Hygiene in 1990 at Weber State University in Ogden Utah and completed a certificate program from the University of Pacific for Patients with Special Needs. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and has been practicing Dental Hygiene at Doctor Weisers and Doctor Grant's dental practice for over 16 years. Lari prides herself in staying current with the latest research in preventative oral health care. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, biking/hiking along the coast, and spending time with family and her little dogMiki.
Marissa is a skilled certified dental assistant who is personally committed to a holistic lifestyle. She joined our practice in 2018 and has helped our office promote integrated total body wellness into the practice of oral health. Marissa understands that how you care for your mouth can directly influence the way you look and feel both emotionally and physically. Her confidence, friendly attitude and dedication to the whole-body approach have made her a great addition to the team.
Liz is a native Californian and has lived in Santa Barbara for 14 years. Shes been dedicated to her profession the last 26 years and has been invaluable to our practice since 2008. The very experienced and knowledgeable Liz has gone through extensive ozone therapy training and values this scientifically backed approach to dentistry and the many benefits that come along with it for her patients. She also has advanced education with sleep apnea and is passionate about helping patients achieve a full night of sleep and optimal overall health
Tania and her happy personality will likely be the first person to greet you at our amazing office. She has 12 years of dental experience in both front and back office roles, including assisting chairside, insurance, and treatment planning. She will make certain that your insurance is billed quickly and efficiently every time. When not being amazing here, she might be cooking up something incredible or caring for her 3 children.
Desiree was born In Portland Oregon and raised in Arizona. She moved to California in 2003 to pursue a career in dentistry. As a highly sought-after RDA with ozone training both in the medical and dental field we are delighted to have her as a team member, she is the perfect fit for our holistic dental practice! Her 15 years in dentistry with exceptional training, expertise and education is diverse and valuable in our patients well-being. With the belief system that your oral health is fundamentally connected to your overall well-being keeping you healthy and smiling confidentially excites her. When not at work Desiree enjoys cooking and going on random adventures and hikeswith her two kids.

I've been going to Dr. Weiser for almost 20 years. He's one of the best around! Cheers to him, his staff of friendly people... And impeccable dentistry! Thank you Larry for always making my "Pearly Whites" sparkle. RR Another day at Weiser & Grant Dentistry! The entire staff is so kind and helpful. I cannot imagine my smile without each and every one of them! I never thought I could have such a good time at the dentist.

I had a gum contouring treatment in September with Dr. Grant. Everything happened spontaneously and quickly and I was happy about that, especially this was preparing for an October wedding. The staff responded to my inquiries instantly and coordinated a timely appointment for the first consult. What I liked about Dr. Grant was that right off the bat, he said: "There are different ways to approach--how would you like to do it" instead of "Here is my plan!" Liz and other techs involved in the process were attentive and lovely, too. My gum contouring consisted of teeth whitening, making veneers and (of course) the laser gum contouring. All these were achieved within about 3 weeks (only because the veneers took time to be made). Overall, the experience is great and the result is beyond satisfactory. I highly recommend the practice!

I love this office and everyone who works there. The Veneers Dr Weiser put in for me are beyond first rate.I just met Dr Grant and his gentle but knowing manner was very encouraging. Dr Grant's oral exam was impressive. I am so happy you guys around.

I only have good things to say about my experiences at this office. First of all, the people that run the front desk, namely Tanya and Vanessa are very friendly and helpful. Lari, the dental hygienist is excellent! Liz, who was my main "nurse, caretaker, doer of all things" is so attentive and tuned in to what I was going through. She really took excellent care of me. Marissa assisted on one occasion and I felt very comfortable in her presence. And Dr. Grant, who extracted a molar, filled a cavity, and inserted two dental implants, is absolutely amazing at his craft! He operates will a steady, sure hand and with a calm and confident energy about him. I was able to relax (as much as I'd possible in this case) knowing that I was in great hands with Dr. Grant and Liz. I give them 5 stars!

Although I have been coming to Dr. Weiser (and now, 'and Grant'), for some time, the cost has risen to the point where I must use someone who takes my insurance for a filling and some other work that simply costs more than I want to spend out of pocket. Especially since we have to pay for insurance anyway. It's sad to move on from a good dental office, but it's necessary.

I was the worst patient ever! Claustrophobic, nervous , hyperventilating, chocking on my saliva and the staff there was Amazing . They were so compassionate and really helped me get through my zoom treatment. I am completely happy with my treatment. Thank you for seeing me through and keeping me from backing out! I'll be back.

Dr. Weiser has been my dentist since 1985, except for a few years when I was working in LA, and could not be in Santa Barbara for dental work. Mark has a staff of excellent dental hygienists and administrative staff that work with his patients to make sure they are well taken care of in terms of both preventive dental care and whatever other procedures are needed to resolve their dental problems. Mark has always kept his level of dental expertise and skills on the leading edge of dental care technology as his primary objective is to provide his patients with the best dental care available within the dental care industry at a reasonable cost.His office has the latest technology and tools needed to provide a very high level of dental care. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for the best dental care available in Santa Barbara.

I really like my dentist, Dr. Grant, and the entire staff! I am so happy to have found them! They are up to date and very knowledgeable and are so reassuring.
