Our dental practice first started serving the infants, children, and teenagers of the Orange Park and Jacksonville areas over 38 years ago. Since then, we have grown into two office locations: our original location in Orange Park, FL, and our newer location in St. Johns, FL. The experienced staff at both locations continues to care for each patient as if they were our own children. Each and every one of our team members loves children and is committed to giving your child the highest quality dental care in a warm and welcoming environment.
We strive to create a partnership with the parents of our patients in order to work together to improve your childs oral health. We want to create patient relationships built on trust and understanding to remove any potential fear or discomfort. Your children are in good hands with our pediatric dentists, orthodontist, and staff.
Dr. Gerald Weaver attained his Bachelor of Science Degree and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Florida. He then completed his Pediatric Dental Residency at the Children's Medical Center of Dayton, Ohio.
He and his wife have been a part of the First Coast community since 1981. They have three sons, six grandchildren, and three dogs. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his grandkids, playing golf, fishing, reading, or following Florida Gator sports and the Tampa Bay Rays!

Dr. Michael Stratton obtained his undergraduate degree at Transylvania University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Kentucky. He then completed his Pediatric Dental Residency at the Childrens Medical Center of Dayton, Ohio. He and his wife live in Orange Park with their two children. They are grateful for having such a wonderful community in which to raise their children. He has been a member of Orange Park Presbyterian Church since 1986, and is currently an elder there. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and tinkering around the house with his tools. He loves University of Kentucky sports, especially their basketball team. He has been a Jacksonville Jaguars season ticket holder since 1995, when the team began.

This is the best Pediatric Dentistry! My eldest child had one visit at another practice and we sought out other options. We have never tried another one because we have no need to! Dr. Stratton is we usually see, but all of the office staff and hygienists are friendly and welcoming every time. They have always shown patience and gentleness with my child's fears/concerns about a cleaning or procedure. I have referred it to many friends and never once heard a complaint! I know the pandemic has made things busier, but this office is worth waiting to get into. They are also good about utilizing the waiting list if you want to snag a cancelled appointment before your scheduled one. Again, they are worth the wait!

I went here when I was a child, and now I take my son! My son is autistic, and the staff are understanding and made him comfortable and welcomed for his first dental exam. Love this place!

Not only did I see Dr. Stratton as a kid, but now my son does! He chipped his tooth at daycare Monday, and they scheduled us for this morning to have it looked at. Dr. Stratton and his team were so awesome (as they always have been). They were really patient with my 16.5 month old. Dr. Stratton explained the concerns while also explaining that everything could be perfectly fine. My son chipped his tooth enough to where the nerve is showing a little. He will be re-evaluated in 6-8 weeks. Left the office with a full heart abs confidence knowing that he will always be taken care of.

We had our first visit for one of my daughters this afternoon, and wow, I'm completely in love with this office! As a child, I had a few terrible experiences and always dreaded going to the dentist, but this office is absolutely amazing! Dr. Stratton is hands down one of the best dentists I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He made all 3 of my girls feel welcomed and comfortable, even though only 1 of them had an appointment. He was very patient and informative as was his staff. Cannot express my satisfaction enough. 10/10 would recommend!!

I saw Dr. Stratton as a child, and now I have the pleasure of taking my son to see him as well! Office staff was so incredibly friendly today for his new patient exam. My son was thrilled about the TVs in the ceiling and was giggling through his whole exam, and took a liking to his sweet assistant who walked him around so I could finish paperwork and found him the last Mickey Mouse sticker!

I can not recommend this place enough! They were ahead of schedule, took less than an hour to clean, X-ray, and examine my 3 kids. It was the most painless dentist experience I have ever had! They kids loved it and everyone was so friendly! I highly recommend!

Had a scare with my 11-month old last night - she fell and hit her first tooth hard enough to make her gums bleed. They have an emergency line that I was able to call last night for immediate assistance. They helped us right away even though my daughter wasn't a formal patient yet (she had had her initial appointment scheduled for next week but wasn't fully in their system). They also worked really hard to get us in today. Everyone at the office was very pleasant and good with my daughter. Dr. Weaver explained everything very well and immediately put me at ease. He and his staff made sure I got all my questions answered and did not rush us at any point. So glad I found this practice!

Staffs and doctors are very friendly and really know how to treat kids. The whole place is clean and seats are well arranged to practice social distancing. This us our first time and they just earned our trust. We are very much satisfied and happy and will be seeing you again after 6months.

We love Weaver & Stratton! My daughters were scheduled for their annual cleaning. Prior to their appointment I received a detailed email outlining the steps the office has taken in preparation for all of the children's arrival to keep the office clean and safe. Mask were required upon entry. We were greeted at the door by a sweet young lady who had me complete a covid questionnaire for both of my daughters. We also had our temperatures checked. The play area for the kids was closed. That's the first place my 5 year old would always go to as soon as we would walk through the door. The seats were all placed at least 6 feet apart. The waiting area was not crowded and their was even a little waiting area outside the office. As always, the girls were called promptly to the back for their appointments. Check out was a breeze as usual! The dental assistant calls the parent to the back area to update them on the kid's visit and informs them of the plans for the next visit. Setting the follow up appointments are done with the child's age in mind and your personal schedule to make sure the date is fit for everyone. Thank you to all of the sweet friendly staff for being professional and helpful. See you soon!

I have been taking my son to this location since he was able to go to the dentist. I have never ever had a bad experience. They have always been super accommodating. My son has a horrible gag reflux due to severe GERD he has vomited all over the place during xrays and they never once made him feel like he was the bad guy. Also having to have sealants we had to make multiple attempts due to his gag reflux as well and the staff and Doctor Stratton has always been super calm and understanding. Hands down the best pediatric dentist.
