Dr. Acosta Lake opened The Waterfront Dental Care in 2007 with the objective of providing the highest quality of dental care to the diverse community of Westchester and doing so with kindness, compassion and professionalism.
Dr. Cecilia Acosta Lake was born and raised in Ecuador where she received her bachelors degree in Biology and Chemistry and earned her Doctor's Degree in Dental Medicine from Universidad Central Del Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador.
Later on she moved to the United States to be with her family, she attended New York University -College of Dentistry, where she received her degree as Doctor of Dental Surgery. After graduation, she joined The Institute for Family Health and became director of the dental department.
Dr. Acosta Lake dedicates many hours each year to continuing education and enjoys staying current on the latest developments in dental research. She received a certificate of achievement from the NYU Implant Program for completing their Surgical and Prosthetic Dental Implant Training. She is also a certified Invisalign provider. Dr. Acosta Lake is an active member of the Spear Center of Advanced Dental Education and various other study clubs.
Dr. Yohan Kim graduated from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine Top of his class where he was trained for comprehensive dentistry. He was an invitee of Omicron Kappa Ulpsilon dental honor society. He has graduated from General Practice Residency at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center in NY with being the top resident of the year. He has been affiliated with Bellevue Hospital Center Oral Surgery/Dentistry department, NYU College of Dentistry and Hiossen/AIC training center to help other dentists learn about implant dentistry. His main focus these days is same day, minimally invasive dentistry using digital technology to treat patients safer and more predictably. He is a candidate for fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry and He is currently a fellow in International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
