My practice philosophy is to provide the highest quality of orthodontic care in a comfortable and caring environment. I find fulfillment in knowing that I can truly make a positive difference in some aspect of each of my patientslives. The ability to improve ones smile, health and outlook on life is very rewarding.
I was born and raised here in the Santa Clara Valley. During my childhood years, I lived in San Jose and spent my summers working on my parents vegetable farm in Mountain View. During high school, I played the alto sax and was on the basketball and track teams.
After graduating from San Jose High School, I spent the next fouryears at UCLA, where I earned my Bachelor of Science. Although I enjoyed Southern California, I really wanted to return home to the Bay Area. The next 6 years were spent at the UCSF School of Dentistry for my dental and orthodontic training. I met my lovely wifeJeanniewhile I was in dental school. We were married in 1992, and soon after, we adopted our first puppy, Kobi,from the Santa Clara Humane Society.
Jeannieis a periodontist whose practice isin Fremont. We have twowonderful sons, Kyle and Derek. They have kept us busy outside our practices with all their activities, but we are now empty nesters sinceour boys are attending colleges out of the area.

Inge has worked in dentistry for nearly 35years and has been with Dr. Hane since 2012. She enjoys meeting new people and seeing the results of their transformed smiles. She loves being part of a friendly and committed team that is devoted to helping others.
Inge loves spending time with her husband Michael, son Erik and his wife Rebekah, daughter Kristen, and son Luke. Inge is a native of Santa Clara, and really enjoys exercising and working out at the gym. She loves hiking and cycling with her husband on weekends. She is committed to having a healthy lifestyle and cooking nutritious meals. They have a happy yellow Labrador named Lexi, who brings them so much joy. Exploring new places and travel are some of Ingesfavorite pastimes.
Lori began her career in dentistry in 1991 and has been working with Dr. Hane since 1997. She feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to build so many relationships with so many wonderful families at our office for more than20 years.
Lori was born and raised in San Jose. She loves spending time with her husband Darren and three dogs. She also loves visiting her two beautiful daughters and three grandchildren. In her spare time, Lori enjoys hiking and going on bike rides with Darren on nice sunny days.
Michelle joined the dental field in 1989 and became a part of Dr. Hanes team in 1999. She loves getting to know all our patients and families and especially enjoys knowing shes helped create so many beautiful smiles.
Michelle was raised in Willow Glen and graduated from Willow Glen High School. She loves spending time with her boyfriend Tim in the outdoors. Michelle also enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Karen was born and raised in San Jose. She has two older brothers who still live in the area with their families. Karen is a proud graduate of Willow Glen High School. She worked for a communications company before switching to a career in the dental field. She spends much of her spare time with her four boys. She loves to go for rides to the beach with herboyfriend Danon his Harley. They enjoy their favorite restaurants, having barbecues, hiking, and wine tasting.
Tina began her career in dentistry in 1988. She became part of Dr. Hane's team in 2000. She worked with Dr. Hane for 6 years and took a few years off to stay at home with her two sons. She enjoys getting to know our patients and families and being a part of a great team that helps create their beautiful smiles.
Tina was born and raised in San Jose. She loves spending time with her husband Scott, her two sons Scotty and Sammy and her two dogs Bailey and Bogey. Tina enjoys the ocean, wine, baking, gardening, Disney, vacations with her husband and sons, taxiing her boys and their friends around town to many fun adventures and spending time with family and friends.
I decided to become a Registered Dental Assistant after high school.I have now been in the field for 19 years. I have worked for all kinds of specialists throughout my career. Being fluent in English and Spanish has helped me along way.
I have been married for 18 wonderful years. When I'm not working, I enjoy outdoor activities. My husband and I love to do volunteer work, we're Bible teachers. I also love spending time with family and friends, and i'm a big animal lover. We've rescued different animals over the years.
Dr. Hane and our experienced team are committed to providing the highest quality of clinical care and personalized service in a warm and compassionate atmosphere. We enjoy getting to know each patient and thefamily, and love creating relationships that last multiple generations.

I went here for my child and in the start it was pretty well until the time they removed his braces and they did not give him his retainer on time and made him wait two weeks. After he told them that his teeth were very sensitive and it will move back a lot, as dentist and Dr. Hane suggested and said no it will be fine and delayed it for 2 weeks. After it moved, and the retainer was added, it did not change back to the straightness it was immediately after braces were removed. I personally wouldn't come back here for any child as that experience was done unprofessionally.

Love this place! Dr. Hane and his staff are awesome! For the consult Dr. Hane was very thorough and informative. I love how they have little competitions/games for parents and the kids - so engaging! I recommend this office for anyone who needs braces, adults and kids alike.

Our son Brian is Autistic. He feels comfortable and happy to have Dr. Hane and his staff work on his braces. Everyone is kind, understanding and friendly. Thank you for the great care.

Dr. Hane and his staff are the best! I have two sons one has an appliance in his mouth getting checked until he's ready for braces and one who had his first phase of braces a couple years ago and now has his full braces. Both of my boys look forward to their appointments and always ask when their next appointment is. We all feel very welcome and important when we walk in. Always greeted with a hello and smile and the girls in the back are so nice to the boys. They carry on conversations and I hear them laughing. Makes me happy for their experience as well as mine. Dr. Hane is always so friendly and really cares about his patients and their families. He takes the time to ask questions and listens to what they have to say. Communication is so important and we get that here. This office is the complete package and we definitely recommend it. Keep up the great work!!!

Update: They've been able to schedule appointments for after school, so raised my rating to 5 stars. Service continues to be excellent overall. Old review: Service is great but appointment times are limited to mornings and early afternoons primarily. Forced to pull my daughters from school repeatedly because they don't have appointments outside of school hours. It's a solid practice otherwise, but be prepared for your child to miss a lot of classes.

My son had an oral tumor removed and got referred to Dr. Hane for braces. My son's case is very complicated but Dr. Hane and staff have handled it very well. They are very professional, responsible, and friendly. The clinic is very clean and well sanitized. Working in medical field, I am very strict about this issue. I have had experiences with at lest 6 dentists and orthodentists, and this is the only clinic that, I believe, meets the standards of sanitation procedures. In the other clinics, the dentists/orthodentists and staff even do not wash their hands between patients; so they may not do appropriate disinfection methods for dental devices and saliva ejectors. Dr. Hane is not more expensive than other orthodontists, but the quality of service is much better than others. To my opinion, if you want the best orthodontist with the best sanitary condition for your children, go to Dr. Wayne Hane. Thank you so much Dr. Hane and entire staff for your wonderful care, patience, and dedication you have given to my son.

Dr. Wayne Hane and his staff are the bomb! He is thorough and explains your problems and treatment needs. His office is nicely decorated with a friendly atmosphere. As an adult who wants to improve my smile, I feel comfortable with every aspect of my treatment and interactions with the doctor and staff. I highly recommend Dr. Wayne Hane for your perfect smile.
