Orthodontics is not merely for improving the aesthetics of the smile; orthodontic treatment improves improper bites (malocclusions). Malocclusions occur as a result of tooth or jaw misalignment. Malocclusions affect the way you smile, chew, clean your teeth or feel about your smile.
According to studies by the American Association of Orthodontists, untreated malocclusions can result in a variety of problems. Crowded teeth are more difficult to properly brush and floss, which may contribute to tooth decay and/or gum disease. Protruding teeth are more susceptible to accidental chipping. Crossbites can result in unfavorable growth and uneven tooth wear. Open bites can result in tongue-thrusting habits and speech impediments. Ultimately, orthodontics does more than make a pretty smile it creates a healthier you.

Dr. Weber is a native of Liberty, Missouri and graduated Valedictorian from Liberty High School. While growing up, Dr. Weber was an avid gymnast and attended several gymnastics clubs throughout the northland including Kansas City Gymnastics School, Mercury Gymnastics, and Edge Gymnastics. She earned a full-ride athletic scholarship to Northern Illinois University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Dentistry where she graduated at the top of her class and received a number of awards and scholarships for her excellence in academics and research. Following dental school she completed her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at UMKC School of Dentistry, while also earning a Master of Science in Oral Biology.
Dr. Weber is an active member of several professional organizations at the local, state, and national levels including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, Greater Kansas City Orthodontic Society, and Midwest Society of Orthodontists.Dr. Weber also works as the chief orthodontist at Childrens Mercy Hospital.
Dr. Ashlee Weber, formerly Ashlee Williams, is married to Dr. Max Weber who is also a native of the North Kansas City area and attended Oak Park High School. Together they have 2 children. Away from the office, Dr. Weber loves to spend time with her family, friends, and two dogs. She enjoys traveling, running, snowboarding, and wakeboarding.

Dr. Weber and her team are amazing!! They made the entire process so easy and they were always so accommodating of our crazy schedules. I wouldn't recommend anyone else in the Kansas City area. They are the BEST!!

Our three children saw Dr Weber for braces. She did an excellent job on their smiles, her staff was friendly and very accommodating, they worked with our insurance and had an easy and economical payment plan. I was thrilled to see she has expanded her practice to Kearney Missouri and would recommend her to anyone seeking braces!

We were extremely satisfied with the entire braces and retainer process for our older child. Now our second child is in braces, again with Dr. Weber, and I'm even toying with the idea of straightening my teeth next! Dr. Weber and her staff are all professional, friendly, and accommodating. The price I've had to pay after my insurance coverage has also been very reasonable. There's no reason why I wouldn't recommend Dr. Weber!

We are from Utah and are here in Missouri for our spring break. Our son ran out of his elastics, so we stopped here to see if we could buy some from your office. They happily gave us some elastics (for free!) and then said "thank you for wearing your elastics!" What a great experience. Thank you!

We are just now starting braces for our second child. Our first Christmas had braces with Dr. Weber and we couldn't be more satisfied. We can't imagine taking our children anywhere else to get the care they need.

I will be recommending Dr. Weber to anyone I know. She has been extremely helpful in the process. She also makes time to help her staff out in keeping up with patients coming in.
