Dr. Hope Thomas-Glavin, known as Dr. Glavin by most of her patients, is a 1989 graduate of Oklahoma University College of Dentistry. In 1990 she completed her General Practice Residency training at the former Wilmington Hospital, now Christiana Care Health Systems. She is currently on staff at CCHS where she is an Attending for the Dental Residents and retains Operating Room privileges.
Dr. Thomas-Glavin practiced in Dover for three years before relocating to the Pike Creek Valley to practice with Dr. Ed Rohrbaugh. She has now been providing excellent family and cosmetic dentistry in Pike Creek for over 20 years. Early in her career as a dentist in Wilmington, Delaware Dr. Glavin worked with the New Castle County Vo-Tech programs in various capacities; first, as an instructor for Howard and Del Castle High Schools. Following the teaching position, she went on in an advisory capacity, helping set curriculum and evaluation standards for the New Castle County Vo-Tech schools statewide. She was instrumental in the ground-breaking development of the Wellness Clinics in Wilmington public high schools. She received recognition from Delawares Governor Carpers administration, being awarded for Outstanding Participation from the General Sector.
Dr. Glavin belonged to the Kent and Sussex Dental Society, where she served as their secretary for two years. As she continued her dental career in Wilmington, she served as secretary for the Delaware Chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry, and currently serves on the Delaware State Dental Societys Access to Care Committee. Among her volunteer opportunities of the past 25 years, Dr. Thomas-Glavin has served Wilmington citizens in Colgate Give Kids A Smile, Pierre Toussaint Clinic, and Special Olympics Delaware. She frequently speaks at local preschools and MOPS groups to encourage good dental habits among our youngest of citizens. She has traveled around the world to provide dental services for those less fortunate. Dr. Glavin is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Special Care Dentistry Association, and Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Recently Dr. Thomas-Glavin opened Practice Without Pressure Pike Creek. PWP Pike Creek is the first stand alone practice and procedure facility using the techniques pioneered by Robert Wood Johnson Foundation award winning Practice Without Pressure, Inc. PWP takes its name from a unique practice model that allows people with special needs to receive medical and dental care in a routine setting with simple dignity and respect that they deserve but often do not receive. I would give this place 15/10 stars if I could. There's so many nice things I could say. From the first phone call, the ladies Dani and Ashley at the front desk were knowledgeable, professional and helpful. They got me in in a timely manner and helped explain my insurance to me. Next, Vicky, the technician, was accommodating and made me feel so comfortable. She was easy to talk to and helped make sure that the service would be affordable for me-- as I was experiencing a financial hardship. Next, Dr. Thomas-Glavin was immediately warm and welcoming. She made a decision that might have not benefited her to the best extent but instead did what was the best for ME. She went above and beyond to get me taken care of on the same day of service, as she was aware I drove an hour and a half to get there. The next day, I even got a phone call asking if I was healing up okay. I could not recommend this place enough, they were my saving grace when I needed them and I will even continue to travel an hour and a half to continue my service there because I enjoyed it so much!

Dr. Glavin and staff are so nice and accommodating. I have been going to Weatherhill Dental for many years and have been most happy with the care I receive. I have had a couple of emergencies recently where I was seen very quickly and taken care of by Dr. Glavin. She is very caring and always checks up on me.

I took my granddaughter to Weatherhill Dental associates today and I brought her in for a checkup and teeth cleaning, but what she got was a lesson on God. It was the dental hygienist who told her that Xylo Sweet was tested and proven to cure and prevent Covid. Not to mention the fact she wanted to leave and they would not let her or even come tell me she was upset. How dare you hold her against her will. She had to text me to get help. It was over an hour and not one person came to tell me anything. After Dawn found out I was her grandmother she took it upon herself to interrogate her about her biological mother. STAY AWAY. Dawn should be ashamed of herself.

They were awful and pompous people. I am investigating them and looking to shut them down forever. Semi corrupt as well, high powered exec kids work there, satanic lefty type people. really weird and my bondings are all falling apart because they use the weak glue and not enough of it. Avoid and shut down this business at all costs they are hurting people.

Very rude schedulers and bad communicators . I took off from work and was not aware of a 10 min grace period. I called to let them know I was running 10 mins late and they told me I would need to reschedule again ! after Mishearing me on why I was going to be late. She thought I said I was going to be 20 mins late instead of what I explained about me living 20 mins and the issues with my gps. Still waiting on a call from a supervisor...
