Dr. Leo Choe was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina before moving to Los Angeles, California in his teen years. He graduated from University of California Santa Barbara and continued his education at Tufts University School of Dentistry in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Choe comes from a family of dentistshis father practices in Seoul, South Korea, while his uncle practices in his hometown of Buenos Aires, Argentina. However, neither pressured him towards dentistry. Instead, Dr. Choes decision to pursue dentistry came from his fascination and the opportunity to restore a patients dental health. Dr. Choe firmly believes that every patient should receive a high standard of care, just as though he was treating a family member.
During his time off, Dr. Choe adventures with his wife, Jess, and their Boston Terrier, Music. Now living in Maine means there are new places to be seen and experiences to be had. If Dr. Choe is not spending time with his Jess and dog, he dedicates it to learning by taking courses and reading dental books.

Dr.Choe was amazing! 10/10 would recommend! This office gives you many options in order for you to get your prime dental care, without making you feel pressured into anything. I am 53, and I have experienced many dentists in my lifetime. I have hated all of my experiences, so this review is a BIG DEAL because I had to go to Dr. Choe to get 3 fillings done, and he fixed the problem very expediently and with empathy to my nervousness, and I left feeling extremely happy with his results! Dr. Choe is the best dentist I have ever had to see, and I am forlorn that it took so long in my life to actually have a pleasant experience.

Traci is the best! I typically don't like going to the dentist but Traci made the experience great! You can tell she really loves her job. Highly recommend

Very friendly staff,but we were missed about their ability to take mainecare. Once the work was done at over $700 we were told. Went to get a cap and crown put back in place and it's fallen out again in 2 months. Also 1 tooth extracted. Worth $748 not really. Why does dentistry cost so much?

Definitely recommend if you have dental anxiety like me! The office is super clean, and Faith and Dr. Choe were incredibly professional and kind, answering all of my questions and putting in the extra effort to make sure we had the best plan possible moving forward. Front desk staff were also super friendly! A+ y'all :)

Dr. Choe did an awful job and did not care about my concerns. Hack job dentist. Very painful. I would not recommend to anyone especially children.

I have to agree with most others on here, Faith was knowledgeable and a fantastic personality, staff is pleasant and friendly and I had a very reasonable wait time, Dr. Choe was very efficient and matter of fact last time I saw him which I appreciate very much.

Staff is very friendly, they made me feel comfortable and safe that they knew what they were doing. My first time going and I left feeling like Faith had listened and met my needs fully. I feel confident now about my whole family using them for their dental needs.

Waterville Family Dentistry is a wonderful place to go. They are so friendly from the front desk to everyone out back. They take time to make sure you know what's needed for your teeth and go over cost thoroughly. Dr. Choe is marvelous and does excellent work and does not pressure you into anything you can't afford. Just tells you what's needed and leaves it up to you. My hygienist was also excellent. Traci was so nice and did an exceptional cleaning. Every spec of tarter was gone when I left. Thank you so much Traci for the awesome cleaning. You are so good at what you do. I recommend Waterville Family Dentistry Highly! You won't be disappointed here. Update___ 12-14-2021 Chipped a front tooth. I called and they got me in the very next day And I couldn't be happier with the results. Dr.Choe and his assistant Faith were the best. I am so happy to feel I am in such good hands. Thank you so much for everything.

Had my teeth cleaned here last week and it was amazing the lady that cleaned my teeth did an amazing job! She was also friendly ( I mean everyone at the office, from receptionist to dentist!) They are all amazing, and very professional! I highly recommend Waterville Family Dentistry!
