There is no greater satisfaction than doing my job very well. I strive to create the most attractive smile and great bite on every patient. This means no cutting corners and having fun in the journey of my patients treatment.
In order to become an orthodontist, I first attended Brigham Young University, where I attained my Bachelor of Science degree. I then went on to the Medical College of Virginia, where I graduated with my DDS. While in school, I was a part of the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, and received both the American College of Prosthodontist Award and the American Association of Orthodontist Senior Award. After dental school, I received my Orthodontic Certificate from Pierre Fauchard Academy in the Medical College of Georgia.
I seek out new continuing education on an annual basis in order to remain at the top of my field. I know my patients deserve the best treatments available, and my continuing education is the best way for me to ensure that they receive exactly that. As a part of my continuing education, I have received advanced training in mini implants for better results in orthodontic treatments. I have also participated in advanced training in soft tissue lasers for an improved cosmetic look to gums after orthodontic treatment.
After nearly sixteen years of practicing orthodontics, I feel it is an honor that people come to me for their orthodontic needs. I sincerely strive to treat each person like family. I love the friendships that I have made with generations of family members, and I love seeing how excited they get over the great changes they see in their smiles!
Our practice is a great place to visit, and our staff has a lot to do with that. Each one of them personally cares about patients, and for that reason we strive to see the patients in a timely manner. We also have great events for our patients! Our annual water slide party at Cowabunga Bay is always a big hit with our patients. We rent the park and have a private party for our friends of Watson Orthodontics.
I grew up in Sandy, Utah and truly enjoy living in Bluffdale. My wife Nicole and I have three daughters named Ellery, Kennedy, and Tessa. We also have two cats, Angel and Mixer, and a french bull dog named Louie. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, hiking, and riding four wheelers in the beautiful mountains of Utah.
Our community is very important to me, and I love volunteering for various organizations. I am an active participant in the annual bike ride in Logan in support of Multiple Sclerosis research. I am also active in the LDS church and served a mission to NYC where I learned Spanish. Currently I serve as a Board Member of the Utah Association of Orthodontists.

I am the financial coordinator at Watson Orthodontics andhave worked in the dental/medical field since 2007.I enjoy helping our patients with their insurance and financial arrangements. My job as financial coordinator isnt always very popular, but I love it when I can help our patients maximize their insurance benefits and create a workable financial plan.I am really happy to be a part of the Watson Orthodontic team.
Utah has been my home for most of my life. I love experiencing the changing seasons,viewing the beautiful scenery, and spending time with my family. My hubby and I have a blended family of 8 children, 9 beautiful and spunky grandchildren and 3 huge grandpuppies and they are my biggest joy.
Hello! I am the Marketing Manager and I absolutely love working with this team at Watson Orthodontics. I graduated with a degree in Interior Design so I love being creative. I am the one who does all of the monthly contests, staff parties, visits to your dentist, and our yearly patient appreciation party at Cowabunga Bay.
I have been working in the orthodontic field since 2006. I have been with Dr. Watson since 2009. Dr. Watson is a great boss to work for. He makes work fun and enjoyable. He can have fun but still keep the office at a professional level.

I knew there was a difference in a good orthodontist and a bad one but I did not know there was a difference in getting your kids teeth straight and having your kids teeth not only straight but amazingly beautiful in their smile. Dr Watson is so particular in where and how he places the brackets and tweaks the littlest things each time to ensure the teeth to be perfect. Needless to say, he isn't just a good orthodontist; he is a 10 out of 10, 5 gold star, amazing orthodontist!

So far so good. My two kids have only had braces a few months but everyone in the office has been super nice and responsive. Dr. Watson is nice and explains things well to the kids. Update: this office rocks. You can text them with any issues and they will get back to you. We had a weekend problem with my son's braces and they were willing to meet on the weekend to take care of it. Very cool! Another update: the kids have had their braces on for a year and we are still super happy with everything!

I've had this orthodontist since I was 13, they usually do a pretty good job and they were always nice when I was younger. Now when I go they aren't very welcoming. I had to get new permanent retainers about a month or two ago because over the last 9 years my original ones fell out. Today I had to go get one of them fixed because it had come undone within those two months. I definitely wasn't expecting them to make me pay to fix their mistake but it is what it is. Edit: An admin reached out and refunded seeing how new the retainer is fairly quickly. I'm appreciative they're so willing to work something out when there's a mistake. One of the best qualities to have as a business in my opinion!

Jamey Watson is the most patient and kind Orthodontist. He makes sure the teeth are perfect before he removes the braces. His staff is pleasant to be around and great with patients. I would definitely recommend him. My daughter couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks again!!

Dr. Watson is absolutely the best orthodontist! He is thorough, genuine and is great with my boys! So far he has corrected 3 of my 6 boys' crooked teeth and created their beautiful smiles! I have witnessed first-hand his ability to change a life in the most positive way. My older boys had a different orthodontist and there is a huge difference in the quality of work as well as the patient/dr. interaction. My boys look forward to their appointments and trust Dr. Watson and his staff 100%. I'm beyond grateful we have him to create our perfect smiles!
