Our lead orthodontist, Dr. Muhammad Abey, is firm believer in the importance of treating patients like family. He promotes a comfortable and positive environment within our office to deliver world class orthodontics to our patients. With a passion for the beautification of smiles, Dr. Abey has over 20 years of dental experience and over 10 years of orthodontic education in the United States of America.
Dr. Abey is a Circassian-American who is actively engaged in the local community. Dr. Abey was raised in the Middle East and went to his homeland in the Caucasus region of Russia to pursue his dream of becoming an orthodontist. Dr. Abey received dental degrees at both Moscow State University in Russia and New York Universitys College of Dentistry. He then went on to complete his post-graduate orthodontic residency program at New York University. In addition to orthodontic specialty training, Dr. Abey received a certificate of education that allowed him to work as an adjunct clinical associate professor in New York Universitys orthodontic department. With many years of experience, a multi-cultural perspective, and hundreds of patients smiles transformed, you can be confident that you will be in good hands here at Wayne Family Orthodontics!

Just got my braces removed today. Life is divided into before and after. Now I have a perfect smile and I can't tear myself away from the mirror and stop smiling. Dr. Abey and all the clinic staff are amazing. Highly recommend!

I've never been at ease in the chair but in Dr. Abey's care, I felt at safe and fully relaxed. Before the journey I took with Dr. Abey , I was always embarrassed about my smile. Dr. Abey is a very good man who cares about the patient and not just the dollar. He always explained to me what was going on and helped me get the perfect smile I wanted. And the staff was always friendly and helpful would 10/10 recommend.

Dr. Muhammad Abey is the best orthodontist I've ever been to in New Jersey, seriously helped me throughout the whole process of changing my smile, when I first came to the office I had a severe underbite And all the orthodontists that I went to told me that there's no way to solve it but to go to surgery and when I went to his office I told him that I don't want to get a surgery and he found a solution to fix my teeth without doing the surgery and I'm so happy with the results of my teeth. Not only was he my orthodontist but he also influenced and motivated me to pursue further education in dentistry after completing my undergraduate years and mentored me during my visits to ways I can succeed in doing so. Also he has some of the best staff on his team shout out to Sabrina for always answering my questions and helping me out. I recommend anyone that wants to see great results and have an amazing to go to this office and I promise you won't regret it.

THE BEST!!! super friendly, knowledgeable and confident in what he does! He's very kind and makes you feel comfortable at all times. His staff is very nice. I never wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. The office is stylish and clean. I love Dr. Abey he is the besttttt!! so sad to be finished working with him. and my teeth look great! couldn't not have had a better experience.
