Before I met with Dr. Watterworth, I had met with 3 other orthodontists around the seacoast. A couple of them, I wasn't impressed. One was rude and made sure I knew that he was "the boss". He recommended a palatal expander for crowding to which Dr. Watterworth was opposed to because it was just not the right approach. When he explained why, it made the most sense to me. The other one's approach was too radical for me, considering the age of my child. The 3rd one was conservative enough but when I met Dr. Watterworth and listened to his treatment plan, immediately I knew he was very careful not to rush things. As a dental professional, I know this is very important. Especially with Orthodontics, you have to let nature take its course at most times. There is Interceptive Orthodontics but it is also important to find the right time to do treatment on kids as long as it is in the window of time where their permanent teeth start to come out. The fact that he is very knowledgeable (he is the only Board-certified orthodontist among them all) in his field and that he was very cordial and professional made me choose him for my kids. He also came highly recommended by my boss who consults with him on cases that she's not so sure of whether someone got it right or not when it comes to Ortho issues. Check him out on the website of the American Board of Orthodontists. His name shows up while the names of the others I know of do not. Thanks, Dr. Watterworth for taking on my kids! Looking forward to working with you! The kids are happy that A> one does not need her palatal expander and B> the other doesn't need to have surgery to expose an unerupted tooth earlier than she has to. :) Keep up the good work, Dr. Watterworth!! We appreciate your commitment to the best care for the kids!!! A friendly staff doesn't hurt as well! Kudos to your team! :)

When my 3 children were finished with their treatment by Dr. Watterworth, I thought they should be in toothpaste ads. All 3 had completely different issues but all were done in a timely manner. The office runs on schedule, everyone is professional and put my kids at ease. Their teeth are beautiful. We are very fortunate to have Dr. Watterworth in this area. He is the BEST!!!!
