Dentistry is a rewarding profession that is constantly evolving. My aim is to keep implementing cutting-edge technology so I can offer my patients optimal treatment. I seek to not only address my patients concerns, but also find it necessary to educate them on how lifestyle choices can affect their oral health. I never grew up fearing the dentist due to the great care I was provided with, and I aspire to do the same for my patients.

After receiving his DMD degree, Dr. Contreras completed a General Practice Residency with the BronxCare Health System. He is passionate about continuing education and makes a conscientious effort to attend multiple dental conventions throughout the year.
Away from the office, Dr. Contreras is committed to community service. During dental school he held multiple leadership positions in organizations dedicated to public service and traveled on a mission trip to Latin America where free dental care was provided. In his free time, Dr. Contreras enjoys traveling, visiting museums, sampling new cuisines, watching sports, and tropical fishkeeping.
