Dr. Carlin Weaver is one of the select few board-certified orthodontists in the area. She grew up in Swampscott and attended Tufts for both dental school and orthodontic residency, where she graduated at the top of her dental school class and was president of her residency class. She received the prestigious Ten Under Ten award by the Massachusetts Dental Society, has been featured in Boston Magazine as a Top Dentist for five consecutive years, and is a faculty member at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Weaver has completed additional training in orthodontics for sleep disordered breathing and sleep apnea - she is passionate about helping people breathe! She loves technology and the convencince it offers for her patients - she is a Diamond Plus Invisalign provider, offers Dental Monitoring to allow more flexibility for her patients, and uses custom, clear 3D printed Lightforce braces. She loves her family, studying orthodontics, and baking!
Dr. Buck Weaver attended Emory Dental School and practiced as a dentist in the U.S. Navy before studying orthodontics at Boston University. He lives in Swampscott with his wife, Casey, has three grown kids -- one who is his boss :)-- and enjoys cheering for his beloved Boston sports teams, scuba diving, and playing with his grandson. He is known all around town for being a kind, gentle soul - and Dr. Carlin will never tire of hearing Your dad is sooo nice!.
Alicialoves being a part of the Weaver Ortho team! She is a graduate of Lincoln Techs dental assisting program and is both radiology and infection control certified. She loves watching patients progress through treatment and build more confidence through their evolving smile! When shes not at the office you can catch her trying new vegetarian recipes, gardening and venturing out with her new husband!
Kristina graduated from the dental assisting program from North Shore Community College in 2015. Shes passionate about helping patients while carrying a calm and patient attitude . When shes not working with patients she loves spending time with her husband and her two sons.
Sarah brings the energy every day! Her upbeat and friendly personality will instantly put you at ease. In addition to being our clinical coordinator and directing the show backstage, Sarah runs the Weaver Easy Track program our at home dental scanning system. The only thing she loves more than seasonally-flavored coffee and TV show The Office is the light of her life her son!
Carmen has been working in the field for 30 years. She loves the craft of orthodontics and seeing the growth and transformation in people's smiles. Her family is the center of her life. Carmen also enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her two handsome boys!
Kelly has been working in our office since 1986 and has helped Weaver Ortho become the amazing place it is today. Kelly is always optimistic, always smiling, and always willing to do whatever she can to help out and make you comfortable. She is incredibly active and can run circles around everyone else in the office! Kelly enjoys spending time with her children and husband skiing, spending time at the beach and running in the woods.
Megan is new to the world of dentistry but is excited to learn all she can. She graduated Salem State University in 2020 with a BFA in Stage Management for the Theatre and uses all she learned in coordinating a show to coordinate the day to day needs at the front desk. When not working, Megan loves trying new board games and playing with her cat Mona Lisa.

The team at Weaver made everything go as smoothly as possible. My daughter had some complex issues that required more than one treatment. The positive and cheerful atmosphere of everyone who treated her definitely helped my daughter to keep a positive attitude through everything, and she is now so pleased with her beautiful smile!

Simply Outstanding! As an older client, I had anticipated some discomfort in my initial assessment- and was delighted to be wrong! Not only was my reception warm and welcoming, but I was reassured and listened to carefully about my concerns and wishes. The sensitivity and responsivity of the staff and Dr. Weaver is unparalleled. I felt supported throughout the years of this dental procedure which included the pandemic, which they managed brilliantly. While I believe their reputation as the friendliest practice in town is well-known, what is even more remarkable is their collective competence. They are supremely skilled and thoughtful, and I offer them my highest recommendation with a perfected smile!

I highly recommend Weaver Orthodontics! I just completed my Invisalign treatment and Dr. Weaver and her staff were wonderful. They made me feel very comfortable, they were extremely informative and they were flexible with appointments. My son also had his upper and lower palate expanders put it in at their office. He loved going his appointments with Dr. Weaver and made many book recommendations for the waiting area :). We always felt safe in the office due to their best practices and modifications concerning the Covid-19 pandemic. We have recently moved to California, but we continue to keep in touch with Dr. Weaver. Absolutely love Dr. Weaver and her team. I'm in my 30's and wanted Invisalign to straighten out my bottom teeth before my wedding. The team took the time to review different financial plans that worked best for me and worked with me on a timeline in order to get the best results. They even went above and beyond to remove the Invisalign anchors from my teeth before the wedding and then put them back on after. I will always recommend Dr. Weaver and team, they are amazing!!

