William C Roddy, DDS was born in Dallas, Texas. He graduated with honors from the University of New Mexico in 1975 and received his Doctoral Degree of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa in 1979.

After completion of dental school, Dr. Roddy reported for duty in the United States Navy. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1979-1999, retiring at the rank of Captain. During his Naval dental career, Dr. Roddy completed a Prosthodontics Fellowship and Comprehensive Postdoctoral Residency. Other tours included shipboard duty, co-directing a post-doctoral training program, specialty board examiner, research, and attended graduate program in Business Administration.

Dr. Roddy is a diplomate of the Federal Services Board of General Dentistry, and 1 of 700 diplomates of the American Board of General Dentistry. He is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, Fort Worth Academy of General Dentistry, and the Southwest Prosthodontic Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Dental Implant Association. Dr. Roddy is a fellow of the American College of Dentists and a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.Dr. Roddy also gives lectures to other dentists across the country on dental implants and has placed over 5,000 dental implants. He also has lectured on Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center Continuing Education Program for the last 10 yearsandwill be lecturing at the Texas Dental Meeting in May 2018.

Dr. Roddy resides in the Fort Worth area with his wife, Paula (his high school sweetheart). Paula is a professor in the Business Department at Weatherford College . His son, Gavin, has his M.D./Ph.D. and is a physician at the Mayo Clinic. Heresides with his wifeand three kidsin Minnesota.His daughter, Ashlin, is a graphic designer and lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and three kids.

I came to Dr. Roddy for a tooth implant based on a recommendation from another patient. I have extreme anxiety when having dental work done. Dr. R and his staff were very patient and kind. The shots to numb me were absolutely painless. He doesn't accept insurance which I was ok with. The implant still cost about 4k less than other dentists that accept my insurance. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Roddy and his staff.

Super positive experience. Dr Roddy is easy going and I enjoyed him. I have sensitive teeth and metal tools that scrape are normally a nightmare for me. Rachel did such a great job, I didn't need sedation to get a cleaning. No zingers. Rachel is awesome. That's the first time I had an easy cleaning.. Also, I paid cash and found their prices very affordable. I highly recommend this dental office. Especially if you don't like dentists, you'll be fine here.

PAIN AND MONEY - LOTS OF BOTH with dr. roddy If you like to spend a lot of money for a lot of pain, this is the right dentist for you. When there is a problem with his work or you're in pain, its always the patient's fault. To add insult to injury, he likes to belittle you with all of his self-important grand knowledge of dentistry. The photo shows a Cerec crown which Dr. Roddy placed about 2 years ago. I questioned the durability of this ceramic crown vs. a gold crown, but he, as well as, his staff assured me that the Cerec crown was just as durable. He added that if anything happened to the crown, they would just replace it under their warranty. As you can see in the photo, a perfect square shaped piece of the crown sheered off the side of the tooth when I was eating a thin crust veggie pizza. When I called about replacement, he refused. Now that's one heck of a guarantee! In fact, anytime I called with an issue about his work, I was told there would be a charge just for him to check his defective work. When I first saw Dr. Roddy, I needed an implant and I had a filling that needed to be redone. Other than that, my teeth were doing just fine. Instead of redoing the filling, he insisted that it needed a crown and that's the tooth in the photo with the broken crown that he refuses to replace. I spent $4664 with this guy and I've had trouble with my teeth ever since. It has the biggest mistake of my life. Don't let it be yours.

Dr Roddy is the greatest dentist in the world! Kelly is like a wizard with implants, she can and will get it shaped right and cemented in. There are other employees that make the little old building glow as well, BUT the receptionist, (will call her Ms A) has always rubbed me the wrong way. She has a poor attitude, fake with her delivery and could possibly hurt herself with her rolling of the eyes and various other negative gestures she has compiled. She is the person who gets you the first step in the door and responsible for the last most terrifying part of the dentist office-the BILL...MEANY stuck up Individual. DR RODDY is worth putting up with THAT BS! That should speak volumes to his character, technique, talent, & knowledge of his craft. L

Great staff and great dentist. They provide great service and great communication in an age when most companies are doing everything they can to avoid you. My previous dentist didn't answer the phone or return voicemail messages. He also thought I would sit there for an hour after my appointment time - not happening - He got fired. This office gets 5 stars

Very caring staff. Dr. Roddy is always careful and considerate in how he treats patients. Everyone there is very friendly, which is good for a dentist office.

Really nice staff. Excellent service and comfortable setting. I have to admit that I am one of those who is overly anxious and do not want to go to a dentist office. Dr. Roddy and his staff have taken great care in designing an office and atmosphere that is comfortable. I highly recommend them.
