Dr.Tulkki is originally from Cold Spring, MN. He attended Gustavus Adolphus College prior to entering dental school at the University of Minnesota. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2001 from the University of Minnesota Dental School. He had three years of restorative dentistry experience before pursuing two years of specialty training in endodontics. He received his Masters of Science and Certificate in Endodontics in 2006 from the University of Minnesota. While completing his residency his research focus was antibacterial properties of irrigating solution on bacterial biofilms. In 2010, Dr. Tulkki received board certification from the American Board of Endodontists, a distinction pursued by approximately 40% of the endodontists in the country. He is a past president of the Minnesota Endodontic Association.
In addition to clinical practice, he has been involved with the University of Minnesota Dental School while teaching, lecturing, and participating in multiple Jamaica dental missions. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists, Minnesota Association of Endodontists, and the American Board of Endodontists.
Dr. Brasser was born and raised in Madison, WI. He earned his B.A. in Chemistry from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN. Subsequently, he attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After dental school, Dr. Brasser was accepted into the Endodontic residency at the University of Iowa, where he spent an additional two years of specialty training to receive his certificate in Endodontics. He then relocated to the Twin Cities.
Dr. Brasser is a member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontists. In 2017 he became a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Brasser resides in Eden Prairie with his wife and four children. In his free time, Dr. Brasser enjoys spending time with his family, running, and playing tennis. He also enjoys camping, fishing, and spending time in the great outdoors.
Regina is our Office Manager and Professional Relationship Director. She came to Wayzata Endodontics with a background in the medical field and customer service; she works in all aspects of our office and understands the patients needs. Regina is knowledgeable, personable, and ready to make your visit pleasant and efficient. Regina resides in Clearwater and enjoys all things outdoors; hiking, camping, hunting, and playing with her dog, Ruger.
Katie is the newest member of our team working as our Front Desk Receptionist. Katie may be new but is quickly learning the aspects of the dental field and our office demeanor that the number one priority is patient care. Her kind and caring personality comes through when answering any and all patient questions or talking with a referring office to make sure we take care of every need. Outside of the workplace Katie spends her time with friends and family and is expecting the arrival of her baby girl in July 2021.
Seri joined our office this summer after graduating from Bemidji State University with her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She plans to apply for Dental School at the University of Minnesota in fall 2022. From assisting the doctors to helping when needed at the front desk, her fun outgoing personality fits our office demeanor well and helps each patient feel comfortable from beginning to end of their visit. Seri is from Hibbing and moved to the cities to pursue her dental career, in her free time she enjoys spending time at the cabin hunting, fishing, and enjoying the lake in the summertime.
Liza graduated from Minneapolis Community and Technical College with her degree in dental assisting. She has been a dental assistant for over ten years and assists Dr. Tulkki at our office. Lizas calm, attentive and caring personality helps alleviate patients nerves to make them feel relaxed during each visit. Liza resides in Medina and enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and being active with her church.
Katelyn graduated from Hennepin Technical College with a degree in dental assisting, she joined Wayzata Endodontics after graduation and has been Dr. Brassers assistant ever since. Katelyn takes the lead for our office ordering and making sure our dentists have everything to meet your needs; her outgoing, kind personality always delivers amazing patient care. Katelyn resides in Waconia with her husband and dog Gemma. She enjoys hanging out with friends and family in her spare time.
