Dr. Patrick Weimer has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years. After graduating from LSU School of Dentistry in 1995, he went on to complete his dental residency at the VA Hospital of New Orleans. Dr. Weimer chose beautiful Mandeville Louisiana to begin his dental practice and has been at his current location for over 20 years.
Dr. Weimer was born and raised in Thibodaux, Lousiana, where he is the middle of five children. After graduating E.D. White High School, he attended LSU in Baton Rouge, where he received a Bachelor of Science in zoology. He then went on to LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, where he was a member of the C. Edmund Kells Honorary Society and received the LSU School of Dentistry Award for Excellence. He has been married to his wife, Colleen, for over 20 years, and they have three children: Allison, Matthew and Blake.
Dr. Summer Swindle has joined us at Weimer Family Dentistry, and she cannot wait to meet our patients! Dr. Swindle has lived in multiple states, but fell in love with the great state of Louisiana and decided to make this home.
Dr. Swindle grew up in a small town in southeast Missouri with her parents and one older sister. She attended Mississippi State University, and graduated Summa Cum Laude while obtaining a bachelors in biochemistry. She then attended The University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2019. While in dental school, she served as Community Service Chairman for the Association of Women Dentists and was elected Communication Chairman for her graduating class. After graduation, Dr. Swindle wanted to continue her education in the dental field and completed the General Practice Residency at LSU New Orleans in 2020. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, traveling and spending time with her cat, Willow.

I have been going to this dentist for decades. I always have a great experience here and appreciate their professionalism and attention to detail. The dental hygienist is very thorough and always educates me on steps I can take to further improve my oral health. Dr. Weimer is the best. He is very knowledgeable and has the latest, greatest equipment. ( you can get a crown the same day; no waiting 2 weeks for the lab). His technique is so refined that I have never, ever felt any pain.

Weimer Family dentistry has awesome staff. My hygienist did a wonderful job on cleaning my teeth. It felt like a spa for my teeth. Dr. Weimer was right on the money in diagnosing my teeth discomfort and resolved it in a matter of minutes. The front desk staff were efficient and answered all my questions. I had a great experience!

So in my past history I've had horrible experiences with going to the dentist. But that's not the case with this place. I absolutely love this place everyone is so sweet and gentle! I don't want to go to any other dentist other than this one. I definitely recommend coming here.
