Born and raised in Ukraine. She graduated from Kiev Medical University and received her degree in Dentistry. During her career she practiced in hospitals in Archangelsk-55, Russia and also in private dental practices in Sevastopol, Ukraine as a General Dentist for 14 years. After moving to the United States, she pursued her dental hygiene license and worked as a dental hygienist in Deltona, FL. In 2008 she was accepted into the University of Florida Internationally Educated Dental Program and graduated in May, 2010. She is a member of Academy of General Dentistry, Florida Dental Association, & American Dental Association. Dr. Lyudmila Onyski opened Wayside Family Dental in 2012. Herhobbies outside of dentistry include reading, movies, exercising, knitting, & sewing.

Great clinic. Dr.Onisky is highly experienced dentist, she always tries to save your teeth and do everything she can to keep you from loosing teeth. There is no waiting time during all my visits.

Wayside Family Dental clinic is the best! Very caring and accommodating staff. Really no waiting time with scheduled apointments. I have been completely satisfied with all my expectations. I like that they tell you approximate expense after diagnostic procedures and before they start a treatment. Dr. Onyski is a great dentist, who only wants the best for her patients. She explains everything about the procedure and will try to avoid costly interventions. She takes time to explain what to expect after the procedure. I trust Dr. Onyski like no others dentist. I was looking for a new dentist in the area (as I am from PA) and in making calls to different dentists offices I found they either would not return calls if they were not gonna make money off you or they could not give you an exact cleaning cost with X rays because you may need deep cleaning, etc. I found a lot of the offices were like that - what a gimmic! When I called Wayside Dental, she was up front with cost out of pocket for my cleaning; and mentioned if you are someone who has regular cleanings you do not normally need deep cleaning (which was me). Sounds like these offices around here want to nickle and dime you for things you don't really need. I was so comfortable with the office staff at Wayside as we talked on the phone. I just had my first visit with them on Monday. I am always anxious going to a dentist and going somewhere new - they immediately made me feel comfortable, Dr. O was very kind, and Teresa my hygienist was super kind and nice and made sure I was comfortable and addressed any concerns, and did a good cleaning. There was no push of needing anything unnecessary. Definitely will be a repeat customer.

I have been going to Wayside for a while now and I have waited to write this review. Dr. Onyski and her team are the best I have ever seen!!! They are the most polite and wholesome people you will ever meet!! I do my regular cleanings here and had to get my wisdom teeth extracted earlier this year. I did not go to an oral surgeon because the price was crazy, and I was nervous about the whole process, but she was amazing!! It took longer with my teeth than we thought but they were super patient, and I was under laughing gas and out of it, so I was probably a lot to handle (oops I am sorry). But even after the extractions, I came back for check ups because I was super nervous, and I just needed to hear I was healing okay, and they were phenomenal and so sweet about it!! I saved SO much money and had a phenomenal service / post care. They are super caring about your dental health and go above and beyond in showing that! I recently was having some gum issues and was able to stop by for a few mins before my work shift so she could check it out and let me know some next steps. BEST DENTIST AND TEAM EVER!! Thank you all for your hard work!!