I had an appointment this morning with Dr. Carlin Weaver. I was first given a tour of the office with Maddy. She is delightful and a very good representative for Weaver Orthodontics. Then I met with both Maddy and Alicia who took X-rays and went into possible treatment options. They were both extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Afterwards Dr. Carlin Weaver came in to examine me and let me know what options for treatment were open to me. I highly recommend Weaver Ortho. Staff was amazing. The office was very clean and the equipment was state if the art. I would recommend Dr. Weaver very highly. She is top notch!

As an adult, I was nervous to go to an orthodontist. They are for kids, aren't they?!! From the second I entered the office, I was greeted with kindness and professionalism. During my free consultation, Alicia explained everything in depth regarding Invisalign and the process and answered all my questions with knowledge. Dr Weavers office is one of the only that utilize at home scanning which limited my in office visits. I truly feel this technology allowed me to have the best results I could have wearing Invisalign. The entire staff was always pleasant and welcoming. Most of my visits were with Kelly, who was gentle and kind when working in my mouth. I was seen by Dr Weaver at every appointment. So much to say & love about Weaver Ortho. If I could I would give them a 1,00,00 star rating (and I guess I just did). Multiple friends recommended Weaver Ortho so I took my youngest son to Weaver. Love Weaver but was hoping this was my last ortho experience. My son had your run of the mill simple treatment. His teeth look awesome & I couldn't be happier. I had no idea just how important & intricate Dr. Weaver & her team where about to become to me. During my sons treatment my daughter had an accident which required extensive dental work & lots of monitoring. Once her dentist cleared her for braces I knew Weaver Ortho was our next step. Dr. Weaver & her team are nothing short of amazing! My daughters accident required more than braces but we didn't know this until almost a year into treatment. Dr. Weaver was very clear that might be the case from the very beginning. Dr. Weaver was all over it & she knew what needed to be done next to continue moving forward. She needed periodontal work that included bone graphs and other work. I had no idea where to even start. It was over whelming & my daughter had been through so much already. Dr. Weaver guided me through the whole process recommending the best of the best when certain issues required more than braces. Step by step Dr. Weaver & her team walked us through each phase & she monitored my daughters progress the whole way. Making sure appointments were coordinated at the perfect time because timing was of the essence due to the sensitive nature of the specialist visits. Sadly (even after periodontal work) one tooth was "frozen" and wouldn't move anymore. We were devastated! You could see Dr. Weaver was just as upset as my daughter & myself. We were so hopeful. What do we do now? We've come so far. But Dr. Weaver, like a super hero, yet again had a plan & recommended a dentist that specialized in dental bonding. Dr. Weaver & her team were so invested. Working with each specialist to make sure they knew what was going on with my daughter, the extent of trauma from the accident & what she was seeing & what the course of action should be. It's been 2 years since my daughters accident! On Monday my daughter got her "frozen" tooth bonded & today she was fitted for her final retainer. Dr. Weaver put all the pieces of the puzzle together. I can honestly say I don't think any other Orthodontist would have done a better job. I started with simple run of the mill braces for my son but it turned into a much more complex & intricate ordeal that went beyond braces with my daughter. My kids were (and still are) in the best hands. I love Weaver! I love Alicia & the entire staff! At times I talked to the Weaver team more than my own family. You will not find a better Orthodontist or team for your ortho needs. I'm grateful to Dr. Weaver & her team for their support, knowledge, kindness & thoroughness. I know I already said it but They are nothing short of amazing.

This is such a great office! I cannot say anything but good things. Every single person that I met here was so nice and welcoming! Very professional and clean environment. Super accommodating to find an appointment that fit my schedule. The staff truly cares about you as a patient, making you feel comfortable during your visits. My teeth have never looked better and I have Weaver Orthodontics to thank!

This is a sales oriented experience so be ready for that! They recommended a medical procedure for my daughter and after they were pushy we went out and got multiple opinions. Well wouldn't you know it, no one else recommended the medical procedure. This is a Chop Shop. Buyer beware!

This is the easiest review I have written in my life. I had braces as a teenager and as time went on so did my teeth. So as someone in their 50s I decided too straighten out what I had lost. Well let me tell you technology has come a long way. I tried the Invisalign retainers with Weaver Orthodontics in Swampscott. Very easy simple technology to use. They said the key to using the system was to just wear the retainers when not eating. Not only did they work I ended up finishing early by a few months. My teeth came out absolutely perfect. The office has a great vibe too it and every time the discussion comes up about my braces I can't say enough good things about it. I have and will always be their biggest fan.
