A Psychic, Stevie Wonder, and a Queen This is a long story so buckle up! Twenty six months ago I noticed a bruise above a front tooth. I would later learn that we refer to this particular tooth as "Number 8". At the time my general dentist diagnosed this problem as something called "Resorption". He put a plan in place that included a root canal, crown lengthening surgery, and six veneers. This would "fix" the problem. As it turns out, Number 8 was a real troublemaker. And, the services and surgeries that were performed were less than ideal (understatement of the year). After about a year of stops, starts, and temporary veneers falling out of my mouth every day, I began to question the process. By this time I had been to dental appointments something like 30 times in 12 months with no end in sight. I was wearing ill-fitting temporary veneers, I looked terrible, I had a tough time eating anything more than applesauce, and started feeling very depressed. About the same time, a few friends and I went for psychic readings, just for fun...or so I thought. I got through the reading with the psychic and she asked if I had any questions. I said "Yes! Im having some major dental challenges. I'm starting to question if I am on the right path. Should I get a second option?". My psychic responded with an emphatic YES! She said "You need to go where the BIG DOGS are", and she repeated that several times...always saying "BIG DOGS". I set off to find the best dental professional in central PA. I checked with Google and Facebook. I asked friends, I read reviews. I finally settled on Weierbach & Genetti Prosthodontics and made an appointment for a consult. Upon walking in to W&G's office for the first time, I noticed a large painting behind the front desk. The painting depicted Dr. Weierbach's BIG DOGS! When I say that I got chills...I mean every hair on my body stood straight up! I was in the right place. I was walked back to an exam room, and as I sat down in the dental chair, I just bawled. One year of dealing with this had come to the surface and somehow I knew that I was in the right place. Dr. Genetti and Dr. Weierbach consulted with me and put a plan in place to create a beautiful smile that I would be proud of. It wouldn't be easy. This process would include another crown lengthening surgery on EVERY top tooth, prep work on all of those teeth, and twelve porcelain crowns. It would mean procedures, healing, provisionals, and more. Number 8 and the "work" that followed with the first provider created a lot of problems. Dr. Genetti was the problem solver. A few weeks later, we began the process. Now, know this...we began this journey knowing that a month later, I'd be moving 10 hours away to South Carolina. But, we began. W&G fit in as many appointments as possible before I left. After our move we traveled back to Lancaster every 2-3 months for the sole purpose of my dental appointments. It was, at times, painful. It was expensive. It was inconvenient. It wasn't easy for me. It wasn't easy for W&G's team. But, we got it done. Dr. Genetti is a deeply caring, incredibly skilled, highly trained, professional. Her assistant, Chelsea, is a gifted, fun, and knowledgeable "dental nerd", as she likes to say. This dental duo actually does a happy dance when looking at and talking about their work. Like they really, REALLY love dental stuff! Ok, fast forward to present day. Three days ago I've traveled back to Lancaster. I'm in the chair. This is my final appointment. THIS IS IT!! Dr. Genetti and Chelsea are carefully placing each porcelain crown one by one when Chelsea says "do you hear what's playing?" It was Signed, Sealed and Delivered by Stevie Wonder. We all cracked up...absolutely perfect timing! In the end, Dr. Genetti, Chelsea, and the entire team at Weierbach & Genetti Prosthodontics saved the day. They saved me. The psychic was right. Stevie Wonder was right. And, this Queen has 12 brand new, beautiful crowns. I am grateful.

I've been smiling a little extra this week thanks to the awesome team at Weierbach & Genetti Prosthodontics! I did the Zoom whitening treatment there and I love the results. Over the years my bright white smile had faded a bit from coffee and other staining foods. I felt like it was aging me! Dr. Genetti recommended Zoom knowing it would be effective for me and work for my busy working Mom life. I have to extend special thanks to the kind assistant Amanda who not only did a great job but made the whole experience pleasant with great conversation. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for first-class experience and results.

I visited Dr. Weierbach for help with clenching and grinding which was giving me jaw pain and causing my upper and lower teeth to be misaligned together. He set me up with a nighttime appliance and was able to alleviate all my issues and pain. Staff is very friendly too. I'm so glad I used their services!

This is the nicest dental office I have ever been to. I've always dreaded going to the dentist, but when I walked in the door, I knew right away this was the right place for me. The office itself is beautiful and feels and looks like a spa! Everyone I interacted with was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and they were all able to answer my questions. Dr. Genetti immediately put me at ease. Right away she asked me about my story and concerns and she really took the time to listen to what I had to say, which is so rare! At each appointment, I never had to guess what was happening because everything was explained so clearly. Dr. Genetti is an extremely consciousness and kind dentist and I could tell from the first exam what a confident and knowledgeable practitioner she is. The team works together so well and you can tell how much they care for their patients and each other. I was relaxed throughout my whole treatment because I felt I was in such good hands. I actually look forward to going to each visit. Thank you, Dr. Genetti!

I had botox done here a year ago for bruxism (teeth grinding) and it took about 2-3 months but I haven't needed to wear my night guard since. It really worked! Thank you doc!

In one office visit, Dr Weierbach corrected my dental problem that progressed over decades. He and his staff were understanding, caring and welcoming. Everyone is impressively talented and the work is artistic. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice.

When it was time for me to choose a dentist to have implants, there was never a doubt who I would choose! Trust is the word to best describe Dr. Weierbach and his Staff. I traveled from Florida to Lancaster several times just so I could have Dr. Weierbach as my prosthodontist. From the time you walk into the office, everyone makes you feel welcome and comfortable. My teeth were so terrible I was petrified to even think of going anywhere for a consultation. I found myself not smiling didn't even want to socialize! So one day I ran into a friend of mine I hadn't seen for a long time, she had the most beautiful smile! I kindly asked who her Denist was her reply was doctor John A Weierbach,told me hes more than a dentist he does it all so I looked up his website and sat down and wrote an email I kept that email as a draft for 2 weeks it was so hard to hit that Send button because I was so ashamed and embarrassed of my teeth well the day I hit send I then received a reply to set up an appointment for a consultation. I was absolutely scared to death to go but the day I went it was the best consultation ever discussing all the options that could be done. I felt at ease all the staff and Dr. Weirerbach were so pleasant not looking at me in any weird type of way and hard to believe because I myself knew how terrible my smile and teeth were !! Wow why did I wait so long Dr Weirerbach and staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and unashamed! Now my smile is complete I feel like a whole new person with over 100% of confidence I feel beautiful again and my smile Oh what a gorgeous smile I have Dr Weirerbach and staff have given me I can't thank them enough I would highly recommend Dr Weierbach and his staff to anyone, they are so kind and polite, professional and totally go above and beyond their Call of Duty! I've not only gained a gorgeous smile I've gained a whole new family !
