Wonderful people with great quality service. Every time I go in they know me by name, which as a person with terrible name recall, that is impressive alone. I usually feel a bit like I'm at a dog show when I have someone poking around in my mouth. But they always make me feel comfy, like ole pals I catch up with over a cup of spearmint toothpaste every six months. Lynn and I are basically BFF's at this point. They're thorough, trustworthy, and I always leave feeling well taken care of by the entire staff! Plus Dr. Dalhkemper gets bonus points for always complimenting me on my laugh.

Very friendly and competent hygienists. Dr. D is very thorough and proactive. The front office staff are great and explain any concerns you have. I highly recommend Dr. D and her office.

I had my first appointment with Water's Edge today, and I am really impressed with the total professionalism of every aspect of my visit. My initial evaluation was the most thorough I have ever received. Dr. Dahlkemper and all of the staff were friendly, and their professional bearing inspired confidence. The level of technology they have available was also a step above what I have experienced in the past. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I've been trying to find a dentist for several months. Like most things that come when you move to a new city (been settled in Charleston since last Oct), I kept putting it off. Of course less than a week before I was supposed to go home for a wedding, one of my teeth started bothering me I located Water's Edge via search engine and liked what I saw on their website so I called to try to get in (as a new patient I figured getting any kind of last minute appointment would be impossible). Much to my surprise they had an appointment that would work! I walked in and was greeted by Emily, who was super friendly and inviting (and I'm not just saying that because we share the same fabulous name and happen to have the same wallet!!). Lynn (who cleaned and examined my teeth) was wonderful as well! We chatted during the visit and she explained everything to me in very thorough detail. Dr. Dahlkemper was so fun and has the best personality and treated me as if she'd known me for years!! I honestly have never had a better experience at a dental visit and am so happy I decided to take the chance on them!

Dr. Dalkemper and all of her staff are absolute angels! They go above and beyond to help with all of your needs. I have been a patient here since 2008 when I was only 14 years old and even with me moving to Columbia, I still to this day will make the drive to Charleston for all of my dental needs. I have tried a few other dentists that were closer to home over the years but I always go back to Water's Edge Dentistry. Dr. D doesn't give you the run around and try to make you have unnecessary dental work, she will do whatever it takes to get your teeth healthy and educates you about what is causing the issues and how to help solve and prevent the problem. All of the staff are so kind, friendly and patient. I have extreme anxiety about the dentist and everyone is so patient and will do everything they can to make you comfortable. I will always make the drive to Water's Edge Dentistry and am so grateful for all of the help and education they have given me over the years. If you are searching for an amazing, honest and clean dental office look no further. I cannot say enough good things about this dental practice and that is hard to find nowadays. Do not hesitate to call and schedule an appointment with them, you will wish you had gone to them sooner!

I'm a weirdo because I get excited to go to the dentist. It didn't used to be that way. I hated going to the dentist because it was always really expensive at every visit. I LOVE Dr. Dahlkemper! She is the best and has the best group of hygienists, too. Dr. D is amazing snd does not do unnecessary work. I tell everyone to go see her. She has a great personality. If I ever moved, I would fly back for appointments.
