Composite and Amalgam fillings are the two most commonly used restorative materials. Unlike the metal amalgam fillings, composite fillings can be closely shade matched to your natural tooth colors. This allows for a more cosmetic and natural smile.
Filling materials are technique sensitive and must be placed with the utmost of care. Often times due to wear and diet these fillings can begin to erode and fracture. When this happens bacteria and food particles are able to occupy these microscopic spaces and form cavities beneath the filling. It is important to replace these fillings before damage can occur to the tooth structures.
A bride is another way of replacing an area where a tooth has been extracted or a space exists. In this process the two outer teeth are shaved down in preparation for crowns. The final product will be three crowns fused together allowing for an aesthetic replacement of the original space.

Not only would I highly recommend her as a dentist, but shes amazing at cosmetic dentistry also. She put 2 crowns on my front teeth and not one person knows shape and color are perfect!
Valerie began her love for the field back in high school as she joined a dental assisting program. She worked as a dental assistant for 5 years. She fell in love with the ability to provide dental healthcare for patients, and thats when she decided to do more. Val later on studied at New York University College of Dentistry and achieved her goal by becoming a dental hygienist.
She is now thrilled to be part of the Waverley Oaks Dental team. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is getting to know her patients and educate each patient about how to better their oral health while also encouraging improved overall health at the same time.

I have been going to Waverley Oaks Dental for the last 2 years and have received excellent dental care. The office is clean, staff are courteous, and the dentist is honest.

Of all of dentists I have gone to thru 20+ years of my life, Dr. Zarmani is at the top and will stay there ! She will NEVER suggest dental work that is not needed (as I have been exposed to ) You will NEVER need a second option . Her work is Amazing and shows in the quality and level of custom care you are given at each and every appointment . Natalia at the front will accommodate your appointments with ease and handle your insurance honestly and at your best interest . Plus the office is immaculate . not just clean Thank you again, Janis.

I had the fortune to have Dr. Zamani do my cleaning. She is a pro. She showed me how to use the "platypus" to floss the area of my mouth with braces, and she used a mirror to point out specific areas that need more attention. She did a very thorough job.

I have been seeing Dr. Zamani for the past three years, and in that time she has managed my needs (and they are extensive!) incredibly well. She cares deeply about my dental care, and brings a level of comfort, expertise and kindness to every visit. She has a deep network of referral doctors for more extensive needs, she works hard to arrange appointments around my schedule, she is great about following up, her support staff is very helpful coordinating with insurance providers, and they communicate clearly and often. Every dental need, no matter how minor, is treated with the same level of importance, and there is no question or request that goes unanswered. If you have a mouth, and that mouth has teeth, you should probably be going here.

I was afraid of the dentist until I got to Waverly Oaks. I took a chance; my boss referred me to them, and I went because I hadn't been in the better part of 5 years. I'm so glad I did. They make it so much more relaxed...they talk to you, keep you informed the entire time, and are very kind. I've never actually laughed at the dentist before but left every time feeling relieved and actually sort of relaxed? lol Thank you so much Dr. Zamani!

I wasn't sure how the dentist visit would be post-COVID 19 concerns. The office staff was very professional and careful to make sure all precautions for patient safety were followed. They have always had hand sanitizer at the door but now they put up Plexiglas shielding between the receptionist and the waiting room to help as well. Always a pleasure to receive top dental care from the best!
