When Dr. William Watkins founded the practice 45 years ago, he wanted to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Being both personally and professionally active in the community means doing what we can for the people who live here. In that vein, Dr. William Watkins has been instrumental in running a dental health program for over 20 preschool and daycare programs in the Wyoming Valley each year. Weve been providing this free service to the community for over 20 years.

Dr. Scott Watkins received his undergraduate degree from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA and his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry the leading organization in the world for cosmetic dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists the worlds largest dental implant organization. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association and Luzerne County Dental Society, and is a Board Member of the Luzerne County Dental Society.

Dr. Watkins is a graduate of the esteemed Misch International Implant Institute, the worlds most advanced training center in dental implantology, and completed advanced dental implant and surgical training at Esthetica Maxillofacial and Dental Hospital in Cairo, Egypt.

He has furthered his professional training through studies at the world-renowned Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Study for Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentistry and with Advanced Endodontic (root canal) Training with Dr. Steve Buchanan and Dental Education Laboratories.

Committed to ensuring his patients are comfortable and relaxed, Dr. Scott Watkins is one of a very small percentage of dentists nationwide qualified to administer Conscious Intravenous (IV) Sedation. He is also Invisalign certified and Zoom! Advanced Power Whitening certified.

Dr. Watkins is proud to contribute his professional knowledge and experience to support his local community; he provides complimentary dental exams for two local school districts and also volunteers his time at Wilkes University to coach and guide pre-professional students who are interested in the career of dentistry.

As an orthodontic specialist with his own primary practice located in Doylestown, PA, Dr. Adams has years of experience using traditional orthodontic treatments and techniques, as well as modern techniques like Invisalign, to give patients outstanding, beautiful smiles.

In addition to his own orthodontic practice and his time at Watkins Dental Group, Dr. Adams is also an active member of the teaching staff at Albert Einstein Medical Centers Department of Dental Medicine, where he teaches orthodontic practice and theory to graduate orthodontic residents. Dr. Adams has also been aCertified Invisalign Providerfor many years and has incorporated this technology in order to give his patients an alternative to fixed, traditional braces.

Kate (Raffensperger) Craig earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2013. She earned her Bachelors and Masters degree from the University of Delaware in 2007 and 2009 and is a 2003 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School in Lancaster, PA.

After graduation from dental school, Dr. Craig completed a General Practice Residency with Lancaster General Hospital. She then spent six years at Lancaster Health Center, a federally qualified health center in Lancaster, PA, where she was a National Health Service Corp member. She is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, where she is pursuing her Fellowship.

Dr. Craig and her family recently relocated to Northeast PA where her husband, Jeff Craig, grew up. They reside in Shavertown with their two children Colin and Claire, their dogs Sadie and Simon and their cats Gracie and Blue. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Craig enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing and traveling with her family.
